So I didn't stay in this hotel but: I came here for dinner hoping to check out the rooftop bar and ended up having dinner downstairs/going through the lobby. Turns out the rooftop hotel bar ("The Cloudveil") is only opened during the peak summer months, and I came late May 2026 and was informed that unfortunately they weren't opened yet. The hotel isn't very tall but none of the buildings around Jackson square are, so I'm sure from the rooftop bar you'd get a gorgeous view over the square! That said - the hotel lobby is lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby bathrooms are immaculate. If you eat at the attached restaurant on the ground level (adjacent to the lobby), it's a wonderful experience. Overall, I don't know how the rooms are in this hotel, but all the other features (restaurant, location, theoretical rooftop bar that wasn't open yet) are all excellent. I'd come back just to eat at the bistro alone, so it's certainly a place I'd consider staying . read more

Really loved my stay at The Cloudveil in Jackson. The hotel feels genuinely luxurious and the location is perfect for walking around town. The service stood out right away, especially how pet friendly they were. They brought my dog a bed and water bowl for the room which was such a thoughtful touch and made the stay feel even more welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere was cozy and upscale, and the hot tub was honestly one of the highlights after a long day out. The bed is super comfortable the shower is luxurious and the snacks near the elevator are delicious.the room came with a daily event and fancy local toiletries. There is a nespresso machine in the room but they also have snake river roasters coffee in the lobby from 5-9. The hot tub outside is the perfect temperature even on a freezing cold night. After 3 nights of staying at a cabin at the Yellowstone Hotel, we had a much needed stay at a proper hotel stay at The Cloudveil. The lobby was inviting. Our room was spacious and very well appointed with a modern ski lodge decor. Much attention was paid to the finishing details including leather-wrapped trimmings to the furniture and fixtures. The bathroom is very laid out with a 2-person shower stall and a separate toilet room. We are most impressed with the little things like complimentary water bottles. Another great experience at an Autograph Collection. While planning our Wyoming trip, there were a few hotel choices for us. We decided on cloud veil because of its location and let's just say best choice ever! Each floor has a snack bar - chips, trail mix, goldfish mix, hot chocolate mix, tea, water stations and La croix. Nice hotel with an even better Roof Top Bar that we were able to enjoy. We went for a couple of drinks after dinner and was able to enjoy our time before the wind picked up. Amazing modern property. Well kept. Pretty good staff. Very expensive-- and they still Price gouge on top of room rates: 1. Required $39 Pantry fee-- NOT disclosed when booking that you learn about when checking in. This is unethical and dishonest. $500+ night hotel this should be comp'd like other Marriott properties. They cater to rich folks and the tone is you're a peasant if you care about $40. 2. Parking is $35+tips/day or good luck finding street parking. It's a multi level hotel without a clean main entrance to pull up with a vehicle and download bags-- stairs everywhere, so it'll be difficult with rolling suitcases or guilt tip/pay their porter $20 in and $20 out for help with bags. Valet + help with bags builds in another $50-$75 per day. 3. Hotel Bistro Restaurant. On website advertises entrees BOGO $2, but when you show up it ended last week-- of course it did. Classic unethical bait and switch. Only peasants care about $40 dinner gouge. Food was OK, but was overpriced. Drinks are $10-$25! 4. Advertised $50/day Marriott Food and Beverage credit applies to breakfast only-- not lunch, dinner or drinks that is the norm everywhere else. Shenanigans and a not clearly articulated gouge. Beautiful hotel--- but don't appreciate the gouges, especially the unethical ones--- definitely management policies and pressure on customer egos at play here. We stayed here one night on our way up the mountains. I'm not a huge fan of hotels but as far as hotels go this is at the top. If you're going to stay in a hotel, stay in an Autograph Collection Marriott. The room was clean and smelled nice without smelling like chemical cleaners or perfumes. The linens were nice. The lobby was unique to the Jackson Hole area. They had bulk snacks for hikers in the hallways. Not just bags of chips/fruit etc. But bulk trail mix that you could bag up and take with you on your hike, that was a nice touch for this area where everyone is very active/hiking. read more

For the most part I really liked this hotel. The location is great and as other reviewers have mentioned, it has a Cowboy Chic style to it. It's definitely the most modern option in the area. They had really nice touches like a hot tea station and complimentary snacks and La Croix sparkling water. The lobby was quite bustling and they put on fun events and pop-up shops. And they have a real wood burning fireplace! Valet was always ready to get our car and house keeping was fairly good. They forgot to give us new water glasses and coffee mugs one day and I had to call down for them though. Something that really made the stay not perfect was their AC system. The air would blow super cold in the middle of winter and there was no way to turn it off from the room. Each of the four nights we stayed I had to call down to the front desk and ask them to turn it off manually from their control system. We finally just started using the small opening in the window to cool off the room because it was such a hassle to turn off the AC. The fireplace was a really nice touch, but it didn't have a thermostat, so it would make the room super hot, hence needing the AC or an open window in the middle of winter. But the fireplace was an amazing touch to the room. Made it super cozy! We ate one night at The Bistro to dry hamburgers with hard fires and a burnt bun. But the room service bacon and eggs were good. The Bistro's chocolate croissant was hard and stale one morning and fresh and soft another. There was also no coffee service in the lobby. We were told upon check-in they would have coffee until 7am. But there was none. The guy at the front desk was nice enough to go get me a cup at 6 AM. But I usually drink more than one cup and just wanted a coffee station. The Bistro didn't open until 7 AM, so my options were slim and the Nespresso machine in the room was so incredibly loud, I couldn't use it without waking my boyfriend who sleeps in later than me. I loved the modern bathroom and large shower with amazingly powerful shower head. The toiletries offered also smelt great! They also made my hair look good! However, the outlets all went out in the bathroom and despite asking the hotel to fix it, they never did. So I had to blow-dry my hair with an outlet by the fireplace. The bed was super comfortable, as Marriott brand hotels often are. And they had feather pillows upon request that were equally as comfortable. I'd say overall this hotel pulled at my heartstrings a bit. At times I loved it and at times I was frustrated with it. But I do think it is the most modern option in the area and the staff is super friendly. I would recommend springing for a room above just the basic. We did the least expensive option and the view outside the room was of the alley and construction of another building. Not the prettiest sight for a snowy morning in Jackson Hole! But the room itself was modern like the rest of the hotel and I loved the Cowboy Chic style! read more

I love this hotel. It very very nice and the service was very nice. They gave me a wolf stuffed animal and even the valet parking was very quick with the cars. The shower and the bathroom were giving me some mountain vibes. The beds were so comfortable and they even gave us water bottles! They also had complimentary snacks on every floor too! Hands down the nicest and hippest hotel in Jackson. The aesthetic of this property is dreamy. Think chic cowboy. Location: The Cloudveil is right off the main square. This is the place you want to be in Jackson and is in the centre of it all. Employees: Very kind, sure there are a few hiccups, but the property has only been open for four weeks. I encountered nothing but gracious above and beyond service standards Rooms and common areas: I have to admit I love those chic hotels with a modern feel. The Cloudveil delivers in a different way you probably haven't seen before. There is clearly a Wyoming, cowboy vibe, but it's modern and fresh. I had a one bedroom suite and let me tell you. You'll be giddy when you walk into the room and I've stayed at alot of hotels. The tub, amazing, the shower amazing, the bed, an engulfing cloud.... too many highlights to mention. Wonderful expresso machine for your morning coffee... and a refrigerator drawer... to store your snacks. I will tell you we did have to wait about an hour for our room (we arrived about 3:00 PM.) but listen, when you're at a place like this... go and sit at the bar, have an appetizer and enjoy. The staff was kind enough to buy us a really lovely cocktail and took our numbers and texted when our rooms were ready. Bonus: As you get off the elevator they have a little station with chilled La Croix and snacks like granola bars. These are touches that distinguish a 5 star and a 5 star PLUS property. Stayed here in December of 2022. This hotel is right where you want to be when you go to Jackson Hole - Wyoming. It is right there!! Right walking distance to the small little town! I had one of their best hotel rooms. It came with a balcony, big screen tvs, in room fireplace. There is a good restaurant in the Lobby and if you need to go anywhere beyond walking distance they have a free shuttle service- just tip the driver! Rooms aren't huge but I love all the western cowboy touches. Fridge drawer is keeping our beverages cold. Had to ask to change rooms due to noise and the gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic about the issue with our first room (115) which back up to the lobby bathrooms. Unfortunately if you're in that room you'll hear toilets flushing constantly. We were moved to the third floor at the fat end of the hall and it's much quieter. They even sent up a bottle of wine as a gift YIR the inconvenience. Staff here is truly amazing. read more

We went up there for Father's Day weekend. CloudVeil was well positioned to enjoy the best of Jackson and of course proximate to Tetons. The concierge was great and helped set up a couple excursions and transport to/form airport. The location right on the square was really nice with a birdseye view of the Saturday night (?) gunfight and rooftop terrace for evening drink (well, it was cold and rainy so that part did not meet expectations but was not the cloudveil's problem.). The pool / fitness area was a bit underwhelming but with all the hiking and cycling opportunists maybe its right to say, who cares. There is free snack food on each floor which is kind of different. We stayed 3 nights using marriot points and i woudl do so again, with points. The rack price, $1000/night was high and i would say the hotel does not justify that. At that amount it is in the Ritz and above range and the hotels is not that. read more

Staff could care less about guest satisfaction. Workers started drilling outside our room at 10 and didn't stop until 5:45 pm. This made it impossible for our daughter to nap in the afternoon. When we talked to the manager he tried to say it wasn't their property. The workers were standing on our balcony and it was clearly the property. The only open room they had was the one next to us which they obviously left empty because of the construction. We like to venture out but ended up coming back early to use the pool and amenities after dinner. We had breakfast and lunch at the bistro and would highly recommend checking it out. Tony, the manager of this establishment, is flat out dishonest. I was at Springhill Suites and realized I had made a mistake in my reservation so we ended up not having a room available. Matt at Springhill was very nice and said he had a partner hotel that had a room available. He said to talk to Tony and he would take care of us. When I got to Cloudveil I was greeted by a very nice employee who got Tony to come out and speak with me. Tony was rude. He acted as if I was beneath him. He said that Matt had actually connected me with Mountain Modern. That is a motel and not at all what we had planned on. I talked with Matt again and he said that Tony had lied to me. This is for all my Platinum and Ambassador Marriot reward members. The photos of the hotel on the Marriot website made the hotel look like a lovely establishment in its own location. So, it was disappointing to arrive to a hotel crammed between other buildings. Not only that, as high Tier members: parking and food are usually covered by Marriot hotels and elite individuals are usually reserved the nicest room. So, you can imagine my shock when the hotel manager said I had to pay $34 dollars/day for parking and gave me an average space. This place was not worth the hotel points I put in. There was no special view, special location, special treatment for being an elite member when I could've paid 1/2 if not 1/3 the price for the Marriot down the street. Other than it's interior design, it really has nothing going for it. Because I was there during the off season, the hotel closed all of it's guest bonuses such as buses to Yellowstone, etc. A bizzare thing to me as well, was being charged $3 for using the bottle of lotion in the bathroom when there was no sign that there was an associated charge. Not worth the points. Not worth the price. Go to the other Marriot in town. read more

A MUST READ: I'm here--now.. this is a live review. 1st NOTE: I want NO money, NO refund or NO adjustment or NO reply from management.. 2nd NOTE: I prepaid 500 a night in advance of getting here--I can afford it and the price is of no object to me what so ever. 3rd NOTE: I know Jackson like the back of my hand and understand the lay of the town and how Jackson is and how it operates. I'm not a novice to Jackson or Wyoming and certainly not to the company that owns the Hotel, as I have stayed in their properties in many places--but this is the first time to the "Autograph" collection. The place looks very nice--sort of upscale in the center of Jackson--there's a nice Bistro and upscale bar and a lobby that's pretty appealing. Everyone is nice.. After that it goes straight into the ditch.. you are told right up front by Valet that if you park "anywhere on the entire street" that runs parallel to the Hotel, that you will ticketed and towed and you are reminded again inside at check in--but you CAN pay a valet charge to park your car, OR you can go 2 blocks away to public parking, OR you can go to another lot they own 2 streets away.. OK.. that's the 1st rub--so I go to the OTHER side of the street and park and the Valet says you're good there--so, in other words it's a "hustle" to get more money through parking--alright, i'm still in a good mood even though it's a total hustle--and at 500/night they should valet it for free and kiss your ahz while doing it. NEXT: If you want water or amenities you have to go OUTSIDE of your room to the elevator area to get water (there's not even "1" bottle in your room) that pure bullsh_t and a cost cutting measure some bean counting accountant came up with during design--PERIOD. Who wants to either load up on the way TO your room after a long drive, OR go back after settling into your room to a public area to get water or refreshments--are you kidding me?? PUT WATER in the room. NEXT: I go to the heating and air conditioning system after a walk around downtown Jackson with my WIfe (it was sunny and hot today) and I turned on the AC, as the room temp was 76 degrees inside my room--the air didn't come on.. I thought, it may take a minute--I go back later and it's not on--so I cycled it through "off, heat and ac"--no change--NOTHING.. So, I call the front desk and tell them the AC doesn't work--the Lady on the desk gives me a scripted answer, that ALL the rooms are on the SAME system and cannot be changed individually and that they would have to send up a tech to "change the AC system" to turn it on.. In other words it is NOT broken but DESIGNED to not be adjustable.. I thought WTF??!! I said "do whatever you have to do, I want AC".. About 30 minutes later, "knock knock knock".. A tech with a ladder is standing at the door--a NICE guy--and we talk for a moment and he explains again that the entire system is symbiotic and NOT individualized to each room--I said "what?" You mean to tell me that I have to call you guys to turn on the AC??" He said Yes sir.. (again he is VERY NICE) I tell him straight up--"your not the problem, your nice--but the notion that I would have to call to gain permission to turn on my AC is ridiculous".. He tries to explain it away but I tell him I want AC.. He says ok and has to bring the ladder into the bathroom and through a trap door he changes the flow and "allows" AC to come on in my room.. I thought, ARE YOU KIDDING?? As he finishes, I asked him "So, if later on tonight I want heat, do I have call you back here up to turn on the heat? and he said YES... I thought to myself, WTF??!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? A 500/night hotel has to GIVE ME PERMISSION AND COME MANUALLY CHANGE the desired room settings?? This is an OUTRAGE and yet another bean counter stupid F'ing accountant decision, made long ago during DESIGN of the Hotel. I can stay in a 2 star Holiday Inn where I can change my room temp AT WILL, anytime I want to and I do NOT have to gain permission, OR worse yet, get an interruption INSIDE MY ROOM by having a tech come up INTO MY ROOM, to turn on the AC/Heat flow-who the hell is making decisions during design? What committee approved such a STUPID, idiotic cost cutting design?? There is NO good reason for it--period. Who am I to challenge or question their reason..? I'll tell you who I am--I am a Fortune 100 C Suite Exec who spends money and travels.. I am an Exec who WOULD FIRE unceremoniously, ALL parties involved with such a LUDICROUS design and "cost cutting" agenda--fire ALL of them--I don't care if it goes to the TOP of the Company--BLOW OUT all people would agree to treating Customers like this--quickly. I have managed huge retail platforms ALL over America and I've seen these types of cost cutting measures discussed in Board meetings and anyone who does this, should be FIRED TOP DOWN post haste. read more

Not 100 percent perfect but close. Lovely upscale King room with a much used gas fireplace which warmed the cool October stay without the need to put on HVAC. We had a balcony with a view of rooftops and a mountain in distance. It was lovely to crack the sliding door for a bit of fresh air and listen to the whistling wind a couple of nights. Hotel is located in the thick of town with a coffee and ice cream shop a few steps away as well as many fantastic restaurants ($$$$) and retail shops. Everyone is so cordial here. If I were to improve the room, I'd have had heated bathroom floors and better lighting in the bathroom. Rain head shower had great water pressure!! Speaking of, the local tap water is divine! Bring your skin moisturizer! Great coffee maker and spacious refrigerator drawer as well as 4 diff trail mixes and seltzer water provided on each level. Shout out to the Concierge VICTORIA for her friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness. The Valet staff were friendly and held the doors or helped us get gear out of car every day. Fitness gym has weights, cardio including peloton bikes and a lulu lemon mirror. Beautiful courtyard area with good looking pool and large hot tub. Robes and slippers in room. This hotel deserves much higher rating than five stars. I have stayed at a number of luxury hotels in Jackson and around the world but this hotel leaves the others in the dust. Rooms are beautiful and clean. At the end of every hallway are life size video images of Jackson wildlife. Every floor has a snack bar station with fresh hot and cold water to make tea beverages. The decor throughout the hotel is beautiful. As you walk down the hallways you fell the outdoors from aspen trunks to tree bark laser cut to frame the doors. The rooms and hallways are so clean and fresh you could eat off the carpets. Somehow they have managed to maintain a full house keeping staff to keep this hotel in immaculately clean shape. Your going to need reservations to eat at the restaurant. We had diner and breakfast and the food and service was five stars! It's location of this hotel is perfectly located on the corner of Jackson Square and from the roof top bar you can watch the famous Jackson Hole cowboy shoot out from the roof top every day at 6pm! The roof top is designed for events with heated floors and moveable canopy. Drinks are good and strong to where you need the elevator vs stairs on the ride down. Parking is in the back of the hotel and offers great valet service. This will forever be out hotel when we visit family in Jackson. Well done Marriott! read more

Stayed 3 nights in July. The town was very busy. The hotel didn't seem too busy. Dog friendly is a plus. Ordered room service first night. It came very quickly and was so good from the Bistro. Crappy wine selection though. They have free La Croix and snacks in each hallway. Gym was clean and empty. Rooms were clean and had lots of storage. The lobby decor was western cool. A beautiful new property, unfortunately, the soft product is subpar, and not yet ready. We stayed here in June 2021, 12 days after it opened its doors. We pulled into the front of the hotel, no one welcomed us, offered direction or helped with our bag. At the front desk, we encountered Kelly in the front desk who had the worst attitude I encountered on any property, and not what I expect at this level. She informed us there was no free public overnight parking available nearby, so valet was our only option. Later we found that there is a public lot with free parking for up to 48 hours nearby. I am OK with paying for valet, but not for being provided misinformation. Also, our room was not ready when we checked in at -4:45 pm despite the 4 pm check-in time. Kelly was very defensive, saying that many high-level elites were checking out late, causing our rooms not to be ready on time. I probably would have been more understanding if I had not encountered her attitude. Also, no bell service in the front of the hotel; you need to drive to the back to see the valet (and no bell person). You need to figure it out yourself, as there were no directions, and the staff was either overwhelmed or clueless. Bottom line, I would not go back here until there is a sign of service improvement to meet expectations, especially for a property at this brand and level. read more

This hotel is nice but if you are assigned room 110 turn and run. This room is right next to the kitchen for the restaurant and the service entrance. It is incredibly noisy at night. The hotel is aware of it and is still assigning guest to this room. Not the kind of service you expect from this hotel. read more

Love the decor. Sort of industrial, digital cowboy chic. Shower has both rainhead and wand. Nespresso in every room. Greeted with free refillable souvenir water bottles. Each floor has a selection of snacks, coffee, tea, LaCroix you can take on your activities. Lobby is cozy and service is friendly and nice. Did not try the pool area but looks nice. Really one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at, but I tend to prefer the understated boutique type over the opulent luxury-style ones when using a premium one. read more

Incredible hotel. Great location, great amenities, great service. Does all the big and small things really well, in a western ambiance. Very thoughtful touches. Extremely friendly. Type of place that keeps you wanting to come back. Kudos! read more
