Always love coming to this place, not only for the mouth watering fully packed bowls of ramen, but also for the friendly service by the owners and the clean open spaced ambiance. We've tried all flavors of ramen, but my personal favorite is the Mr Tonkatsu. I just add a very tiny bit of the complimentary chili oil (be careful cuz this stuff is no joke) and I feel like it is the perfect flavor savory and spice! The Spicy brisket is also really good, but also already pretty spicy on its own. Also, ramen noodles are made fresh in house every morning! We usually get the crispy crunchy chicken karrage as an appetizer, but we decided to go with the juice gyoza today! A nice place to stop in for a quick ramen fix!!!

Walked in and greeted with a smile! Smells like Bbq. We ordered Ramen pork belly and two meat ribs and brisket plate with chili beans and Mac n cheese to share. Food is ordered at counter but delivered to your table. They offer slushees. Strawberry, passion fruit and a green version. lol forgot flavor Everything was very flavorful. Since we had all three smoked meats I thought they tasted the same. Beans were too Smokey tasting. Mac n cheese can never go wrong. Chili oil is hotttt! Country music is playing in the background. The place is really clean. So is the restroom There's about four tables with chairs and a bar seating with about five chairs in the back.

Have seen so many people talk about how amazing the bbq is so my husband and I stopped in today. Unfortunately the first red flag for me was them using a microwave to heat up my food. We ordered the brisket, pork belly, Mac n cheese and chili beans. The brisket had good flavor, was tender and juicy but still needed bbq to give it that extra kick. The pork belly was okay but greasy in my opinion The Mac n cheese was inedible. It was literally buttered noodles with barely any flavor with cheese and oil floating at the bottom of the dish. The chili beans had amazing flavor but unfortunately the beans weren't cooked! They were still very chewy not cooked through all the way. I wanted to like this place so bad but unfortunately it fell flat.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. It's located in a strip mall with ample parking. Restaurant is a bit misleading though, because the signage on the windows, states BBQ. I had to do a double take to ensure I was at the right location. Apparently, the restaurant also serves BBQ in addition to the ramen. Restaurant was very clean and menu is quite simple. The restaurant owner was extremely friendly and helpful with helping me choose a ramen bowl. I settled for the Shoyu Chashu ramen bowl. It consisted of a soy sauce bone broth with thick cut Chashu. Chashu is a popular Japanese dish made of slow braised pork belly. The broth was a bit spicy but I still added some chile oil to kick it up a notch. The pork belly had just enough fat to lend some extra flavor to the broth. The pork belly had some smokey flavor and it complemented the broth nicely. The ramen noodle are handmade and made fresh by the owner. The gyoza served hot and very flavorful. Overall, I recommend this restaurant and I look forward to eating here again.

Ramen in Hanford? This place does pretty well. It's kind of fusion ramen, they use smoked brisket, corn and cilantro in the bowl but it works. The noodles and broth were authentic and delicious. It's family owned and the service was great. Clean restaurant that shares space with a bbq spot. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

The food tastes really oily, and cheap. The image of the food looks good but taste wise it's whatever. It's very pricey for the quality of food you get. I wouldn't really go again.

Hands down some of the best ramen I've had. Broth is savory and packed full of flavor. Noodles and everything else is just so damn good. Pork gyoza is solid and the sauce they give just helps to compliment it. Wait staff is nice and friendly and the environment is just perfect for this place. I had a few of my co workers bbq and it was solid for sure! Give it a try and get fat like I did with the ramen!

Decided to try this little ramen spot out since it's right next to little Caesar's. And who doesn't like ramen? Ramen was so good we came back twice, and when we came back they added bbq to their menu. So of course we had to try that too. Let's just say everything we've gotten so far is good and definitely worth a try. The shop is ran by two elderly couple (I assume, I didn't ask). Seems to be family owned and they are so sweet. Food doesn't take too long to come out either. The meats are very tender and juicy.

Surprisingly tasty ramen in a small town. Personally found the classic ramen to be tastier than the other noodle dishes. I've done only take out and everything was always packed well. The owner is extremely nice and passionate about her work. 10/10 for service. It should be noted that the toppings were fresh for both noodle dishes. However hardboiled egg wouldn't be my preferred option and I hope they consider changing it to soft boiled. *Mr. Tonkotsu: bone broth with thick cut chashu. Creamy and beef soup with perfectly al dente noodles. The chashu was sweet and tender. The meat quality and execution had to be in my top 3 of all chashu. *Summer Brisket: sweet cold buckwheat noodles with smoked brisket. The buckwheat noodles were chewy and stretchy. The brisket had intense smoky flavor and was similarly tender. The only issue was the broth being cloyingly sweet. I wished there was vinegar or mustard to provide a depth in flavor and to offset the sugar. A gem in Hanford and the folks are lucky to have a such a tasty spot for lunch and dinner.

First time at Kuma Ramen and it did not disappoint! I knew I wanted the miso ramen but really wanted the bbq chicken curry so that's what I subbed for with the miso. I'll tell you it was a brilliant decision. Add the chili oil on top and it was chefs kiss. The miso broth was perfectly salty and savory all the veggie ingredients were fresh and added a nice crunch. The bbq curry chicken was tender and delicious. I'll be back

Okaasama is doing her thing at this Ramen spot. I loved seeing her incredible noodle making machine and all the 50 lb bags of flour stacked up. You can taste and feel the love in her noodles and broth. Nothing is better than a bowl of Ramen! I loved it!!! And she's making her own gyoza wraps! Most places just use frozen ones. Everything was delicious!!!! Thank you Okaasama!!!

I came here and got the gyoza, Tonkatsu, and the Spicy Kuma. The gyoza was fried nicely and came with a sweet dipping sauce. The tonkatsu had good flavor and the pork was nicely grilled. I loved the spicy kuma but the broth is spicy so beware. The fried chicken that comes with the spicy kuma is amazing and perfectly fried. The owner is a very sweet lady. The inside is a cute modern ramen place.

This place has a pretty cool vibe. I was greeted when I walked in and was able to get my order in right away. The menu is small yet enough to choose from. There's plenty of seating and also access to a restroom. I got the Mr. Tonkotsu w/ pork and gyoza. Very delicious and I was pleased. I spoke to the owner and commended him, staff are very nice and made sure everything was to my liking. I 10/10 recommend and I hope this business sticks around. read more

Broth has no depth of flavor, watery, served too cold, egg should be soft boiled not hard boiled. If you've never had ramen you might like this, but don't come in with high hopes. read more

Food 6/10 I had the Tonkotsu Ramen and there was only 1 piece of pork belly in the whole order. Which is really disappointing because the bowl itself is about $15. The Curry ramen was also disappointing because the meat that came with it was so hard that it felt like it was all breading. The Chicken Karage was also disappointing because of the texture and how tough the meat was. Service 9/10 Great and fast service Ambiance 9/10 The place is spacious and has a welcoming feeling. read more

Quite surprised by the good quality of this little Japanese ramen restaurant in Hanford. Would not hesitate to bring out of town guests to enjoy ramen here! Food: - Ramen broth was rich and delicious, not overly salty like some places. - Spice level of the spicy ramen (3 types on menu) was just right, not too hot and not too bland. My 72 yr-old mom, 82 yr-old aunt, and 90 yr-old uncle - veteran ramen eaters who've had ramen in Japan - all approved and enjoyed their ramen bowls (although we all thought the meal would have been more complete with some crunchy cabbage or radish kimchi on the side). Even my picky 12 & 14 yr olds rated their non-spicy ramen (tonkatsu and shoyu ramen) as "pretty good" and finished their bowls. - Thick slices of flame grilled pork were filling and delicious; the complex flavor reminded me of some beef jerkies I've enjoyed in the past. - Knocked off a star only because I agree with another reviewer that the egg in ramen should be soft boiled, not hard boiled. I was disappointed to see the eggs in all 6 ramen bowls we ordered were hard boiled. However, from a food & health safety perspective, I can understand the restaurant owner erring on the side of caution and providing hard boiled eggs to avoid the potential for salmonella/food poisoning accusations. After all, unlike Japan or other Asian countries, lawsuits abound in our country for the smallest things (i.e. hot coffee that is actually hot, lol!) - Approx. $15.50 per ramen bowl. Not that expensive considering the egg, thick slices of deliciously seasoned & flame grilled pork, painstakingly simmered bone broth, and freshly made in-house noodles. However, that's more expensive than a bowl of the Vietnamese Pho noodles my family and I love to get, so I recommend for the owner to come up with some kind of incentive (maybe punch cards to reward loyal customers with a free drink or appetizer upon their nth purchase) to get customers to return for more... Service: - Service was friendly and relatively quick, given it was 6pm (on a Wed night) and there were people constantly streaming in for takeout orders as well as to eat in. - The owner lady is very nice, and her adult son was helping man the counter. I love supporting local, family run businesses. So nice to see families working together and supporting one another. - Beware: No tap water, cups, or other extras provided other than paper napkins, plastic utensils, disposable chopsticks, and hot sauce packets. So if you want something to drink with your meal, you'll have to purchase one of their refrigerated beverages for sale (including bottled water). I was a bit taken aback that they didn't even offer tap water, but found it to be genius from a strictly business point of view as it got me to try buying some of their sodas & drinks, something I usually never do at restaurants. Ambience: - Casual, relaxed, and reminiscent of walking into a small ramen shop in Japan due to its wooden decor. 4 stools at the "bar" for those who want to imagine they are eating at a ramen shop in Japan, lol. Several 4-seater tables available plus two long tables to accommodate large families/groups of 10-12. - Not a fancy place, but would be appropriate for a casual date or dinner night out for those who want to try a Tonkatsu ramen aside from the instant ones sold at Costco! We just moved into the area and are trying to find good spots for restaurants. Upon seeing the other reviews for this small family owned business, we decided the try. The place is nice and cozy, the owners were very attentive and kind, and the food! The food!! We got the Spicy Brisket and Spicy Kuma along with a side of egg rolls. The flavors were amazing!! Everything was hot and well made and the chicken in my Spicy Kuma was tender and juicy. Definitely recommend this place especially if you are someone like us who likes supporting small family owned businesses. It's now a spot we will likely come to often when we decide to eat out and will bring family to when they are in town! read more

Was excited to try the newest restaurant in town. Had been hearing about it. I ordered the Spicey Ramen and was a bit spicier than I would have personally liked but it is called the SPICEY ramen lol ! Next time I'll try something less Spicey. Normally we have an eat out meal on Friday and we have a few places that are our normal favorites. My Daughter saw that we have a new Ramen place here in Hanford and we love Ramen, so we thought we would try this place out. We were really excited to try this place and hoped it would be good. Glad to say it did not disappoint, the Ramen was delicious. We all got a different bowl and all three were really good. I had the Spicy Brisket, the meat was very tasty, the broth had a great spicy kick and the veggies were really fresh. My wife had the Shouyu and my daughter had the Tonkotsu. Both Raved about how tender the meat was, and how delicious the broth was. We now have a new place for our Friday night meal out. read more

Amazing. Food was great, ramen with broth and noodles tasted very good. They only can beverages, I was looking forward to the tin cup with iced water. To most of the Ramen places I have bin to, the tin cup with iced water is a thing. Ladies behind the counter were very helpful in my choice of meal. The bowl you eat in, is also you take home container in case you don't finish. They just give you a lid. read more

We're visitors to Cali and in looking for a dinner spot, I'm happy we came across here! The food was good, I enjoyed the flavor and amount of ramen for the price. We got the Tonkatsu which was incredibly rich and a good serving of pork. The owners were very kind. They kept every table clean and paid attention to each customers. One of the owners stopped by every table to see how we were liking it and talked with us about our families. A great spot overall! read more

The absolute best option for ramen in Hanford. It's authentic and they make their broth in house with giant kettles visible from the cash register. The Spicey Kuma and the Spicey Brisket were both delicious and filling, with a good amount of spice! The service is also wonderful, the owner really makes you feel like you're talking with a shop owner in Japan and is very kind. I would suggest everyone check this place out if you love ramen or haven't tried authentic ramen yet. read more

I went here just to check it out and ordered the curry karee ramen . It was so delicious! Having never having any ramen except the cheap stuff from the grocery this was a pleasant surprise. I plan on going back to try the spicey brisket ramen. Talking to the owner, she explained that the noodles are homemade as is the broth. This is a yummy change of pace! read more

4 of us ordered different type of ramen without side order. The side order was pricey for small items, and they don't provide just basic filtered water you have to buy it separately in a bottle. The restaurant is not sit down you have to go to the counter and order and they will call your number for pick up and throw it yourself. The worker will not even deliver to your table when giving 15-30% tip. As for the ramen, the broth is their but not hot enough like your typical ramen shop because my cabage and egg is a bit cold but the brisket is very smokey and tasty. The noodles texture is good and the amount is right. After eating my family felt so thirsty usually from too much msg and salt. Unfortunately, we will not return unless the service has change and food quality revise. read more

First time ever going to this restaurant. It's more of an order upfront and wait type of place and very pricey. The owners are super sweet very friendly. The blonde man in the front who I believe is the cashier is lacking customer service. As this being our first time here we had a few questions about the menu and drinks (which is very limited) he was not helpful at all instead gave responses as he was annoyed. I had the "Mr. Tonkotsu" ramen which was delicious. My kids had entrees which they enjoyed. My husband had the "summer brisket" which he didn't like nor finish. I tried it didn't like it either had a very weird taste definitely don't recommend. We also ordered a "spicy brisket" to take home which was very good. Everything is served in to go plates which I liked. I would say not so kid friendly, no kids menu no high chairs. Overall it's a good restaurant for being new very clean just starting off the owners do have planned to expand their menu in the future. read more

My receipt had a survey to fill out, and I was in a hurry, so I filled out the online survey explaining the car wash was broken. Earlier this month, 7 months after I had told them the car wash was broken, I went through the car wash again, hoping it would finally be fixed. Nope. 9 more dollars wasted on another "Hyper Wash" in which the brushes don't ever touch my car! This means customers have been paying for car washes for the past 7 months, only to discover after they have already paid, while they are in the car wash, that it's broken. This time I wrote to customer service directly, explaining to them that the car wash has been broken for 7 months and that I had wasted $18 on two Hyper washes. I wrote to them on July 11th, ten days ago, and they have not responded.

I had the pleasure of visiting this ramen restaurant today, and I have to say, the service was exceptional. The owner is incredibly friendly, always greeting everyone with a big smile, and it's clear they genuinely care about their customers. The food was fresh and cooked to order, which really makes a difference in taste. One of the highlights for me was that they make their own ramen noodles in-house--something you don't see every day. The drink selection is impressive too, with several unique options. I tried the mango cream soda, and it was masterfully crafted. I just wish I knew where to buy it by the case! I got my food to go, and by the time we got home, we were so hungry that I forgot to take any pictures. But trust me, it's all good.
