This service here is ridiculous. I walked in with my family for some teas and had simple questions about the different types of teas. The attitude in the responses i received made me walk out. There was no reason for it. I'm simply a customer looking to spend some money and have some basic questions about the teas. The eye rolling and sarcastic response from your female employee was humiliating. I will never step foot in here again. I ended up just leaving without ordering anything due to her attitude. Please know that there were no customers in the building and the 2 employees were sitting down when I walked in. It makes sense to me now as to why it was empty. I was initially very impressed with KFT when I first started coming here, but since it's been a few years I thought I would give an update. I always get the taro slush with boba and other than the $0.50 price hike, the drink is sometimes icy, something I'm not a fan of. The drink never used to be icy, but now it's hit or miss. I always order via the app and it's been smooth. The rewards program sucks though, you have to order a million drinks before you get any kickback. If the price of the drink increases a bit more I'll have to consider getting my boba fix elsewhere. read more

I had a terrible experience at Kung-fu and I avid customer since trying kung-fu tea in taiwan. Unfortunately, this kung-fu tea was not even busy and it took at least 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The lady seemed upset that we were ordering and she said they were closing at 10. Then The top of my drink wasn't sealed properly, and it spilled everywhere. When we asked if they could replace it, she laughed in my daughter's face while making themselves a drink. The customer service was beyond disappointing. Avoid this place at all costs. I will be switching to ShareTea. There are also a lot of choices when it comes to toppings. I also like Kung Fu because you have the option to adjust the sweetness level, more sugar or less sugar, just to your personal liking. When Kung Fu Tea first came I didn't really understand the hype. I had gotten a variety of different milk teas with boba but I have finally realized what makes this place so good it's actually their regular teas/fruit teas! I ordered the KFT with grass jelly and it was absolutely delicious! I loved how their grass jelly tasted and the texture of it as well. (Certain places the grass jelly has a weird after taste and the chunks of it aren't big). I'll definitely be back to this location. On a side note the place is very clean and quiet perfect place for college students to study during the day or for people to come buy a drink and eat lunch with coworkers. Good tea, no wait. Prices are higher than what I would expect for Texas, but that might be because there are relatively few boba places here. They have a loyalty program, and I would recommend signing up for it if you're a boba fiend. There's plenty of parking in the adjacent shared parking lot, and once you're inside, the there are plenty of tables as well. The biggest issues were the prices and the experience. The prices here are right in line with Los Angeles and San Francisco, and given how inexpensive everyone else in Texas and Plano are, this was a bit surprising. Also, everyone was kicked out well before the posted closing times in not the most polite way. Not a big deal, and I'm not sure what was going on with that, but it definitely stuck out enough that I remember it and am writing about it. I was really excited last year to learn that Kung Fu Tea was opening a new location in Plano and that it was so close to my workplace! Didn't get a chance to check them out until this week. They have some of the best tapioca around and this location does not disappoint. The slightly honey-sweet flavor and texture are both excellent, and match well with my go-to drink, the wintermelon tea. I've also tried the oolong milk tea at 70% sweetness, and I really enjoy the interplay of the sharpness of the tea with the sweetness of the boba. The interior is spacious and clean, and the cashier who rang me up was quick to let me know that the stamp card I'd been using at the Richardson location was also usable at the Plano location. He was also nice enough to re-stamp the original stamp that I had gotten, as it was fading a lot. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future! read more

First time at this location. The setup was nice and well-lit inside. There wasn't a line to order but many people were waiting on their drinks when we got there. Our drinks were ready in less than ten minutes. I decided to try the mango snow slush with nata jelly and the honey oolong milk tea with pudding and fig jelly. Both were delicious and hit the spot. The mango snow slush tasted similar to a mango yogurt. The honey oolong milk tea had the perfect amount of honey flavor. I was very happy with both of the drinks today. Maybe not this location, but definitely a regular on the weekends. Location - Located in Plano off Coit and Parker in a shopping plaza, it is actually a little hidden. The place itself is decent sized, but can get packed on the weekends. Very close to UTD. Staff - Very friendly. They will suggest great items based on what your preference. What I ordered: Large Oolong Milk Tea, Less Ice, Extra Sweet (super sweet tooth here), with Egg Pudding and Mung Bean (I sometimes order Red Bean) - $~5 - I do not know why, but this is my favorite drink to get here. This location also has fig jelly, which I am indifferent with. I have ordered their slushes (Mango is really good). I also enjoy their black tea from time to time. I've been to this Kung Fu tea two times, and both times they were ill-prepared. Around spring this past year, when I asked for boba they only had "mini boba" which wasn't the same experience unfortunately... I was pretty bummed considering we drove out of our way to this location when there were other Boba spots closer. More recently, I came after lunch to grab a quick boba drink for the road before meeting friends for golfing. However, "quick" was not the case. My boyfriend and I sat there for around 20 minutes for our order of 2 boba drinks. I could tell they were getting backed up with orders because other people were standing and sitting around waiting too... Maybe I'm spoiled with getting my boba made within 5 minutes in the DC area at those Kung Fu Tea locations, (or even in NYC boba shops) but one thing is for sure- this KFT is not up to par with the others I've been to. KFT is my boba chain of choice! I always get their Pineapple Sunshine Tea with mango jellies. It's sweet, fresh, and perfect for the summertime. I'm definitely glad to have a location in Plano so I can get my boba fix. There are some downsides to this place though. Firstly, the music is really loud so it's hard to have a conversation here. Forget trying to get some work done. Secondly, it's usually overrun with high school kids (Karen Dillards College Prep is right next door) which isn't necessarily a downside but definitely adds chaos in comparison to the other KFTs I've visited. The tea at KFT is consistently good! Today, I caught up with a friend over an iced black tea with little (30%) sugar. With 30% sugar, it wasn't too sweet nor too bitter - just the way I like my tea. I came right when the shop opened at 11:30am and stayed until 2:30pm. Because this location is conveniently near a KD SAT Prep Center, it wasn't surprising that a lot of their customers were students coming before or after their class. There was a constant flow of customers in and out, but this store is still great for catching up with a friend, going on a date, or studying. That oolong milk tea with aiyu jelly (fig jelly) is AWESOME! Most of their milk tea is pretty good and so is their red milk wow tea which is basically red beans and milk lol. Wait time isn't long but there can be a line at times. I went in to somewhat study and bring my bf who hasn't been to a KFT yet. The milk steamer is LOUD! Super screeching and it was like that for a good few seconds. During the 2 hrs I was there, the screeching sound came out around 3 times. On top of that, there were some students who were so loud. I know I'm not in the library but dang, everyone else was not loud and BAM, we have ppl who are loud. The location is super convenient and close to UTD so plus!
