Kung fu is always a great place to go. This one is a little smaller than the one in bellair but everyone is super nice and it's still a great environment. As always, it's a great place to hang out with friends and get something to drink. They also have a selection of macaroons and candy. Often times I've seen rave reviews for Kung Fu tea and I've tried two location--the one in Bellaire and this one in Cypress. Unfortunately, I would not give this place five star. It's hard enough giving one star. I found the tea to be overly sweet and while you can ask for it to be "not too sweet" its all premix (the lady told me she can reduce the sweet level only to tell me they couldn't once I asked to remake it). I found on both locations the workers to be rude and banging / flinging cups like a toddler with a bad temper tantrum when asked to remake a drink. My advice is to skip this place and head on to other better bubble teas (there are plenty around). read more

Boy behind register was rude. Kept telling me wrong things regarding the menu and then waiting a minute to say "JK JK" and laughing hysterically at nothing. He laughed every time I tried to begin my order. Couldn't even finish a sentence without him cracking up hysterically and looking at his friends that work there. Took 25 minutes for 2 milk teas and it wasn't really crowded. i finally saw them put my drinks on the counter but they didn't call my name or anything, and just for my drinks... and when i went up and asked what was going on, they said they didn't know which drink was which and didn't even remember my order. Only reason it isn't 5 Stars is bc I tried coming in at 9:30 (30 minutes before closing) and they told me they were "closed" even though the door was fully unlocked. I've been to kung fu several times and each time has been mediocre. I came in today and ordered a Peach Oolong tea. The employees were courteous and my drink came out in like 2 minutes which i appreciated, but i ordered a medium for $4.60 with boba and the drink itself was tiny and not worth the cost. The drink was bitter, not sweet at all, and tasted like they steeped burnt tea leaves in water for too long. read more

This location is so convenient yet such a drag to come... I really don't like the white girl at the register. She's so rude, never smiles and gives attitude. Last time she pissed me off because she threw my change at me and rolled her eyes and I was so close to calling her manager the next day to complain. Back to the drinks, I like the milk tea here however the green milk tea tastes bland and watered down. Strawberry banana was good and the green tea was ok. They don't use any natural ingredients as far as fruits go. Both times I've been here they've been out of coconut milk, which really sucks. The drinks are also made pretty slowly. Cool variation in drinks. I have bought milk tea, caps, and regular before. All very good!! They are very quick and let you customize the order also. I usually get 1/2 sugar and 1/2 ice. The only downside is that they don't have Thai tea, but all the other options make it worth it! Very few boba places around here, so I am very glad that I have Kung Fu. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was a VERY pungent smell in this store. I am not certain why it smells like this as they only sell sweet teas and desserts, but it smells like fish. The decor is cute in the store, the music was a bit too loud, and the drink was okay. The cups/servings are a bit smaller than the standard boba tea cups. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to go. I tried the coffee milk tea with tapioca and it was just AMAZING! It had the right amount of tapioca and the coffee flavor was just right. It wasn't overly sweet or strong. The price was great as well. First impression was great; the interior was homey, music was vibing (although a little too loud), and the menus were lit up brightly for anybody to see. The options for the drinks were magnificent! You get to chose the amount of sugar you want (extra, regular, less, none) and the variety of drinks were vast! This place is pretty popular for get togethers and friend meetings, I see people playing card games here and families relaxing. I tried wintermelon milk tea (mild flavor like a honeydew almost), red bean slush (this was my least favorite---I'd try a red bean milk tea and probably like it better), passion fruit tea (very sweet). They are finally open! The staff was very nice and the cashier girl was very knowledgable with the products. I ordered a Kung Fu milk Oolong tea with herbal jelly and it was awesome. They have a lot of outlets and free wifi so it's definitely a good place to study. The music matched the ambiance; the place is really hip. I'll start with the nice things about this place: the location is closer to the school where I attend than the one in Chinatown, and it's fairly clean and a nice place to be in. They're not many different employees, so I tend to see the same ones every time I come in; which was about three weeks on the same day at the same time. I'll admit that the staff has a short of a "meh" attitude when fixing my drinks and that the boba is somewhat hard and not chewy at all, but the flavor of milk tea is about the same as the one in Bellaire and they make it pretty quickly. On my last visit with a friend, the person behind the counter rung up the total as usual while another employee who was next to him went to fix the drinks. However, he only fixed my friend's before going into the kitchen area. Figuring he was getting more ingredients, I thought nothing of it since there were two other people behind me, I thought mine and their drinks would come out at the same time. Pretty soon the other people got theirs (their order number was called, so I knew it wasn't mine) and I had yet received mine. Pretty soon my friend noticed that the employee who was suppose to make my drink was chilling and smoking vape. I was very unhappy and went up to the guy at the counter and politely asked if my drink had ever been made. The same guy who took my order 7-10 minutes ago asked to see my receipt before even apologizing for the screw up. Now, I've been employed before and know that when the same customer comes back minutes after ordering, pointing out a "potential" mistake, they want it to be acknowledged, plus, there had literally been two people who came after me in a span of 2 minutes since my order (not to mention I sat right in front of the cashier on the chair after I placed my order), I found his response to be somewhat rude. Eventually the vape smoker came back and the guy at the counter (with receipt in hand and apparently not believing I hadn't gotten my drink/payed for it) asked if the guy had ever made my drink. The guy glanced at me and I told him that he made my friend's drink but not mine. The counter dude apologized for the mishap and "personally" made the drink himself, however, the milk tea wasn't sweat at all and the boba was not only hard, but tasted like it's been sitting out in the heat for hours. By then I was split between complaining to the manager for such crummy customer service or beating the afternoon traffic since what was suppose to take a 5 minute stop and go took 10-12; I picked the latter. I'll just stick with driving to Chinatown even thought it is further, but at least its location's service is better opposed to the one here where the service has nothing special to it. I'm not going to put up or waste my time and money on employees who have a crummy attitude and give crummier service when you mention a mistake on their part. read more
