I got my usual chicken salad, which has french fries and lots of veggies. As usual, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It was average at best. My wife saw an advertisement on Facebook last week for a BBQ they apparently have annually. My wife wasn't feeling good that day, so I went down to make us both a plate since we only live 5 minutes away. When I showed up there was absolutely no one there. Maybe there should have been a clue, I asked what was going on and the people there said "I think we advertised it a little too late". I made us both a plate with pulled pork, some rigatoni pasta, potato salad, macaroni salad, some Oriental noodles, and grabbed a couple of cookies for dessert. I had our dinner as soon as I got home with my wife, The pork was bland, the pasta was very unremarkable, potato salad average at best, oriental noodles slightly spicy, but nothing would have been anything I would go back for or like. The next day I started feeling quite ill. I brushed it off a little bit and figured maybe I had caught something. As the day went on my digestive problems worsened, that evening I had a fever, the next day I ended up in the St Clair hospital emergency room. They ran a number of tests, and today one of them came back that I was positive for E Coli. I'm assuming I'll now get a call from the Allegheny County health department. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
