Absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and efficient service! The fish isn't too oily and pack the right crunch. Plantains are crispy and well cooked. The seafood empanadas are $2.50 and SO FLAVORFUL. I can't wait to visit again.

FIRE Finally got the chance to go here after having it on my list for so long! I ordered about $75 worth of food lol so I definitely ate with my eyes but everything was fresh and delicious! The staff made great recommendations and we tried a little bit of everything including the conch (a little chewy for me) the fish bites, the shrimp (my favorite), shrimp empanada, and the ceviche with rice and beans. Just 10/10 I definitely need to stop here more often.

The food quality has dropped significantly and the taste is horrible, the shrimp tasted bitter, no fresh flavor as it used to be. Extremely expensive for the amount served.

Must have every time I come to Miami, theres always a line. Highly recommend. It is not fancy or anything so definitely not for a 1st or 2nd date but the food is amazing.

I don't care where my seafood comes from as long as it is fresh and delicious. My husband and I wanted a snack so he insisted we come here for some conch. He ordered us some fried conch which is suppose to come with rice and beans or a salad. He asked for rice and beans but they messed up and gave us a salad. The conch also came with a tiny bit of their house aioli and some fried plantain. If you want more aioli you had to pay an additional $3. The conch was okay. We didn't eat the "salad" because it was just some lettuce and two pieces of tomatoes. And the plantain was whatever. The total for the whole thing was about $22. The conch was cool but nothing crazy good. My husband wasn't too happy with the order. It was pretty busy when we came and the order came out pretty quick. I would be down to come back and try other items. Probably not conch though.

    GROUPER STEAKS &
 RED BEANS & RICE

First time here on Saturday at 4. 12 people ahead of me but the line moved fast. Most everything here seams to be fried. I wanted fried fish. They don't offer a grouper fillet. I saw fried grouper STEAK. $19.95 with red beans & rice. I have never seen grouper steaked before. The problem with steaked fish is you have to deal with the bones. I received 2 small steaks that were way over cooked, dried out and had really no flavor. I'm sure they have other things that are very good but I can't recommend this dish. Not close to home so may or may not go back.

Our normal fish market closed down since the last time we were in town, but quickly found this spot around the corner. Great variety of fresh seafood and it was clean! Which may seem hard to do in a fish market, but it was neat and tidy with the fish all laying the in the same direction. Prices seemed reasonable too. The only downside is the fact they don't have an effective system for cleaning the fish. You come and drop your bag on the end of the counter and they grab it from there. Now, if there's a lot of people not everyone knows to drop their bag at the end of the counter, they just drop it anywhere thus essentially "cutting the line". I witnessed this happen to a few people, which kind of sucks. If only they get a better system then it would 5 across the board!!

My mom's friend had recommended this place and it did not disappoint. We came for lunch during a Saturday afternoon and even though there was a line it was well worth the wait. Parking is a little complicated but since people come and go, it's pretty quick to find parking. I ordered the fish with fried plantains and salad. Let me tell you it was delicious! Cooked really well and pretty filling. I am not one to order fish because of the bones but I couldn't pass up on the opportunity. They serve you the entire fish including bones and everything. Pretty neat! The idea is you walk up to the window, order the food and sit on tables outside, if there are any available. When I went it was pretty busy but luckily one table opened up and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our meal. I recommend to visit if you are looking for a a fresh seafood meal as it was pretty satisfying. Thanks to my mom's friend for the recommendation.

Literally threatening guests just for trying to pull into a public parking space. They were holding spots for their friends or whoever they felt like, and when we called them out on it, they got spiteful and immature. After we parked, they blocked us in, trying to flex their fake authority, then had the nerve to come out in a group when we tried to leave, trying to intimidate us and act like tough guys. This wasn't just rude, this was harassment and borderline threatening behavior. Crusoe Wynwood clearly doesn't care about guest safety if this is who they hire. I don't care how trendy the place is. It's not worth dealing with a bunch of hostile, insecure bullies in security shirts. Out of all years of living in Miami never thought of going to this place and now for sure never go. I'll make sure everyone I know hears about this place.

Unfortunately, the free drink at each of these bars included a cheap liquor (whisky, tequila, vodka, or rum) and 1 mixer (Sprite, Coke, cranberry juice, or OJ). We had fun but wish we had more options for the drinks! We couldn't even order a margarita. We arrived to Crusoe at 9PM and stayed for about 1 hour. Such a fun time with good music and cool decor. A fun place to drink and dance with friends! Overall, I'd say this place is "great."

The lychee martini was a bit better, my sister had a piña colada and that was yummy. As an appetizer I went with the lobster bisque which had bits and pieces of lobster throughout, quite filling. My favorite dish has to have been the risotto, it was very flavorful and creamy. The presentation of everything was great. The service was good, our server Claudia tried her best to accommodate such a big party of 15 people. What I will say is that they took a while to take our drink order when we first arrived since our entire party hadn't made it yet. Although, I did appreciate that they sat us down without everyone being there. That was very convenient. Our reservation was for 7 pm and we ended up leaving at around 10:30. Overall, I would definitely come back but maybe with a smaller group of people. The restaurant is nice because it overlooks the river. It's such a beautiful scenery to gaze at while enjoying some amazing seafood. Just a heads up; for parking you can valet or street park with PayByPhone.

My family and I chose Casablanca on the River to celebrate my father's 70th birthday dinner. As Miami natives, we had heard great things of the restaurant and thought it would be an excellent place to celebrate my dad who is a seafood lover. The positives: the appetizer and entrees were very good. The negatives: the service and the desserts were terrible. I follow the restaurant on social media. 9 hours prior to our dinner, they posted about a special World Cup menu. 3 hours prior to our reservation, the full $10 World Cup menu was posted. When we arrived, I asked our server about the specials that were posted. She was confused and asked a coworker. Both said they knew nothing about the menu. Our server went to ask a manager and was told that the menu was for the following week. We were confused because June 19th was specifically written on the menu. I do not believe in getting loud with people who handle my food, so we ordered and tried to move on with the evening. We began our drink order. After confirming it was a full bar, we asked for a specialty cocktail that has simple ingredients. They said they couldn't make it. We observed that this restaurant follows the trend of hospitality that does not go the extra step, so we settled on a bottle of Rosé to play it safe. Dinner arrived and it was good. Not extraordinary, but good. The catch of the day, the snapper, the fish dip, and the shrimp escargot were all very tasty. We ordered dessert for our dad's birthday: a flan, a key lime pie, and a crema catalana. The flan lacked any caramel flavor, the key lime pie was a cheesecake masquerading as key lime, and the crema catalana was a soup. It was obvious these were preprepared desserts they most likely purchase through a third party vendor. The server did bring out a slice of guava cheesecake, but it was not fully thawed and very thick. 18% gratuity was already added and the server explained that that was not her tip, an inappropriate thing to say. There was no effort for additional tip so none was given. The server did not appreciate that and she had no problem showing it. As a family of people who work in hospitality, we did not receive any type of service. Our check was over $500, a cost I happily incur when it is merited. Next to Seaspice, Kiki, and Bagatelle, why would anyone opt to spend their money at this restaurant? The server stated she spoke to a manager earlier but looking around there wasn't a manager in sight. It was clear the property lacks leadership to set the bar of service higher and it showed in the low bar of service received. They just rely on the view to attract business. As stated, it's a view that is offered at several other restaurants within walking distance. We will not be returning.
