Went to Krystals last night and ordered 7 Krystals, 2 fries and an apple turnover. Checked the food before pulling off, all of the Krystals were extremely old and dry. The buns were hard and the onions were dry and burned. Only received one order of fries and no turnover. I pulled back around to the window gave her my bags and asked for a refund. We paid cash, she told us it was only two of them there and no manager on duty to open the register. I said we would be back tomorrow to get the refund. She stated they probably won't give us the refund since we wouldn't have the food to give them........Really?!? read more

This was the first time I have been here. I was told they are comparable to White Castle because I love the frozen burgers. (Thats all we get in Cali). The tots were bland. I love Krystals. I'll say that again. I love Krystals. BUT this unit is terrible. I live close by but will drive to the Lee Highway shop just to avoid the slow and unfriendliness of this place. It's really amazing how bad the service is here. Go to the Lee Highway or South Broad locations. Cherokee Boulevard was great back in the day, and they may still be. Management is racist here. Visited store yesterday and as manager was overcharging me I complained commenting that she's supposed to honor the advertised price on her menu. She didn't care, became belligerent with me, started using racist slurs at me, then refused to provide my order. While I waited for my refund and card back her staff began throwing things at me. Now if a white manager treated customers in this regard, when they're in the wrong in the first place as the law states a business must honor their advertised prices, they'd be rioting all over the place. Racism and bigotry should never be acceptable or tolerated. This level of ignorance has no place in society and certainly no place in management of a national chain store. read more

Totally rebuilt to a new style Krystal but the service has went old school where it takes 20-30 minutes to get thru the drive thru. This use to be an easy fast in and out right off interstate. But it is terrible now. Doubt it would be any better inside. Think about it, it take less than two minutes to cook one of these burgers. Ordered through the app. Waited the 14 minutes that the app said to wait. It was in store pick up. When I walked in a lady came running at me saying my dining room is closed. Everytime I tried to talk she would scream my dining room is closed. I told her I had an app order and asked if she would like me to go through the drive thru. I am only reviewing the low carb bowl, as I don't get anything else at Krystal. The bowl is good, with lots of eggs, cheese and bacon. It's super filling and gives you lots of protein to get through your morning and not feel hungry. The staff are good. I'm usually there at like 6am, so there's not usually a wait. They recently tore down the old building and rebuilt it. It looks very nice. This is a convenient stop on my way to work, easy on and off the 75 highway. read more

Read my other Krystal first. After trying to contact Krystal about eight times on their website with no response. I tried calling the store again. I had such a bad experience that I would not let it go. I asked to speak to or get the number for an area supervisor. The lady on the phone sounded familiar and I found out later that it was the same manager that I had my first bad experience with. She actually yelled out across the restaurant (I heard on the phone) , "you remember that guy in the drive-through from about a month ago?". So apparently this situation made such an impact on her that she remembered as well and was still basically mocking me. She hung up on me. I finally got in touch with the manager you got me in touch with the area Director. Now this lady is class. She looked into the reason why she had not been getting my complaint emails but not only that she sent my complaint all the way up the chain of command. Yes, I got a call from the president of the company who took me out bought me lunch to get the details more correct of my experience. This is pretty much unheard of. This guy was outstanding in his service to the customer. He promised to get the situation in that store handled. He in the area supervisor who also was at this lodge both were beyond respectful and an interested in my experience at one of their stores. I could not be happier with the results. I have no idea if that manager is still working for the company but for the president of the company and to actually have lunch with me to listen to my situation goes above and beyond what I expected. Manager AJ Jones will not honor an advertised promotion. First he acted like he had never heard of it and then when I showed him the promotion he said they don't honor that anymore and there is no way to ring it up on cash register. He was a big smart aleck about it. I've contacted Krystal Corporate and the Chattanooga Lookouts about my experience. They all say it is being corrected. We will see. UPDATE: I spent the time, as requested, and filled out a long online survey, with many details and sent it to Krystal's. A week or so later I get a standard letter and one coupon for 3 Krystal meal. LOL. i don't want anything for free! I don't eat fries or drink your drinks. I just want you to honor your promotions. How about sending me a coupon that just duplicates the limited promotion you would not honor? How about a coupon for 12 Krystal's for $6??? I had never been to a Krystal. I am a big fan of White Castle and heard this was similar. I was visiting family in Chattanooga and stopped by to try this place. There were only two people working from what I could see, and the driver through was pretty steady. I waited a few minutes to order, and the girl working the counter and drive thru came and took my order. I could tell she was getting worked and they were short staffed but she was still incredibly friendly. I waited a few minutes and the guy in the kitchen popped over to say he was making my stuff fresh and it would just be a couple more minutes. Also working by himself in the kitchen. Also super friendly. When i got the food I ate a few krystals(like a white castle slider, but they put ketchup mustard and onion on it here like mcdonalds). I also ate their country fried steak slider. I was way more pleased with everything than i expected. And the service was excellent. Definitely a good first impression. Will return. read more

I went through the drive through and the employee that gave us our order was unfriendly, rude and has an attitude. When we got home we realized that we didn't get our med fruit punch ice. We didn't get to call the restaurant until a couple hours later. The person who answered the phone said he was the manager. After having to explain the issue several time he started arguing about it and said because we didn't call earlier or come back right away he would not give us the ice. The icee was not very much so the money isn't a big deal. The problem was the managers attitude. I have never heard of their being a time limit for returning to get items that you paid for and didn't receive. There was no apology for the mistake. Which was there mistake. Dealing with a manager you would expect some professionalism and better customer service and some accountability. I was highly disappointed with my whole experiences. It isn't no what you would expect from a corporation such as krystals. I will not be returning to the restaurant. It does not live up to the brand. I have been several times and each time there usually is something wrong with my order. Usually starts with the order taker, having a northern accent people have trouble understanding me. I would like a sweet tea, and 5 Krystal deluxes add extra pickles and extra ketchup. Not too hard of an order but what do I get? 5 plain bugers completely dry no lettuce and tomato. I never have this problem ordering at Burger King on E Brainerd. I know that they even had problems trying to charge me extra for lettuce and tomato, I asked for the manager and manager on duty was not aware of the ads on television or even her menu board. This place is JOKE. When I get to the window to pay for my food they let me it's gone be a 10-15 minute wait for Krystal's . So I pull forward and proceed to wait. While waiting 4 cars that were after me are given there food and sent on their way. when they finally bring me my food, minus my drinks and fries the Krystal burger are cold, cheese has not even melted and are like cold to the touch.
