The best bubble tea in Boston! Mango Green tea is delicious and the boba pearls are too!

A decent spot if you are craving some boba. The taro milk tea with boba and jelly is by far my favorite drink from here. It is sweet enough to satisfy my sweet tooth and not too heavy. I've tried other combinations and it was just ehhh at best. The 10 dollar credit card limit is a bummer and has stopped me from coming in a couple of times after realizing I had no cash on me. I will continue to come here because of the convenient location, however, i would go to a different place if one was to open up. (hint hint) read more

I had Kung Fu Tea Milk Tea with Herbal Tea and. It was terrific and perfect for a hot sunny day. The place got so much tables and chairs, perfect to hangout with friends. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Gonna go back every now and then since I've just discovered that this is the closest Milktea Place to my work. read more

Tried the regular milk tea which is their most popular drink. Apparently Kung Fu tea is a popular boba place in the Northeast....I haven't seen any in CA. Anyway, tea was WAY too sweet, I could barely taste the tea. It was more of a slightly fragrant sweet milk drink than a tea. It was okay..I did drink most of it so it wasn't awful. I am a huge fan of milk cap tea. I would normally get milk cap on top of an unsweetened tea without toppings. Gongcha was normally my go to place. I tried the milk cap tea here and it was such a pleasant surprise- the tea was perfectly brewed and milk cap had the perfect sweet and saltiness. There are plenty of seatings in this location for customers to sit down and enjoy their beverage. read more

This mix of taro and green tea is very unique. The other drinks I've tried have been 'meh'. I like how you can customize some drinks on how much sweetness and ice you want. I cannot BELIEVE that this place has only three and a half stars. A travesty! Boston boba tea drinkers, are you crazy? This place is the best! I grew up in Taiwan and have had so much boba from all over... and this place is LEGIT good. The texture of the pearls/boba is perfect, and it has the requisite brown-sugary-sweetness that all pearls should have. The tea itself has a deep, rich flavor... which makes you know you're drinking the real stuff. My recommendation: the oolong milk tea + boba. Just do it. :) read more

Leaving a bad review because the staff was unable to tell me what the ingredients were in their own drinks. People with dietary restrictions should avoid this place until the staff can figure out how to read labels or can at least present labels for customers to read. I walked in here and talked to everyone behind the counter and not a single person was able to answer my questions. I don't trust them to honor my food allergies and it wasn't worth the risk of an allergic reaction. Allow me to preface this review by stating that I spent the last 5 out of 6 weeks in California, where boba drinks are more abundant, generally higher quality, and less expensive. I think this would merit a 3.5 star rating, as I think this location is a tad better than the other location in Allston (I rated that establishment 3 stars) but probably decided to round down based on my preface. First, this place has more interior space and is more decorated like a cafe than the other location. Speaking of location, it's far more convenient to come here as it is right next to Symphony Station on the green line on Mass Ave, and close enough that I could stop by for a snack after shopping in Copley Place or the Prudential. The other day, I had the hot oolong milk tea, no boba. The hot drinks come in one size (large) and I don't believe they charge extra for boba. Either way, I didn't get any and my drink cost $4.25. There was one person ahead of me when I entered, but after I placed my order, a line of about 10 people quickly formed. I guess I beat the crowd, but it honestly wouldn't have been a big deal because the staff seems pretty efficient, though I don't know how long the people behind me had to wait to get their drinks. A few minutes later, my order number was called and I took my drink out the door. The taste was ok compared to the tea I'm used to in California, but I felt that it had too much milk in it. It had a thicker than I'm used to consistency, and actually made me a bit full. Drinks are the same, service is the same (no frills, just take your order and then your money), wait time is the same. Oh, I noticed that this place sells macarons! I didn't get any this time, but maybe if they're any good, I'll bump up the star rating. read more

I go here almost every day. I absolutely love everything about it. Your drink is made quickly and promptly and you anxiously wait in line to get it. The teas are great but the bubbles are what makes Kung Fu Tea one of the best places to get boba. Their bubbles are never stale, and never too chewy. All KFT locations taste the same to me, hence the four stars. But in terms of location, I think this is the most convenient location ever because the Symphony T stop is literally right in front of you. There is also the Mass Ave T stop right across the stress as well. It's also super spacious here - however they are lacking on outlets - so you never really have to fight for a table or a seat. Most of the customers who come here are college students. One thing that I don't like about this location is that it is kind of in a basement (not really), so it's kind of suffocating for me. I love window spaces and they don't really have it. Even so, it is still sub-ground which I don't like.
