They are finally open! The staff was very nice and the cashier girl was very knowledgable with the products. I ordered a Kung Fu milk Oolong tea with herbal jelly and it was awesome. They have a lot of outlets and free wifi so it's definitely a good place to study. The music matched the ambiance; the place is really hip. I go here almost on a daily basis! Have tried many other bubble tea places but can't find one I enjoy this much! I've had every drink the offer. My favorite is the classic milk tea with bubbles. The bubbles are soaked in honey so they taste amazing and are never bitter like some other places! They have an app that makes it so easy to pay and you can't even get rewards from it! I anticipated the opening of this location for months on end because it is so close to home! No more having to drive out to Bellaire! During my first visit they didn't have all their ingredients yet to make some of the drinks on the menu, therefore I wasn't able to order a couple things I wanted. I figured it was alright since it was the first week they opened. What I've noticed every time I've been back is that the drinks are very inconsistent; sometimes they're good and sometimes they're not. I went to Kungfu Tea with my friend, and was greeted by a new cashier, she was very sweet, and I could tell she was nervous, so I didn't mind it as I know how hard a new job can be. However, the manager was super rude and short with her, which was extremely off putting to say the least. She seemed extremely unhappy to be there, and acted as if she was better than everyone else working there simply because she has the manager position. I won't be coming back simply because of her attitude!! Great place to chill, play a boardgame, and sip boba. Tapioca is made fresh everyday. Try the Creme de Banana, Taro-Milk Tea, or an ice coffee. The staff (at least the one i encountered) is rude and even spiteful. I arrived at the very opening to quickly grab a drink and be on my way to an appointment in the area. The machines were not turned on, it took a very long time to make the drink, and there was no boba in it. When I asked to add the boba, and the staff member appeared displeased and annoyed. He disappeared into the back to add that boba and when I tried my drink again (already in my car, late for an appointment) it felt like he added soap to it. Either he did it out of spite or the boba tastes like dishwasher/soap. Either way terrible service, really terrible drink, and disappointing that this place cares so little about their reputation to let a customer feel valued. I threw the drink out. read more

Came to this place 11 minutes before close and they still have the open sign on and they told me they are closed. This place is literally open until 10 and I just drove 30 minutes because they were the only ones open until 10. I have even called them for the last 15 minutes prior to arriving and they have not answered the phone to place an order, was just trying to make it easier for them instead of coming in 11 minutes before closed to order last minute. If you are closed please turn off your open sign and lock the dang door. If you don't like doing your job until the time the establishment closes, then maybe you should get a different job. I would hate to have employees like this operating my business....now that I had this problem and looked back in reviews, this keeps happening at this place and they didn't ever answer my phone call because in their minds they were already "closed." Limited in flavors. No thai tea and other common tea drink most shop have. I normally get the honey milk tea but have to always tell them to make it less sweet because it is overly sweet. The boba at this location is a bit too soft. I've tried a few of their other locations (Denton and Austin) and the boba was great. If they can get the boba texture right I would rate this location higher. read more

First time trying this place the other day...almost taste very similar to the original place in Bellaire...but not quite...your tapioca is perfect taste just like the OG one, but when it comes too drinks...it's a little too sweet.. I had the taro slush with tapioca. Once ya can fix the sugar part then it will be perfect...but overall it's still good and really close to the original place! I know ya are still new and still learning, but I can tell this place can be really good. I'll give it like another month or 2 and it'll be A1! I ordered drinks through the app on a September 16 for my coworkers and I. I received an email that the order would be ready in ten minutes. I was on lunch so decided to head to pick up the drinks. As I was getting ready to reach the store, I received a call from an employee at the store saying that the manager forgot to open the store and they barely opened half an hour ago. Mind you this was at 2:30 PM. He said that the drinks would take an hour or so to be ready and one of the flavors I ordered was out of stock. I asked him if he could refund me if that was the case since I have limited time on my lunch and can't afford to be late. He said no and that I would have to contact the app myself to ask for a refund even though it wasn't my fault. I asked him what my options were since I didn't have time to contact a third party app and it was their fault for telling my my order would be ready at a specified time when it wouldn't be. I asked him if he could deliver since I worked ten minutes away. He said he could but it would have to be later when the next person showed up at around 4-5PM. I was frustrated but said okay. He confirmed the address and phone number with me and said he would for sure be there within that window. At five minutes til five, one of my coworkers decide to call the store to check on the order since I ordered drinks for the office. The associate changed his mind and said he wouldn't be able to deliver and asked if we could go pick it up instead. I said we couldn't said we were working and they promised us they would so they should be able to deliver that promise. He went on a tangent and said it wasn't his job to deliver. I told him I hear someone laughing in the background so there's clearly another person with you there so he should be able to drop the drinks off. He said it was his manager Grace laughing which is unprofessional. I then proceeded to ask him what my options were since he can't fulfill his promise to deliver. At this point I was highly frustrated and angry. I was charged $24.80 for the drinks and I never received them. He then said he could refund me and email me the receipt. I asked him why he couldn't have done that all along. He made an excuse about the system being down and said there was a leak in the kitchen. He finally emailed me a receipt that showed a $0 charge. I'm not sure if that means my order was refunded or not or if I should have a $-24.80 charge in order to cancel out the previous charge. I told him I would contact corporate and tell them about my horrible experience. I'm a frequent Kung Fu Tea customer and this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I will no longer frequent your locations anymore and will contact my bank to dispute the charge on my account since I still have yet to be refunded. Overall, I don't recommend this establishment and the staff here is highly unprofessional and incompetent . I have also filed a complaint with the corporate office as well. Their Kung Fu Milk Green Tea tastes actually quite different than other Kung Fu Teas. Not that it's a bad thing, but I like it!

A total disappointment! I gave this place three chances to make it right, but they still can't get it. Kung Fu Tea is probably my number 1 go to hang out spot. I go here to study and hang out with friends all the time. My favorite drink here is the king fu milk tea, I love it with nada Jelly but my friends prefer it with boba, which is also yummy! The strawberry lemonade with nada jelly is also a really good drink as well as their Caramel Macchiato. I never liked boba (tapioca) before trying Kung fu tea's. Every other place just tasted nasty to me and I didn't understand why my friends enjoyed it, until I tried Kung fu teas, it's amazing! It's not too chewy, and it's just the right amount of sweetness! Let's begin with I'm a huge fan of the venue at the other two locations. I've given this location a lot of tries and as of lately, they are just disappointing. Not only have their drinks started becoming super watered down, so is their customer service. None of their new cashiers are every happy upon greeting. They're all young and you can tell they do not want to be there. Especially when you go anywhere close to their closing time. Example: If they close at 11 and you come at 10:30 or 10:45, they'll just have thrown out the boba or "ran out". If the sign says open until a time...that means you should keep the boba in stock until 11. You only close down once the store itself is closed not before. This has happened to my family and i way too many times. They're only open until 11 on Friday-Sunday but it seems like all their workers are too young and excited about getting off and getting out for the weekend nights. I'm over this place.
