Good service, friendly/family environment and delicious food. We were mixed about entering but am I glad we decided to try it out. The wings were on point, typically, most places say the "hot" sauce is "hot" and it's not. This time I ordered the Texas Hot wings and not a mention of this so I said no big deal, but to my surprise they did have a nice and delicious kick. The kids had sliders weigh looked good, the wife had tots that were delicious and there were milkshake orders, my favorite was the chocolate peanut butter shake. If you're in the area, walking and touring, this place is a great happy middle as they also have spiked milkshake, a variety of burgers and wings as well. read more

Excellent food, service and location. We found this while looking for a place open on Monday night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great selection of adult beverages ! Across the street from Tennessee Aquarium, so this makes a good spot to go before or after seeing the sights. Highly recommended. read more

Wow, great find for me, walking distance to the Erwin Marina where I am at for a week. On a Thursday night at 6:00ish, they were not too busy. You order as you walk in, menus on screens at the entry. I ordered a beer and the 96 burger. Wow it was more than I should have ate with fries. That is a tasty burger (Pulp fiction) cooked perfectly and great flavor. Their homemade veggie burger is SO good. It's hard to find good, non-impossible veggie burgers. It even stayed together as I ate it! Super yummy. The tots were good and the fries were decent. My friends really liked their meat burgers. The folks who brought the food were nice and it's a relaxed, unpretentious spot. I don't understand why they have you order up front before sitting. This is a fantastic burger spot just off the main street near the aquarium--definitely worth checking out! I had the Black and Blue Burger, and it was amazing--juicy, flavorful, and loaded with just the right amount of blue cheese to give it a bold kick without being overpowering. My girlfriend got the chicken sandwich, and while she really enjoyed it, she said it could've used a little more seasoning or sauce to make it stand out. The real star of the meal, though, was our appetizer--the pepperoni cheese curds. Absolute 10/10. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, with the pepperoni adding a fun, salty twist. About a 6 person line had to wait about 20 minutes. When we got to the front she said she had to go ask if we could sit 6 even though there were plenty of chairs. My wife went ahead and sat down to breast feed our newborn and get our 2 year old settled and someone told her to leave because she can't save seats(no signs anywhere). She used the excuse that I was currently ordering and the waitress rolled her eyes and walked off. The ac may be broken or just not great. There was water all over the bathroom floor. The booth table was not stop wobbly. There was a booth covered in buckets and towels because of a leak. Now waiting on food I'll get to that next. Not bad! Burger Republic was ranked for one of the top burgers in Tennessee, so I was pretty excited for this visit. Upon entering, to your right you see these TVs with the menu and then you get in line to order food. Not my favorite concept as it prevents the customer from connecting with the staff and small talk, but to others maybe this is the dream. After ordering, we took our buzzers to a table. We didn't wait long at all before we got our drinks and appetizers. The Pepperoni Cheese Curds were good, but split between two or more people the serving is pretty small. I really enjoyed my Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake, but I could've done without the extra toppings. My Tenessee Burger was good, although I didn't like the Jack Daniel's honey glaze as much as much as I thought I would. I would choose another burger next time. While we were finishing up our meal, the restaurant was getting busier and busier. A family skipped the line at the main entrance to claim some seats at the end of our table and a staff member greeted them but then told them they need to order food before claiming a seat. The staff member then told his coworker, a bit disgruntled, "They're not going to listen". This concept where you order your food, pay and tip before finding seating is foreign to some people and it's hard to enforce at times I'm sure. After the aquarium, we walked over to this burger spot--less than a 5-minute walk, and it was good. I got their veggie burger, and my boyfriend got the Tennessee-style burger. I really wish a liar's pants would catch fire. They advertise an incentive to eat here if you have aquarium tickets. The woman at the front said that they only offer that to museum members. The sign by their register even says that this is applicable to anyone who has a ticket. The shady ploy to get customers perhaps speaks to the next part of this review. Low grade dogfood. I can't believe they served this flavorless burger and charge what they do. The tots were decent, if you're in the 3rd grade. You can also pay a server's tip for someone to bring your order to the table and do nothing else. You get your own drinks. What a crock of garbage. Been here both times I was in Chattanooga it's that good. Huge selection of burgers, fries, shakes, tots, apps and other sammies if you're not feelin a burger. The garlic fries and truffle tots are amazing. ABC and cookie butter shake are amazing- but really can't go wrong with any of the shakes- especially the boozie ones. All burgers come with fries or tots but you can upgrade them to the garlic, bacon, or truffle versions for a few bucks. Worth it. Loaded tot appetizer is awesome. Burger Republic has a large patio and typically has a line. You order at the counter and then grab your number and grab a table- so it's a quick service place. The ordering system reminded me of a "fast food" place, where you place your order up front and wait for someone to bring it to you. I thought this was kind of strange...and reminded me too much of COVID. The food was really good. I ordered the West Texas burger, and my wife ordered the Black and Bleu salad. Both were fantastic. The beers were cool and crisp as well. The shakes looked fantastic, but we were too full to try them. Great burgers! My husband and I are new to town, and when we heard about Chattanooga Burger Week, I figured we needed to partake - even though I truly never eat burgers. But, for my annual burger, we chose to go to Burger Republic, mainly because the deal included a burger AND tots or fries. This was conveniently located near the Courtyard and the staff recommended it for burgers and shakes. I had the Shroomin' burger which has a pretty good-sized beef patty, Swiss cheese, bacon, and grilled mushrooms and onions along with lettuce, sliced tomatoes and garlic aioli. It came with French fries and a bunch of sauces, which other than the ranch and buffalo, I wasn't really sure what the others were lol. Maybe blue cheese and green goddess or green chili? I have some food allergies so I didn't want to risk trying them. The burger was pretty good, the bun was soft but hearty enough to hold the beef and toppings without disintegrating. Fries were crisp and I wished there were more of them. The espresso chip shake was pretty amazing and that was great for dessert. I walked in and ordered since it was so close by. I didn't have to wait too long, 15 minutes and was offered a glass of water and a seat at a table near the bar to wait.
