The ExtraCare system kept booting me out like I was trying to hack the Pentagon, but the staff never acted annoyed. They were patient, kind, and just as frustrated as I was. Today, one of the managers actually took the time to go full FBI forensic analyst on my account and finally fixed it. Honestly, I could go to KTA or Foodland, but I keep coming back because this place still has that small-town village vibe where people know you and genuinely care. The pharmacists have personally called me about medication interactions, helped with refill issues, and even contacted my provider for me when prescriptions got stuck in bureaucratic limbo. The cashiers have also saved me money by pointing out better deals before I checked out, which in this economy deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Corporate really should invest more into this location because the staff is fantastic. Maybe start with better coolers before the beer reaches "lightly simmered" status. Good people. Professional, down to earth, and genuinely caring.

For example, they don't clean the key pad or the pen used for most transactions. The associates dont wear masks and are in close proximity with each other, and with a hundred potentially very ill people daily. I commented and the reply was 'we dont have to'. Associates hand product to a customer, customers maybe hand it back with germy hands. i watched as someone wiped their nose then handed money over. So..I called the company and they had someone call me back. Reply? 'well if you dont like it take your business elsewhere.' no kidding. So..be very afraid. Literally any other pharmacy just calls the current one it is at to get the name of the prescription. So I found the name, and the lady put me on hold. The pharmacist came on the phone and then said that he is too busy, he needs me to call Longs (when Longs asked for them to do it), and then hung up on me. Great customer service for when people are sick.
