Quick stop in for an afternoon sweet treat and KFT does not disappoint. I noticed this location has some yummy snacks - onigiri, spring rolls, and takoyaki. If I wasn't headed out to dinner I would have grabbed some bc the spring rolls looked amazing! I did get a mango milk tea with boba and it was ready quickly. The space is cute and really big, I'd definitely come work here because there is an abundance of tabletop space and outlets.

Pretty good bubble tea and slush is here. I haven't had any of the food. This is one of those places you go when bubble tea is an afterthought. Like we get out of a movie and we are passing it. If bubble tea is your main objective I wouldn't suggest jumping in the car and driving here.

A Standard Sip: Kung Fu Tea in Review Kung Fu Tea is a pretty standard bubble tea spot. The decor is on-theme, and there's a basic seating area for a casual sit-down. I tried the Taro Milk Tea. It was, well, standard. I usually go for less sugar, but I forgot to mention it this time, so it ended up being quite sweet. But that's on me, not them. The boba was okay - about what you'd expect from a chain. Nothing to write home about, but it did the job. Service was quick, which was a plus. I had my order in hand within 5 minutes. All in all, Kung Fu Tea is a decent spot for a quick boba fix. Nothing more, nothing less

First time at this location. Luckily, I found parking in the front! #winning. Quick and easy service. Dropped in and grabbed my favorite Thai milk bubble tea. Consistently good at any of their locations I've been to. This time I switched it up and tried one of their appetizers which was the shrimp tempura rice ball. The rice ball was good and reminded me of a bigger version of a shrimp tempura sushi roll. I always use the Kung Fu Tea app to purchase my bubble teas. Vent coming up: What's crazy to me is that -- you have to purchase 168 bubble teas to get 1 free drink. That's wild! I believe I have 118 more bubbles to go...LAUGH OUT LOUD! Not sure how it's calculated but it seems like it will take FOREVER! Vent over. Kung Fu Tea is my go-to place to get delicious bubble teas!

Great variety of smoothies, milk teas, teas, and quick bites. Service is fast and the interior clean. One of the few places in Chinatown that has my favorite flavor, wintermelon. Good place to grab a cool drink after a hot day of exploring Philadelphia.

Bad, bubble tea.

Rip off. Got a tea, they charged bubbles don't see many nor pineapple pieces- so I ended up paying almost $7. The servers looked uninspiring, not friendly but dead. I don't even think they know how to make it. It's nothing special. Make it your selves.

Let me Philly up some of this review with a rap. I don't like beans in my drinks, not even MUNG FU If you brought the tea, it's already been BRUNG FU If you're seventeen, sorry bae, but you're too YOUNG FU But if you want Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU! It makes some of the rivals taste like eating cow DUNG FU It's at the top of the ladder, while you're on the lowest RUNG FU You'll love if you're easy going, even highly STRUNG FU So if you want a Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU I tasted it and screamed so loud that I collapsed a LUNG FU I carried on screaming and sounded like Angus YOUNG FU They played Sting on the radio, but I'm already STUNG FU By the wondrous Lemon Black Tea they serve at KUNG FU I went to the toilet, opened Snapchat, then I SUNG FU Came back, took my pants off, and the girls yelled "HUNG FU!" In walked Barbie and immediately I'm SPRUNG FU And you should come and get a Lemon Black Tea from KUNG FU! WHAT My notes said - girl was super super friendly. not sure if they loved or hated me. had a crush. wonderful product What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! I had a crush on one of the girls working here who is really incredible, and makes perfect boba too. I'm not sure if some of the employees here loved or hated me, I couldn't tell, but I think it was one or the other. They made me a really great lemon black tea which is really saying something because the vast majority of KFT stores in the Philly area are lacking something, and the drinks don't quite come out as well as I expect based on standards at other KFT regions. But none of those problems occurred here. Here, the tapioca was perfect, the drink was deliciousness, so whereas a lot of chains around here get three or four from me for not being up to standards, this one undeniably scores five. Along with Tsaocaa and Tea Do, these are the go to bobas to get in Chinatown Philly. Mr Wish can be great, but the Chinatown location is hit or miss. But this KFT has been a hit each time I've been here, so far. Good luck finding parking though. You'll need it. So if you have nothing to do And your partner won't give you a screw I know something better And very much wetter Get Lemon Black Tea from Kung Fu!

Large Mango slush
Jennifer N.

Came here on a weekday and wait time was pretty short. Small place with a little dine-in seating area. Light appetizers are also available to order here. I ordered the large mango slush. I was not able to alter the sweetness level but still tasted not entirely too sweet. Tasted ok only because it had large amounts of uncrushed ice in it. Would return next time but I would probably order their milk tea instead.

Great spot specializing in Bubble tea. The line was long but so worth it. They have sooo many options for flavors and types of tea as well as boba. If you're in the mood for some bubble tea, this is the place to go!

Mango green tea with pudding
Stephanie L.

Such a great bubble tea chain. Their teas are always consistent and they never disappoint! Their app makes ordering and paying really easy. I always go for the mango green tea. It has bits of mango fruit in it which is a bonus. I always get this with either a jelly or the pudding. Their milk teas are also delicious and I recommend the classic black milk tea with tapioca or the Thai milk tea.

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

This swanky, hip place…read moreoffers up elevated tasty food and superb service in an exquisitely decorated, albeit small, cafe. We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.
