Just completed my PALS certification at this location. Dr. Kahn was very knowledgeable and thorough in teaching this course. I left understanding all of the material. Any questions we had, he was able to answer. He did a really good job of making sure that everyone was on the same page and keeping up with whatever he was going over before going over new content. The facility also has a lab room where you can practice compressions, IO's, epi administration, among many other things. He gave us enough time to make sure everyone had a chance to familiarize themselves with everything. He also offered to open up the room again at the end of the class for anyone who wanted to stay longer and practice more. Overall, it was a great experience. I left feeling knowledgeable and extremely satisfied with the course. I am definitely coming back to this place for renewal of my other certifications when the time comes. Do not judge a book by its cover! Although the KSK Center in Redondo looks like an abandoned building upon arrival, Dr. Khan's class makes up for it tenfold! This is the epitome of watching someone master their craft and that inspirational feeling you get from how passionate he is. It doesn't even matter what level of nursing you are in, he explains the subjects in laymen's terms. And even then, he offers refresher courses for anybody who previously attended. This is extremely beneficial for anyone who is about to be taking their boards or even those who have already passed but may need help with interview skills to land their first job. One thing that truly inspired me was that he tells it like it is! He asked how many of us were LVNs in the class and he saw a few hands raise. And he continued saying yeah, do not become an RN wherever you are (with the exception of certain hospitals). The reason being is that he says if you get too comfortable, your growth will be hindered severely. He goes on further explaining that we may have already built a reputation for ourselves and friendships within our workplace. Basically, he wants us out of our comfort zones in order to realize our true potentials! ps. All I am saying is that KSK Training gave me the confidence and enhanced my knowledge more than enough to pass my NCLEX-RN. Dr.Khan is so humble and nice to all his student. I found this organization on YELP. I just left and I feel so motivated as an RN. Why? Dr. Khan is an amazing educator. He is very clear and competent in his knowledge. Enrolling and taking the N-CLEX Review was by far the best investment I could have ever made towards preparing me for the hardest test of my life. Dr. Khan to say the least is a diamond in the rough. I never imagined that 3 months of review would have resulted in boosting my confidence in believing I could do it around the holiday season. Before I knew it, 75 questions in I was done. I came here for the very affordably priced ACLS/ECG/Pharm combination and left really satisfied with the class. They also offer a group discount if you want to get people together from your school or work. Dr. Khan really emphasized all the important points that you need to take away from the class. There are snacks and drinks provided at the training center which is awesome, and on top of that Dr. Khan & Sylvia ordered pizza for lunch so you definitely don't have to worry about starving during the 8-hour combo class. Also we got out earlier than the stated 6pm end time, which is great. Once you've taken a class here, you are more than welcome to come back and sit in on that class for free whenever you want - just call them to see if they have any room for you. New grad here...so I decided to increase my marketability by adding ACLS and BLS to my resume. I did some research and found a couple of places that would allow me to check off these two boxes. Between KSK and one other place, I found KSK to be most suitable. After reading reviews from multiple sources, I was able to determine that although KSK was not the cheapest, the training would be high quality and the price was absolutely reasonable. I was not disappointed! The facility is well appointed, restrooms are clean, environment is quiet and perhaps most importantly, all safety protocols are in place. Sylvia works at the front desk and is very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. She makes the entire process starting with calling for information and in person registration quite smooth. As for instruction, Dr. Kahn clearly is knowledgeable and well informed. He genuinely cares about providing accurate information to people so that they may be able to save the life of another human being. This is not just a business for him, he has an obvious passion for teaching. He did not waste time with irrelevant side bar stories but still managed to make the content relevant and memorable. First of all I want to say that I highly recommend the training here at KSK with Dr. Khan. Quick background I am a nursing student and needed to take ACLS so I have decided to do it here because I have many nursing student friends who have done it here who also recommended to go here. They really like how the course is taught. They enjoy and loved it. Now I have done it too and I want to say that I did not regret coming here to get my ACLS with basic ECG and Pharm package course. It was so easy to sign up for a class, Sylvia was very welcoming and response very quickly to either phone call or email. KSK Training Center is the best place! Dr. Khan helped me pass the NCLEX with his biweekly review course. This is not the typical crash course. Dr. Khan uses the best resource that he knows will help students pass the NCLEX. I learned a lot from him and cannot wait to start using the information I learned from this course. Sylvia encouraged me to set my date and go take the test. She helped me with my anxiety and was emotionally there for me. I have gone to other crash courses and strategy classes, but none of them helped me as much as Dr. Khan's review. I have known KSK Training Center since their location used to be at Carson and I have heard good things from people who attend their classes, whether it be the NCLEX Review, IV Certification, BLS, ACLS, etc. The husband and wife duo by Dr. Khan and Ms. Sylvia Khan truly made KSK Training Center one of the most reliable, most up to date, and organized way to fulfill your certifications. The best thing you can do for yourself if you're in the medical field is to take Dr. Kahn's classes. He packages all that you need to know in small bundles and explains everything in a simple yet sophisticated way. I took his IV therapy and Phlebotomy classes and I enjoyed the experience because I know I learned it the right way.
