I've been here three times now. The woman at the front desk is always nice. I like that they let you go change into a robe. It's predominantly OG asians in a small place. Think about a nail salon. They will talk among themselves assuming you don't understand. Not like they speak badly, but I've heard things like... she tipped so low and said she'll be back soon.... or I'm tired that person wore me out. I like they massage your face. I have been switched on before but it's not the worse. The name is wrong on Yelp and outside. It's Tim's. I checked the address and the entire plaza. Phone number matches too. They got me twice. Their hours aren't accurate either. I forget what they are but I took a picture and submitted the name change and hours to Yelp. There's a $3 charge to use card. SERVICE: they first have you sitting upright while your feet are soaking and give you a shoulder and upper back rub with oil (which many places do not use). This part was decent, but not amazing. Next, you lie down on a comfortable, padded table and you get a scalp, neck, and arm massage. Then both fee are thoroughly massaged. Finally, you turn face down on the table and you upper legs, back, and shoulders are massaged pretty nicely. AMBIANCE: they are located in Little Saigon within a strip mall off of Brookhurst. This is not my first time to this massage location. There has not been a time that I have come to this place & had the most spectacular massage. I usually get a male masseuse. They use tiger balm along with massage oil when they do a deep tissue massage and it gets my muscle knots. They even top it off with some hot stones to keep your back feeling less stiff. For an hour massage for 20 bucks...not only did I get a bang for my buck but always feel relaxed the rest of the day after exams. This place is definitely a treat. Not one of my favorites. I've been to many of these places, especially in Westminister. Stumbled upon this place one evening because Olala was full and we were looking for another option. This place looked promising so we decided to give it a shot. The massage I had was alright but what I really didn't like was the lotion they used. It was a cheaply labeled bottle, green apple scent, and very thick and oily. My skin started to get very irritated afterwards. Also, it was a bit drafty inside and the towel I was laying on felt a bit damp. What really made me not want to come back was the fact that they were talking badly about one of the customers who called and made an appointment. I've been visiting this place since I moved here a couple of months ago. I'm not new to these reflexology places as I used to visit often in the Bay. So, I went on my search to find one here. Overall, this is a good place. Upon my recent visit, I found out there is a new owner. And unfortunately, the woman that I liked has moved. Before the new owner arrived, the previous owner had written me a sort of coupon because of their mistake which I brought to their attention. To make a long story short, they had made lots of mistakes regarding my appointment time slot, and went as far to lie to me about who I had made an appointment for. Anyway, I went recently to use the coupon, and the person at the front said they would honor my coupon even though it is a new owner. That's nice of them, so I got my massage. When I went to pay and reminded him of my coupon, he then informs me that the new owner (who he points to) will not accept it. I was upset and reminded him he said he was going to honor it right before the massage. I explained to him that it's not fair for him to say that he'd honor it only to take it back AFTER the service, and that it was poor customer service to do so. Reluctantly, he accepted. My husband and I tried this place a week ago. I honestly can say that we both like this place so far. We went around 9pm, and no one else was there for a massage. It was great time to be there as it wasn't noisy just some whispering between our masseuses. The massage beds are also lined vertically in a row instead of each bed facing each other with little wiggle room. To me, lining the beds like that made it not seem so claustrophobic and gave it a more comforting environment. We recommend Mia and Wendy. Mia doesn't speak much English, but I think Wendy does. If you don't like a lot of pressure for your massage, then try Mia. If you like a strong massage, then try Wendy. And I can't forget the hot stones! A first time for both of us... Very relaxing! I am rating soley based on reflexology places... not comparing to the expensive spas. I have been to a few and this place was GREAT! I went right before lunch and It was quiet with not a lot of people. It was my first time and they were helpful. Explaining to me to wear a towel dress and take off my shirt and bra. Then I sat on the foot cushion and they worked at my neck and shoulders.....yum. Then I lay face up and they massaged my head face neck and shoulders. Then they did my feet.....WOW i rarely fall a sleep and I almost did doze off that says ALOT! Arms were done face up. Then I flipped and they worked my back and worked on problem areas. The finale was HOT stones. I love it. This is not private meaning there are a lot of chairs right next to each other. Some of the workers were laying the chairs because it wasn't busy at all so I thought that was not usual but hey whatever makes them great at massaging let them do it. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the strong scent of tiger balm and the thought of old people... Made an appointment and requested 2 female masseuses but I ended up with a guy. I'm not normally one to complain but the massage was rough. The type of rough that causes you to tense your toes and back. This place is under new management since Fall '10. I went last month and again today. My masseur I had last time moved :( He was the best. I used to go all the time and really enjoy it here. Full body massages are $20 an hour and an extra $10 for a 90-minute one. I am very stiff so the masseur suggested 90 minutes. He would occasionally ask if the pressure was ok and if I wanted it harder or softer so that was nice. I didn't get the guy's name, but if you want a strong massage, go for the guys. I've tried different people and they have different techniques they use. All have been very effective. I've never gotten massaged by a woman, but my friend has and she said that the woman got tired. I suggest getting a woman if you want a gentle, relaxing massage. I have yet to try different places to compare. read more

I love deep tissue massages and so I always ask for a Male massuse. They have always kept the right pressure and asked me nicely if their grip is too strong or weak. For $20/hr I received a GREAT deep tissue massage that included hot stones. Women - be aware that the massuse will ask if they can unhook your bra strap and lower your top to your waist. You can definitely refuse if it makes you uncomfortable, but they are professional and won't grope you. Men - It's a great massage!! I recently took a guy friend of mines who LOVED IT!! Olala was booked so b/c of the reviews we decided to try this place today. It was easy to make an appointment, clean and the staff was friendly. It didn't help that it was lunar near year so it was super noisy with people partying next door and fireworks going off. Not the relaxing atmosphere i was looking forward to. And there wasn't a wall dividing the room from the receptionist desk so u can hear the phone ringing and the whole conversation. The massage was nothing close to what i usually enjoy at olalal. My friend and I decided to try a new place and called Pro Reflexology so we made an appointment for 430p on a Saturday night. When we arrived, turns out they had plenty of openings anyway (in fact, there was only one other customer). We requested two males (mine was Neil and hers was Tony). You walk to your bed and they give u a plastic basket to put your purse/keys/belongings in. ***GIRLS: I suggest wearing a tank top/spaghetti & shorts, unless you prefer to take your shirt off completely and wear a wrap that they give you. You sit down with your feet soaked in warm water and they begin on your neck & shoulders. My guy was a little too soft in the beginning and as it went on he gave more pressure. After neck/shoulders they stretch your arms back and twist you. Chop, chop and then you lay face up on the bed. They massage your head and face, which is always great. Then massage each arm and lastly the feet. Up to this point everything was relaxing and I think I even dozed off for a minute. Then the moment of truth: the back. You lay face down and expose your entire back. My guy was 50/50 on the back, there were moments of good pressure and moments where it was too fast and kinda hurt with the elbows..but ive had worse. Then the best surprise: HOT STONES. They massage you with the hot stones and place them along your spine and massage you with more hot stones. This was the best part. While the stones are laid out on your back, they massage your bottom half and then come back and do the back again. Wipe down & done! This place is really like a 2 1/2 IMHO. Called and made an appt last night...front desk very nice...walked in and was taken to our beds right away. They fill bucket with hot water and start on my shoulders...phone rings (in front, middle, and back of this small place...so ya its annoying and really loud)...so my guy stops to schedule someone else hahaaha...wow! After that...there were not really any interruptions ... once in a while soft talking but not really bother some. Massage was ok...it seemed very rushed...but pressure and technique was ok. They do use hot stones at the end which is kinda cool and relaxing...but my fiance said when they did his they pulled out leg hairs...haaha ouch! UPDATE: I came here s second time and i got the guy masseuse this time and LITERALLY i had back pains for a whole week. During my experience he worked on my upper shoulders for HALF the time when i told him that he can move on. Not only did he not listen to me, but the whole hour he was thinking my bones were knotts and used all his body weight using his elbow to grind up on my " KNOTTS" i told him to stop but he said something in his broken english and continued. i was furious at this point. I got the hot stone massage at the end to try it out and man.,.... BAD CHOICE the rocks were hot as sh** and i felt like i was gonna get a 2nd degree burn on my back ( not even exaggerating). At the end of the massage as i was paying, i tipped him 5 bucks (which he TOTALLY did not deserve) and he mumbled something in chinese and slammed one of the cabinet doors infront of me with anger. how RUDE.
