My husband and I purchased a used Jeep and went to the dealership for help with our blower as we had no idea. Walk in secretary calls for a SERVICE person to come. What we got in stead what another secretary NOT a service person at all. Before we went there we did already turn the knob and we still weren't overly sure. I definitely would NOT waste my time even going there if you didn't buy it there. They have no interest at all. I have NEVER been so disgusted in all of my life EVER!!! My husband found a vehicle on a whim here and I made a call. I Spoke with Chris and through a few texts we were able to take care of details such as trade in amount and what I was looking for in a new vehicle. To take acre of this over the phone was imperative as we were 3 hours away. Chris was leaving for vacation but made sure he let me know and put me in touch with his teammate Tina who took things from there. As it was 4th of July weekend and the dealership was short staffed Tina tells me she isn't sure I can pick up vehicle on Sat. I explain I am 3 hours away and a weekday drive is not in the cards. This woman jumps through all the hoops and gets it done. I walk into dealership at 9 am on Sat to her and the owner greeting us by name and the vehicle being dried off in the front of the dealership. We spend about 15 mins on paperwork, no pressure to but any extended warranty which is always irritating to me and Tina shows me all the things about the vehicle I need to know and sends us on our way. By far the best car buying experience I have had ever. Took a beautiful 3 hour ride home with the top down in our new Jeep and Krystal Chrysler Jeep Dodge will be the 1st place I look when I am ready to upgrade next time. The customer service is 2nd to none. I will be back to deal with both Chris and Tina in the future for sure. The vehicle is just as advertised. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. Worst repair experience ever. My truck needed 3 repairs. They gave me a quote for $653 and the part would arrive in 4-5 days. Two weeks later, I called and they had apparently forgotten about me. I got a call that the Truck was ready the next day, all set. Then the real problems began. Repairs were $709, but the after hours cashier didn't know why. I got a mile away and the same dash lights returned. I had already had a bad day, and returned immediately. Doors were all locked, a few minutes before closing. Now I was really upset, and yelled a lot. Sales manager came out and asked who I was yelling at. I took a breath and said "not you. But I want this fixed." I left the truck and called the next am. Left a strong message. Got a call back and I was blunt about all of the above reasons why I was upset. We played phone tag a bit, and then I was told that they didn't want to fix my truck! I wish they had admitted that earlier. So now the truck is at the dealer where I bought it. They are beyond amazed at the errors in the supposed repair. Krystal mechanic apparently didn't install the correct part, but modified the available part to make it fit. Also they Poked holes in the wires looking for current. Just had to pay another $600+. Never will I return to Krystal. Only giving one star because I can't give less. read more

Found car on Auto trader app for $5,000 at Krystal. Went in expecting that for that much (normally spent about $1,000 for a car off Craigslist. Sometimes less.) I would have a reliable used car. Sales was good. Financing fair. Payments low. $5,000 for the car including the undercoating. Then another $1,800 for the warranty. Which was a separate bill. Couldn't finance it into the whole loan. My Mistake: not asking for Carfax. Them not showing me a Carfax. Comparison: Whiteman gave me a copy of the Carfax and it's even available on their website. Asked to have them get car ready by the time I return from vacation. Returned, but car was not ready. After nearly two weeks. Had to wait a few days more. Even then, problems occurred over the 11 1/2 months I owned it. Some of which were ignored, or possibly patched. Only speculation there. CEL came on after not even having the car for a week. Took it in for repairs, Krystal fronted the money to pay for the manifold Loaners given when repairs were being done. Had to bring it back for the O2 sensors (makes sense). Both went at different times. Finally cleared the CEL within the 1st month. Brought car to Jiffy Lube. They dumped my transmission fluid and the old oil was left in with 4qt of new oil on top Krystal helped fix those issues. Loaner car was not available. Used warranty to cover for rental. Old radiator hose burst, replaced with help of local mechanic. He noticed that the radiator fluid was a bit milky looking. Drove it to Krystal to get their diagnosis. They did single coolant flush (close to Winter) Months later, another radiator hose burst. Had to tow it back to Krystal They recommended I get the radiator replaced, which was covered under the warranty ($200 deductible). Turned that down. Had local mechanic flush the coolant system. Still milky, he said. Keeping an eye on coolant levels. About this point, I put a previous review on Yelp regarding my issues with this car, which was supposed to be a reliable used car. Krystal called and asked for me to take it down. They then proceeded to tell me that they put a lot of money into the car (like 1/2 the value at this point) and that if I had problems to talk with them. However, I have been telling them all the issues I've been having and expressed that I shouldn't be having problems like this so early in owning a used car. They promised to waive the diagnostic fee on the radiator if I complied. I did. Funny oil smell. Had local mechanic replace the valve cover gasket. Oil leak for a while. Since about February, started to notice a loud rumbling noise. Had both wheel bearings replaced late winter / early spring. Still noisy. Late spring, got winter tires swapped out for original tires when car purchased. Asked Tire Warehouse to do the tire swap and an alignment. Had to replace one of the ball joints to do this. Then replaced the other ball joint with local mechanic. Whilst there, asked what leaked substance was coming out of the engine. Turns out it was coming from the thermostat housing and was mixing coolant with oil. He recommended changing out the head gasket, which just after was when I started looking for a new car. He noted that there's still a milky substance and the coolant was nearly gone. Still had a few thousand miles left on the warranty, so I took it to a different Chrysler dealership that would look at my car. They said the thermostat housing should be replaced which was not covered under the warranty. The head gasket was. I told my local mechanic and he said that I could do that work, but then it would build pressure up elsewhere and could very likely cause the head gasket to rupture when it was already leaking. Making the repairs cost another $1600 to do all that work. Total repairs out of my pocket net almost $3,000. Whilst Krystal handed over about $2,500 for the manefold, cat and sensors. In total, much more than the car was worth to them. Opinion: It should not cost more to repair within the first year than the total value of the vehicle. The dealership should be responsible for making sure the car is ready to take on an owner and not have this many problems. Overall, my experience with Krystal was subpar. They seemed like they just wanted to get the car off the lot. They didn't seem to care too much about the condition of the car as it left the lot. My experience with Whiteman Chevrolet was leaps and bounds better than Krystal. They understood my situation and allowed me to search around a bit. I know I had my eye set on the one car at Krystal, but they could have put more care into the car like Whiteman had. Although I paid extra to have it done, they worked hard to make sure I got the car I was expecting: reliable and affordable. The payments were reasonable for the price. So in conclusion: I would not recommend Krystal. Not unless you're planning on getting a new car instead. read more

We drove hours to come look at the nicest car they even had in a little podunk town - only to have them tell us very rudely that we couldn't take a car home on a down payment. Before we even left - we told them we'd be paying the down payment through a credit card. They told us no, we can't do that. Because they're so cheap they don't want to pay the bank a 3% fee. Are you kidding me? They told us we'd have to pay the down payment in cash. They told us to drive 3.5 hours with $7,000 in cash. Forreal? That's so unsafe - blatant disregard for others. We were told after a test drive and 3.5 hours of driving that we couldn't have the car because we didn't have a check in hand. Do you people know how loans work? We pay the down payment. You fax the bank the paperwork so they know exactly how much to send. The bank sends you a confirmation of an overnight check before we even leave. It wouldn't have been so bad if the salesman, Christopher, wasn't so rude. When we told him we need to send the bank paperwork he said "then you can't have the car! We need to be paid. You should've came check in hand." He could've said "well, we can't let you take the car home today but you can come back tomorrow after the check arrives." But no. Then treated us as if we were stupid. "No dealer in the world does that!" Yes, Christopher, they do. Do you really think a bank will send the borrower a check to spend freely? Especially a check for a loan over $10,000? No, we've bought 4 cars this way, and it has never been a problem. Absolutely horrible people. Honestly, they were probably mad we weren't using their financing. Because my bank has a 2.3% for our credit score & we have a good loan relationship. They only want dumb people from their little town buying cars there. They don't want financially literate people who have good rates that they make no money except commission off of. Awful. We brought our 2013 Grand Cherokee to Krystal for a routine service (oil change, tire rotation and diagnostics) a few days prior to taking a trip to Florida. On I-95 in South Carolina going 75 miles an hour we detected a problem with the car and pulled off the road. We found that 3 lug nuts were missing and 3 studs were sheared off our left rear tire, and the two remaining lugs were very loose. We were told by the mechanics and service advisors we dealt with that the damages were likely caused by the lug nuts not being properly tightened. Between repairs in So. Carolina and Florida, it cost us $3000 to get our car fixed, ruined our vacation as it took 10 days to repair our car, and if it wasn't for the generosity of family and friends it would have cost us a lot more money for car rentals and hotels. Obviously distressed, we tried contacting Krystal to discuss our situation, leaving messages for the dealership manager Frank Todi and the owner, detailing what had happened and asking for a return call. When no one had the courtesy to call us back, we contacted Jeep Corporate for help. With their insistence, a service advisor from Krystal did call us back, and when I explained the situation what had happened, his answer was to deny that they would have done anything wrong. He said nothing about meeting with us when we returned to NY. We contacted Jeep Corporate to see what recourse we had, and they agreed to help us, and asked us to send them all our receipts so they could consider reimbursing us. After 1 month and numerous phone calls, we were finally told that Corporate does not get involved with reimbursements between customers and dealerships (despite what we were initially told). We have been forced to file a complaint with the NYS Attorney General's office to try to get reimbursed all the money we have paid for fixing damages that were caused by Krystal, because Krystal won't do the right thing and admit their mistake and reimburse us. So based on our experience, if you want a brand and dealership that stands behind it's work, is courteous to customers needs and cares how they are treated, do not EVER go to Krystal Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Warrensburg, NY. read more
