Got in and out quickly! Good employees. I got the Kuma burger and it was like a 7/10. JUICY patty with an egg on top. The bun is a little too burned for my taste but the overall flavor is good! Didn't love the fries, tasted a little stale. I didn't try the sauce in the picture, looked kinda gross. Not quite a top 5 burger but not bad at all. FYI, they blast hard rock music, which I love!

The burger are fantastic and the Mac and cheese is some of the best! They have ice cream bars for a great dessert. Great selections of ciders and beers. The music and vibe is an added bonus!

Got the mac and cheese with pulled pork and it was freaking delicious. Right level of cheese and savoriness, and it wasn't too salty at all. I got a small, but the serving was pretty big! The staff was also really great and took good care of me and my coworkers.

This place is heavy rock/metal themed. I ordered a Ghost themed burger due to the band having a show in Chicago around the time. I really enjoyed it. The service was good. I loved the interior design of the established. If your a metal fan, a good place to check out

If you're hungry, love loud music, and want your food bold and unapologetic, Kuma's Corner is the place to be! We came with a party of eight--including family visiting from out of town--and let me just say, not a single person left disappointed. The staff was friendly, attentive, and totally accommodating, even with our big group. The jalapeño poppers were not spicy and a little too much bread for me but huge, cheesy, and made with whole jalapeños, not that tiny diced stuff. Then came the burgers--massive, juicy, and named after rock bands--how cool is that? Total rock 'n roll vibe from the decor to the playlist. Large portions you can't go wrong the salad with the order is soooo worth it ceaser for the win and the croutons made with the pretzel bun ---oh myyyyyyy!!!! The elote mac and cheese. Creamy, spicy, and absolutely addictive. If you like your comfort food with a twist, don't skip this. The portions are huge, the flavors are loud, and the atmosphere is a mashup of great food and heavy metal energy. Whether you're a local or just visiting Chicago, if you're ready to eat and rock--this is the spot!

Place is pretty overpriced for the quality. Giving it a 3 because maybe they were having an off night, but it just didn't feel great eating there.

Quick service! Lots of space for tables with small and fairly large parties and bar seats available as well. The service took a little bit when we sat, but we were able to order right away. I got a grilled boneless chicken breast sandwich with the Iron Maiden which came with avocado, onion, lettuce, tomato and substitute the cheese for cheddar cheese. The Kuma's cherry coke was suprisingly delicious! We were scarfing down all of our burgers when it arrived and it was all so tasty and cooked to perfection. My plate had fries even though I ordered chips, but the server was able to correct that right away. I loved the kick you get with the ketchup as well. Great spot overall and will definitely be back!

Edamame, burger, what's left of Caesar salad and my cute bf!!!

Vix was our server and truly exceptional--patient, personable, and super knowledgeable. She made the whole experience that much better. The edamame sounds simple, but it was insanely good--packed with flavor. We shared a side Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and it was more than enough for two. Fresh, crisp, and absolutely delicious. We each had a Bloody Mary with a beer chaser--mine was a bit spicier than I'd like, but overall they hit the spot. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying one of Kuma's famous burgers. The Iron Maiden was everything I hoped for--juicy, flavorful, and totally satisfying. I wish I had taken better pictures, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying the food and the moment. I can't wait to visit again!

A perfect stop on our way to Wrigley Field! Another delicious Diner's, Drive In's & Dives spot for amazing food, leaving full and happy! We loved the Slayer, served over fires and the Iron Maiden! The Mastodon wasn't my favorite, but still good! Definitely will come back and try a few more burgers! In addition, they have a great selection of beer!

This is a cool joint! I came here on the weekend with my brother, who was in town and dying to try it! He's a big metal fan, so Kuma's Corner has been on his radar for a while. They obviously played metal music, to which my brother identified and shared facts about each song on their playlist to those in our party. They have a selection of beers, cans, spirits, cocktails, and NA options. I opted for the Two Snaps, which seemed interesting. It was a great drink option and also NA. I also got the Plague Burger, which was delicious! I got a side of fries, which were tasty, as well. Everything was flavorful and had a kick to it, which our whole party commented on. The interior of the restaurant has metal band memorabilia, which my brother enjoyed. The host was nice, as well.

I'm a metal head so this place looked cool. Ordered a W.A.S.P. burger. Swiss mushrooms sautéed onions and a horse radish. Deeeelish! Fresh cut cries. Yes please. Service was good too. Ooo the apple cider beer. Yum!

Staying with some friends who happen to be vegan, I asked them to take me to some of their favorite restaurants around Chicago. They told me I would like the aesthetic and theme of Kuma's Corner, and boy, were they right! The drink and food were excellent too. On a Monday, around 3:00pm, three of us parked on the street directly across from the original Kuma's Corner. We asked to be seated inside and were led to a table towards the back. When you walk in, you see a big bar with a few TVs and lots of hard rock/metal band posters and music playing. It is a bit dark inside but we did not have any problems reading the menu. It took a few moments for the waitress to come over with waters and ask for our drink order, but she appeared to be pulling double duty as the bar tender. Everything took a little extra time as she was busy with other tables and taking care of the bar, so that was a bit unfortunate, but thankfully we had nowhere else to be. As we sipped on our beers, we had more than ample time to read the menu and decide what we wanted. After placing our food orders, we waited a good 20 minutes or so for our late-in-the-day lunches to arrive. For lunch, I ordered their "Clutch" burger (cooked medium) with a side of fries. The "Clutch" burger is topped with jalapeno bacon jam, cheddar cheese, pepperjack cheese, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, all between a pretzel bun. This was a phenomenal burger! It was cooked perfectly and was plenty big. The jalapeno bacon jam on top stood out, complementing the other toppings very well. The fries were cooked perfectly as well and had a tiny kick to them, which I liked quite a bit. The burger was plenty big, probably half-pound, and there were plenty of fries - I was nice and full walking out of here. The prices seemed in-line for the quality and quantity of food I received, which may seem high to some, but what I saw is pretty close to other restaurants serving burgers. I really liked Kuma's Corner! The hard rock/metal theme is right up my alley, and the burgers are unique and delicious. Seeing as it was a holiday (Labor Day), I understand the wait for everything being a little longer as they were most likely operating with a reduced number of staff. I definitely would come back and try another one of their burgers though, but maybe grab a seat at the bar instead.

Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

Service was okay. The kitchen seemed swamped, so it took awhile for food to come out. They didn't check on us super frequently. Overall, the food was good, and the people that I went with enjoyed the bottomless mimosa deal.

The meal started strong with crispy, golden flatbread paired with creamy ricotta. The ricotta was silky and lightly tangy, topped with olive oil, shaved cheese, herbs, and a sweet-savory jam that added depth. The bread had that perfect crunch on the outside with a slight chew inside -- simple but elevated. The pasta was the star. Wide ribbons cooked perfectly al dente, coated in a rich, slow-simmered ragu that tasted deeply savory and comforting. The sauce clung beautifully to the noodles, and the generous sprinkle of parmesan tied everything together. It felt rustic but refined -- the kind of dish you keep going back for.

Our server was quite friendly (but did not address the issue adequately). Sadly, I experienced an issue with the food. The famous onion dip was delicious. We ordered 3 different cocktails and they were great too. Our server recommended pierogi and said it was her favorite item in the menu. However, not only was it salty but the mussels were not properly purged. I got multiple rocks/ Pearl like things coming out of mussels. I informed the server about it after finding them from more than one mussel and she just asked "would you like another one made"- I don't think that would resolve the issue with the whole batch of mussels not purged. I bit into almost all mussels in my dish and learned all except one all had these rocks and grits in it. There was no resolution on it and I just did not finish my food and we paid the full bill inclusive of the 25% service charge automatically applied. At a well know restaurant like this, purging mussels seem like a basic food prep. I have never experienced anything like this and seafood pasta is generally my go to item in Italian restaurants. It was quite a disappointing experience due to the lack of food prep and no resolution. I managed to get a pic of what came out of the mussels even though there were many more after these...
