He said his tool to check was broken. I said fine, I'll buy a new one anyway, he asked me to pop the hood. Outside, he said he closes soon, so he won't help me install it. (batteries don't take 20 minutes to install) I asked for a screwdriver to pop off the air intake over the battery, and he walked inside and closed up without selling me the battery. AutoZone is supposed to be the store where they are friendly and help, but not tonight, not in Plainfield AutoZone.

He called beforehand asking if they had the very specific parts he needed. They said they did and we drove over a half an hour to get there. Turns out they had the slide hammer but didn't have the attachment for the axel, the CV AXEL PULL which made the entire thing useless and showed their lack of knowledge. We got there around 3:30 and they were closing at four. They seemed to just be rushing us out and didn't want to check the back for the parts. Basically they had zero knowledge and were clearly just trying to finish off their shift. We found Pep Boys near by to be incredibly helpful and will make sure to steer away from this company.
