Came here for some good authentic pho & we were not let down. It was so delicious & had lots of noodles. The meat was cooked beautifully. Wow. I went here last week with one of my friends after a long study session, and it was a wonderful experience. Not only were the workers very kind, but the host (or owner?) was very friendly and funny. It was also very cozy in the restaurant, which was built upon by the coziness of the delicious meal. Koreatown seriously lacks in quality Vietnamese food. Ktown Pho is a rare spot that lives up to standards. We mostly ordered takeout as the inside of the restaurant is small and quaint, but we always experienced excellent service at this location. Delicious pho with perfectly springy noodles. I had the seafood in vegan broth and it truly hit the spot. There are various options, including for vegans. Service was polite and helpful. The atmosphere was calm and quiet when we arrived, but got busier at the lunch rush. The pho ga was a nice and light broth with good flavors, good noodles texture, and good overall toppings and ingredients. The service was attentive and polite, the interior was a medium sized restaurant with good amount of seating, and it was pretty good overall. Stopped into Ktown Pho because I was craving a banh mi. I believe it's only street parking but luckily I was able to snag a spot nearby. The restaurant is very casual and gives off "hole in the wall" vibes. I ordered the pork banh mi and it was delicious! I really loved that the meat had no chewy or fatty pieces and the bread was perfectly fresh. My only complaint is that I wish the sando had a bit more meat, but at $10 I can't complain! Ambiance can only be described as "tight" (and not how teens use that word "that experience was tight!"). It is a very small service area, and to my knowledge, a wait for a table is not uncommon. A small pho restaurant located in Korean town, hence, the name! Everyone there is extremely welcoming, service was wonderful. The pho portion is extremely generous, so I do recommend you go on an empty stomach. I live that you can request for extra toppings and they aren't stingy! Broth is rich in flavor and they have all the sauces to add to your liking. Now that's it's getting cold out, I will be visiting more often. Im very dissatisfied in the experience I had today. Ive been coming here for 4 years bringing all my visiting guest for amazing food but unfortunately the service no longer lives up to the food. Today everything was off. Despite the fact we agreed to sit in the hallway since everything else was occupied our table wasnt set up our silverware came after our food. The drink were the last thing served and when we asked for hot sauce they brought out the tiniest portion when every table had a station with sauces. Where do I even begin? My friend and I came into this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon (4pm-ish) and it was slow. There were allegedly no tables available so we were told to put our names down. We waited about 7-10 mins and were sat. We each ordered the House Pho since it seemed to be the most popular dish, as well as an order of Spring Rolls. The waiter who was attending to us repeated our order which was (2) bowls of House Pho, Spring Rolls, and (2) beverages. When the food came out we only received one of the Pho dishes and one beverage. We asked to follow up on our additional soup and beverage only to the waited to tell us that we had only ordered one soup dish and one drink. We were very confused since he had repeated the order to us before sending it to the kitchen. The soup itself was lukewarm and flavor of the broth wasn't necessarily extraordinary. Similar to what others have written, it lacked flavor and tasted watered down. Pho should be packed with flavor and hot. The quality of meat was okay, but don't think I'll be going back. I wish I had nicer things to say about this place, but everything was disappointing. TLDR; overhyped, lacks flavor, and overpriced. read more

The pho was rich, flavorful, and comforting, and the egg rolls were crispy and fresh with great flavor. The soda lemonade was also a standout super refreshing and a great complement to the meal. I'm really sad to write this because we've genuinely liked Ktown Pho in the past, but after today we won't be back. While we were still eating, a staff member named Alejandro started sweeping right next to our table. We asked him politely if he could just wait a couple of minutes until we were finished because it isn't hygienic to have dust flying around your food, but he refused. To make matters worse, he then started calling out to other customers to ask if he was bothering them. It was completely unnecessary and created an embarrassing scene while we were just trying to finish our meal. When we contacted management, we just got a lot of excuses. We were told that they try to hire people who might struggle to find work elsewhere. While we can appreciate a good mission, it shouldn't come at the expense of basic customer service or a clean eating environment. It's a shame, but the way this was handled by both the staff and management was just unacceptable. We won't be returning. read more
