When we called they stated that they were only open 8am-10am on Saturday and Sunday. My mother and I went to Kruger tow 10/20/19 expecting to go through the car. When we arrived they told us that they would clear the vehicle and provide us with he belongings . We were surprised about this policy as we provided proof of our car and were expecting to be the ones to go through the car to ensure that we got all of our belongings. The customer service representative at the front stated "we do this everyday" and attempts to reassure us that they look through the whole car including under the seats and the glove box. When the worker who went through our car can with a shopping cart and met us at the front gate my mother noticed a bag was missing to which the worker stated the bag was left in the front seat and he would go back to get it. This is was a red flag. The worker also stated that he was unable to get Some things in the back trunk because he was not able to reach it and stated "we don't go above and beyond to get things out of the car we just get what we can". My mother and I were unable to take any action and had to accept what was. I called to speak to their customer service representative who was rude and basically said oh well. My mother and I went through the things and she has stated that there are items missing. Kruger tow steals and damages cars with no consequences. If you look at their history and the yelp review you can see that this company which is supposed to work with the police department is running a scam and they need to be stopped. This pattern of history has showed they are taking advantage of people while hiding behind their business deal with the police department. I hope nobody ever has to deal with these crooks. If you have had to deal with them please file a formal report. I was involved in a 5-car accident a week ago- my car being the only immobile one as result. Kruger Tow was at the scene in about 15 minutes and was very attentive. This is where they played the hero: I originally was under the impression that my Insurance policy had full-coverage on my 2016 leased vehicle, and therefore had Kruger Tow take my car to their yard where my Insurance would pay the towing fees. Unfortunately, I had them take my car in only to discover that the policy changes I had requested online were never actually processed. Being a full-time student and only working part-time, I had no idea how I would afford to pay the fees to get my car out and to the shop. However, Joe the owner was extremely understanding of my situation and was willing to discount the original price to get my car out for an amount that was affordable for me. My vehicle was towed on a Saturday. When I picked up my vehicle less than 24 hours later on Sunday, I noticed that the property and the possessions left in my car were missing. I made the front desk and managerial staff aware of this the day of, as well as every day thereafter during that subsequent week. I have not received acknowledgment nor any type of proposed solution to understand what may have happened or how this may be resolved. I HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend against hiring this company for any of your towing needs. BRENDA that means you sweetheart...my car was stolen and received a letter in the mail telling me that my car has been recovered, the authorities nor Kruger Tow let me know that my car was there for a week! I call the tow company to confirm if in fact my car is there and the girl, which I know now was Brenda was rude over the phone and hangs up on me. I show up in person and Brenda takes 15mins to show up to the window (mind you, I am the only person there) and is just rolling her eyes and being snarky, I ask if my car is in driving condition and she tells me it's in "pretty good" condition and it's drivable and wants me to pay up. My car gets pushed out by a forklift and there is nothing under the hood! How can I drive off?! I go back inside and politely let them know that they lied and that my car is nothing but a shell and can't be driven off like Brenda said that I could, this is when she gets more rude and says that I'm giving her attitude (ridiculous ) and tries to keep my money and lagged 40 mins to give me a refund, Kruger Tow are crooks and BRENDA needs some CUSTOMER SERVICE training and lessons in EMPATHY. Incredibly rude customer service over the phone. The car got towed at the lot across the Double Tree Hilton, who had no idea that any cars would get towed. There was no sign either that there would be an event for which the car would be towed. They even do not tell you if they have your car if you don't know the licence plate. Then they told us they close in 15 minutes and we would have to go to the sherrif before. Plus we were charged even though there was no sign up. So they said they would charge us an extra $60 to open the gate again. Ridiculous, what a scam! read more

My Rolls Royce was impounded as a consequence of my mechanic's negligence. Once the mechanic put me in contact with Kruger Towing, I was informed that my car was going to be aucitoned off as a lien sale in two days. My bill by this time was $1800. Jim offered me a settlement of $1,000 if I could pick up my car the following day (a day prior to the lien sale day), which I did. I've had the bad luck of having my car impounded a few times and I can only blame myself. But I've put a lot of money into my custom car. Have had really bad experiences at other facilities when I went to Kruger tow to pick up my car i dealt with Joe at the window. He told me it would be a 20 min wait, then I noticed them taking out my car from inside the building. I asked Joe why was my car kept inside ? If I was charged extra for indoor storage. He told me "I noticed a lot of money put into your car, I can appreciate that and stored your car indoors for no extra charge". I inspected my car all my belonging still in it money and watch. The lady/man at the window that I talk to that looks like a dude is rude af. First they make you sign the paper work before they let you check your car. They won't answer any questions or let you check the car, because they want you to pay them first in case they have already damaged your car so they won't be responsible for the damages. Witch they did scratch my car, the front bumper of my car and the sides by the door. When I got the car the man at the gate closed the gate right away so I didn't ask questions. I check the car and saw the scratches that they made to the car, I when back to the window to talk to the rude dude/women but by the time I talk to her she had already made changes to the paper work, I hurd the guy tell her "oh she said is the bumper" and she made a big circle in pen on the bumper area of the drawing on the copies off the paper work. Keep in mind she has an original copy and that circle is not on my copy of the paper work. I have pictures of the car from before and those scratches are not there. Lesson learned always check sheriff's report before you sign any paper work ask to check your car for damages before paying. I also called the the sheriff's and they said this type of cased are civil mater so they won't get involved.
