I've been going to this salon for just under a year. I can be very fussy and question a lot of what is going on. I like to search Pinterest for ideas. I was seeing Donna (spelled phonetically) who was very nice. I thought we had a good relationship. I would show her the art that I would like and she did a Wonderful job. My nails looked natural. The next to last time I saw her she suggested that I see Youn (phonetically) who was sitting next to us. She said that she is much better at art. I was kind of surprised but I figured I would try her art as well. That was a big mistake. I showed her 3 different pictures and she told me that they are photoshopped and cannot be done. By the time I got to the 4th I was getting aggravated and she said she will do the art. Her technique for the shape of the nail was horrendous. My nails looked like she blobbed the acrylic on my nails. She never even addressed my cuticles. When she was putting on the final coat, she had done 3 out of my 5 fingers. I mentioned to her that "you missed these 2". With a nasty reply she said, "I know how to do my job". At that point they lost a loyal customer to rude behavior. I understand they like speaking to one another in their own language but clearly my thoughts of Donna weren't what I thought. Been going here for a few years and have always been happy with the service until last year , the nail technicians are always grumpy and have really bad customer service skills. You can literally cut the tension in that place with a knife ...Now they're requiring for us to come in a half hour before our appointment scheduled time to soak off dip powder , I personally don't have extra time to be sitting around waiting for the dip to be removed. I called other nails salons and NONE of them do this. Be careful talking to the person sitting next to you because you get reprimanded for talking and god forbid you move your hand , the dirty looks you get. I've also noticed no one talks to the clients anymore it's all among themselves and in their language so you know damn well they're talking about you. Time to move on. After going around and around my boyfriend, frustrated, said "dude, give her a f**king refund." Obviously swearing isn't polite and he agreed he shouldn't have done it, but the owner immediately started yelling at us to "GET THE F**K OUT" and pushed my boyfriend in the back, then began chasing after us into the parking lot. There's literally a hair stuck in my polish that is already warped and chipped not even an hour after I left the salon. I've been here 3 times now, all for pedis, haven't had a bad experience at all. The people working there aren't over the top friendly but they're friendly enough for me. They have a large selection of colors to choose from, my only issue is that they cover up "gel" on the bottles with a sticker so that at the end when you go to pay they say "extra $5 for gel" when you thought you just selected a regular paint. My wife and I had the day off and made an appointment here. We both wanted pedicures and eyebrow waxing. We arrived on time for our appointment only to have to wait. We ended up spending two hours there as they could not get it together. The person who did my pedi was a young man/possibly still school-aged? I'm not convinced he was even certified. He was nice enough, but you could tell he had likely never done it before. It was not his fault that he was not trained properly. You could tell that they were just trying to get people in and out, but it was so disorganized. While I was there three people came in after me for pedicures and were completed before me. My wife was even done before me and had to wait exceptionally long for me to be done. Other members of his team were telling him what/how to do it. I barely had a fluff of an exfoliation, barely massaged and he literally had to paint my toe nails more than once since he kept messing up to the point where someone had to come and take over for him. I had to ask three times for them to cut my nails a little shorter because he didn't even cut them at first. Then when he did cut them he cut such a tiny bit that you could barely tell. He also started using the wrong coat on my nail one of the times he repainted it and the woman who ended up coming over to fix them, had handed him the correct coat (top vs. bottom coat?). Then when the women came and fixed them she literally took off the polish again! Then we got our eyebrows done and I got my lip done. The room was so dingy and dirty looking. My wife's eyebrows were rushed as the technician was aggressive and quick. When I went for my waxing after a pedi that left my feet freezing and lasted over 1.5 hours, it was also aggressive. The wax was literally slapped on my eyebrows to the point that I was afraid my eye lashes were going to get ripped off. When the was put on my upper lip, it was so haphazard that it went into my nose. I left the room and my wife looked at me in disbelief and told me I still had wax all over my face. Also, I know many people think it's at the "end" of COVID, but there were no mask regulating customers to have masks on, people were seated right next to each other and the space was just not clean. The "menus" that they give you to choose your service are not cleaned between customers, and neither is the pen at the front desk where you sign in. There was absolutely NO apologies for any of it. No offers of discounts, nothing. They charged us full price for this and we left paying $135 plus tip. I know that there are staffing issues with many places, but this was not a staffing issue. This was pure and simply a customer service/training/poor business practice issues. We had come here several years ago and did not have a good experience, but decided to give it another try. It ended up being a complete waste of two hours that we will never get back. It is competitive out there. Exceptional customer service is a must. I understand mistakes and training, but to not even acknowledge it is a real problem for me. It's also a problem when you read other reviews and seeing the owner reply in disrespectful and snarky ways. Believe me, the customer is NOT always right. That's not what I'm saying. I'm merely trying to express that there are many areas of improvement here. I didn't make a huge deal of it, ask for a discount, refuse to pay because I don't believe that would have helped plus I was exhausted and antsy after being there for two hours and not even having a relaxing experience. Since I had really long natural nails I chose dip manicure. They cut my nails to a perfect length and the ombré was perfect. I've been here many times, with an appointment for pedicures. I would have rated them 4* for this. Today I walked in mid-afternoon for a manicure, 1st time dip. No appointment. The attitude right from the beginning was disdain. Young girl "checking" people in should find another line of work. After having nails superglued, shoddily to my Fn fingers...I realize I've obviously made a mistake. What that "mistake" may have been is still not clear to me but here I sit with painful fingers. Don't walk in without an appointment if you're not a "regular". Dirty place tonight too. 1st and last manicure without an appointment. The woman doing my nails didn't introduce herself/had no name tag, didn't wear gloves and her fingernails were long and gross (literally brown) underneath. I was getting a gel manicure, and she was literally using her dirty fingernails to scrap excess polish off of the skin around my nails. YUCK. I have always taken off gel manicures on my own at my house but this time was like taking straight up cement off of my nails. After asking a few times very nicely to fix my crooked nail the owner physically ripped the drill out of the lady's hands doing my nails and screamed at me to get out. He proceeded to blame it on me "moving my finger" and "my finger being crooked". Anyone who gets their nails done knows your finger moves which ever way they are tugging it and positioning it at that time... As a polite and paying customer, it should be okay to make sure your nails look good. I have never experienced anything like this in my life, nor have I ever had a nail that crooked on my hand before. If I could give them no stars I would. I am appalled at how the owner chose to handle the situation let alone speak to a female the way he did as well as treat his employee that way. I love to get acrylics, and cozy nails in Lee is normally my go to, but sunday's they are closed. Went there today and came home to nail glue all over my fingers and i can't pick the rest off due to my nails. Nail polish is also specky on a couple of my nails. During my visit, a workers child was there for a little bit. My keys were to the seat beside me and the child was playing and touching my keys until i noticed and took them away. He was jumping around and yelling with his game music quite loud. The same worker was also very bossy and not to friendly. Not sure if i'll visit this place again. I've been to KT for two pedicures over the last couple months. Their gel pedicures are fast, comfy (they inquire often to ensure they're not hurting your toes) and last up to 60 days. The staff is very friendly and work hard to accommodate those who walk in. They also have a vast array of regular and gel polish colors to choose from. Their pedicure prices have gone up by $10, but so have many other salons nearby. I def recommend them if you're in the Dover area. read more

I've been here twice- my first experience wasn't terrible, but the customer service left much to be desired. The second time- I went in for Dip nails and it was fairly busy. The guy nail technician was doing the "greeting" and "scheduling" while working on someone's nails. (If 'what do you want' counts as a greeting.) I needed to get my previous nails off and first of all they made me sit at a station for about 20 minutes before anyone came over. Someone eventually did and did just one hand with the acetone and tin foil. I sat there for 30 MINUTES before anyone came back to do the rest. Then I sat for ANOTHER 30 minutes before someone came over and started working on them. Then that person left to help someone else and I sat there for another 10-15 minutes. By the time the third and last person came over, she was extremely rough with the tools she was using and rushed through the whole process. My nails came out looking like shit and have very obvious bumps and creases. Never coming here again. read more
