Dr. Lamoureux did a very brief visual check standing several feet away from me. The brown laser treatment did nothing. I paid a lot of money for this and am extremely unhappy with the outcome. In addition, I saw another dermatologist today who told me I was not the first person to be unhappy with Skindermatology. Do NOT recommended this practice.

I was told I would not be trusted to not have intercourse during accutane treatment. I have several…read morehealth reasons why I am unable to be on any hormonal birth control, and was told there was "no way" I'd be able to not engage in intercourse with my husband for 6 months. To me, this means the practice does not trust women. the doctor also said she "doesn't want an abortion on her conscience." So instead i was prescribed two medications to try that both required prior authorization for coverage. The person who deals with these issues told me there was "no way to get coverage." When i Called CVS Caremark, they said they just needed 2 prior authorizations and an appeal. When I asked the person to Please check their info before calling me, they basically gaslighted me and said they "got the doctor to take time out of her busy schedule to do peer to peer with the doctor on their end." im sorry, but we are all busy. putting that guilt on the patient is so wrong. If you are dealing with hormonal acne ,id suggest finding a different Provider.

He told me that my skin tags were nothing to be concerned about but that I could pay $75 to have them all removed. My next provider identified one as a wart and then removed it and send it out to be certain it wasn't pre-cancerous. He also told me to put Vaseline on a raw spot that I had been concerned about for months. My next provider did a biopsy and found it to be a basal cell carcinoma (along with a second spot that was not as obvious). If you're looking for a thorough and invested dermatologist I suggest you look elsewhere.

The services I received from this company were honestly dangerous and left me with long-term health…read moreproblems. I was having severe side effects from IVIG, including chest pain, trouble breathing, high BP and losing consciousness. The nurses tried their best to advocate for me to lower my rate, but pharmacy would not allow them to do so, and kept pushing for them to maintain the rate that was causing these side effects. Pharmacy would continue to coerce me to continue, saying that I would lose access to IVIG entirely if I didn't. At one point nurses wanted me to stop completely and call 911, that is how bad my side effects were. Pharmacy would not allow them to stop and said they must continue at that rate, despite symptoms that put me at risk of stroke or heart attack. I later come to find out that the rate I was on is not normal for new patients to IVIG, and that this rate is normally reserved for patients who have been on IVIG for years and developed tolerance. I now suffer with severe and constant migraines as well as chronic hypertension as a result of this, and will suffer from these symptoms permanently as a result of their carelessness and selfishness. They simply wanted me on a higher rate so they could save money, as a faster rate means nurses are not paid to be at my house as long. And because of this selfishness I am now permanently disabled by migraines and hypertension. I also spent the summer I was on IVIG with Kabafusion in and out of the hospital, I was in the ER 3 times and they still refused to lower the rate that I was clearly not tolerating

This company does not like the word NO and will not take it as an answer even from patients who decide Kabafusion is not for them as they will be continually hounded and harassed by the sales department until they have no choice but to accept this company as their infusion provider.
