Delicious banh mi and only $10. The sandwich was huge and had so many fresh pickled vegetables (my favorite part).

This is a super tiny mom and pop bakery. I went round 4:30 and most of the entrees were not available. KT Special Sandwich was good. Mooncake is a tough item to find in Hartford. I tried the coconut mooncake. Chè bà ba is something new I tried. It is the dessert with 3 colors. It was something good to try. I am not a big fan of shaved ice though. Caramal pudding was a good item, and tasted similar to flan.

Cute little Vietnamese bakery. Freshly baked Steamed pork & shrimp buns chalk full of garlicky filling. Beautiful cakes sliced and ready to go. Got a slice of lemon had a white chocolate drizzle and nice lemon flavor, a slice of berry topped with nice tart raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. And a slice of pistachio also just as delicious. Also, love that they have Che which is an icy Vietnamese treat filled with mung beans grass jelly, kidney beans, coconut milk & red jelly coated water chestnuts sounds weird but its sweet and refreshing on a hot day. They also have Pho, Bahn Mi, Bun and crispy egg rolls. Which I can't wait to go back and try. The owner is so sweet also ask questions and she'll be happy to explain what the dishes are and what's in them.

    Also bubble tea!

You don't go to KT Bakery for the ambiance, but you definitely go for the Vietnamese sandwiches called banh mi. They are absolutely amazing! This tiny Vietnamese bakery makes the most delicious pork, chicken, or beef banh mi. They're filled with wonderfully spiced meats complimented by the crunchy goodness of picked vegetables and fresh cilantro. All of this yumminess is cradled in a fresh torpedo roll. They also make pho, and a couple of rice dishes, but as I am so in love with the banh mi, I've never had them! The place is teeny tiny with just two high top tables, but there is some outside seating. Don't judge this by the outside because this unassuming place is a real find. You'll thank me for this recommendation!

I look forward to trying more of this tiny bakery's wares. I stopped in only for some banh mi on a Sunday afternoon and the bakery was staffed by what appeared to be a mother and daughter team. The pork banh mi was delicious and an amazing deal at $4/per. The bread was crusty and airy, the vegetables were crisp and crunchy, and the meat was tender and tasty. I will definitely be returning to try other sandwich varieties in the future. The bakery also offers cakes and pastries; the tiramisu looked particularly tasty. My eye, however, was on the bao which I can't wait to try. Y

Only open for 4 months, this is the first, stand alone, Vietnamese Bakery in the Hartford area in the last 20 years. Yes, the Vietnamese/Asian markets carry baked goods but I'm excited to finally see one that caters to making traditional cakes and buns. So far so good. I was able to get a Banh mi, banh bao, and cha gio, all for under $12. I got the traditional banh mi with all the fixings: Cha lua, pate, and veggies. The bread is not a traditional baguette, a little more dense, not a bad thing, just more filling. I can't wait to post an updated review for their cakes. I usually have to drive to Boston or New York to get one.

Great, authentic banh mi sandwiches! We went on a rainy Saturday and the place was very small with limited seating (it had about 4 chairs) however if it's a nicer day, they do have a cute outdoor patio that people could eat on. My bf and I got the KT special banh mi (classic) and the chicken banh mi. SO DELICIOUS. The bread was perfect and the lady working there told us it's made fresh every morning. Good fillings as well. I'm already craving the next sandwich.

KT bakery has the most fantastic banh mi ever!! This is my go-to lunch spot in town because you can't beat the quality for the price. Each sandwich is made to order with care, and is bursting with the fresh flavors of cilantro and cucumber along with pickled carrots, onions and your meat of choice. He bread is so perfect and fresh with a wonderfully crisp exterior and a soft interior that basically melts in your mouth. This sandwich is perfect, no wonder it's on their sign out front!

Very good and authentic Vietnamese. Not really a restaurant, but there is some seating. Bread, cakes, banh mi, all fantastic so far.

My girlfriend told me about this spot last year and I finally made it. The ambiance was calming…read more And it was very clean inside. You just felt like you were about to order the healthiest meal. I was greeted by Sue, she was very friendly and helpful with me deciding what to purchase. I also tried one of their smoothies it was called "OMG". It was a very refreshing and satisfying. They have an huge assortment of smoothies, salads and you can build your own paninni and wraps and bowls. Sue helped me decide on what type of wrap I wanted, she stated that the the tomato basil is a popular one. I chose chicken for my protein and sweet water mixed greens, red onions, pico da galore and garlic aioli. This wrap was delicious. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy and they don't skimp on your choice of protein. I devoured that wrap and I look forward to returning and enjoying many more items from their menu. They have three locations. Please make your way to any of their three locations. You will not be disappointed. To all my Yelpers let's continue to eat our way through the world #foodie4life.

"She's like sweet water runnin' Baby, won't you come and…read moreGive a dyin' man a drink?" (Straight Lines) Sweetwater Salad Bar made a bad experience "good" today when they pivoted and made a great customer service decision. They have a deep menu with all sorts of customizable Smoothies, three kinds of toasts, and Wraps. We went for lunch today and decided on a "to go" order of their Avocado Toast. We paid our $5.84 and waited for the order to be assembled. After a few minutes, a manager approached us to say they couldn't make the avocado toast because they had run out of bread. Now... since you can't really make an Avocado Toast, Peanut Butter Banana Toast, or Hummus Toast without toast, and you can't really make toast without bread, we understood why they couldn't give us the order we had already paid for. But they made things right by offering us something else, so we opted for a chicken quesadilla which we received for no additional charge. The quesadilla was good with a nice mix of chicken and cheese. IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES Obviously, inventory management comes to mind, and if they run out of bread, that information should be conveyed to the entire staff so everyone is on the same page about what is and is not available, what can and cannot be made, and what should and should not be paid for.
