Despite the parking lot construction, this place is our new "starbucks". The menu is a bit overwhelming and maybe that it is just really basic and simple but there isn't much of a description to help you make your decision as to what to order other than hot, cold, s/m/large, do I want additions (bubbles, etc.). For instance, what is the difference between mango and mango snow? Pricing is a bit much but hey, so is Starbucks. The store is run by a lot of young teenager so don't expect much customer service. Great tea. Good location to an area that hasn't had a good boba place since escape. I think their drinks are a little sweet "diabetus" so I ask for half or 30% sugar. The boba is always on point soft and chewy with a good sweetness from whatever they soak those little balls in. read more

I'm not sure if they were just having an off day, but my sister got the oolong milk tea and it tasted incredibly odd and different than what we've tried at other locations. I'm a big fan of the oolong milk tea, but the herb/medicine like flavor was very strong and tasted like they accidentally over dumped sugar. That said it won't stop me from coming back. read more

So... this place is convenient for us, so I wanted to love it. Unfortunately it was just okay. I got the coconut milk tea and my husband had the coffee milk tea. Both had way too much of the overly sweet milk. Mine actually became gritty towards the end. The Boba bubbles had a great flavor and texture. If I went here again, I think I would try regular tea, and maybe do less sweetness. My favorite is still Fat Straws in Plano, hands down. There are plenty of tables and free wifi for guests. What a great place, I was so glad they are so close to my work place, I always get the original hot milk tea, it has very strong of tea flavor that u can tell is not made from powders, i used to order from snowflake but now this is the new place, it just so much better and I do see they have some good dessert and I can't wait to try them next time. read more

I always get some deserts or bubble teas after Tuesday wing night with my younger brother, so we decided to stop by Kung Fu Tea. I always get the Honey Milk Green Tea here, and it's DIVINE! However,tonight I was feeling more of a fruity tea, so I asked one of the staff members what would be a light, but refreshing fruit tea and they recommended me two options: Orange Green Tea & the Strawberry Lemon Green Tea. They said that those two drinks were one of the teas on their menu that has freshly squeezed juice in them,so we got both. Based on my past experiences, I know that other local tea shop always put like fruit syrups and stuff into the drink for its flavoring, so I watched them made my drink and sure enough they do use fresh juices and fruit jams! I like that there's a healthier alternative choice for when you just want something fresh & light, but without the additives. What prompted me to write a review for this place is when the drink came out, it was beatifully crafted. I'm officially impressed. Definitely will be returning! My family and I tried out kung fu tea after lunch and i thought it was ok. We ordered the caramel machiatto, strawberry milk slush, yogurt orange, and kung fu milk tea. My kung fu milk tea was ok, but I should've asked for it to be sweeter. My kids enjoyed their fruity drinks. The yogurt orange tastes like orange juice, so it was a good drink to get some probiotics in my kids. The strawberry milk slush was good. Nothing super special about the place. Staff was nice and the drinks didn't take very long so that was a plus. read more

I went to this location only because they had advertised that they offered curb side pick up due to covid, as there are many other boba places in Plano. Once I got there I called to advise them to bring my order out and was told they don't do that and I would have to come in. When I asked why it stated on their page that they did, I was told that they have no idea why their page stated that but that they can't bring it out. Needless to say, I went to pick it up and the young lady at the counter was very apologetic but still insisted she had no idea why it was on their page. Their drinks also weren't great either. I asked for 70% sweetness in my pineapple tea with boba and it was still too sweet, as well as the pineapple juice having an off taste although the tiny little chunks were fresh pineapple. I give them 1 for the service and 2 for the drink but I'm rounding down as I'm not happy that they're advertising as service they won't provide. read more

Amazing! Great boba tea place. Their boba is always good and I enjoy their milk teas. I always get the classic milk tea. They also offer wifi which is the perfect place to study except weekends. I ordered the KF Milk Tea and it was D-LICIOUS! The foam on top was very UH-PEELING! This was achieved by this awesome machine that they use: THE JIGGLER! (ionno, some drink shaker). TWICE that I've been here the same Kung Fu Tea guy worker almost hit me with his car because he was running late to work. He made my drink completely wrong too. I asked for 2 jellies and no boba, and instead got boba and no jellies. The drink he made tasted bitter and made me feel sick, even though I got my usual Mango green tea. He also kept touching the rim and inside of the cup as he made my drink, so his hands touched where the drink was going. Yuck! The KFT on N. Central Expy & campbell is way better. read more

Wanted to check this place out due to the hype. Unfortunately it did not live up to it. The tea was ok but the boba bubbles were disappointing. The boba makes the drink special and unique. As a boba drinker for the past 16 years I would say that I know what I am talking about. The boba should not be all connected and gelatinous. Each draw through the straw should deliver individual boba vs a glob. Improve your boba and your customers will have a great drink experience. read more

I have to say I had just had the worst experience ever here. The line wasn't that long and it over 10 mins to place my order. The guy at the counter said it would take about 5 minutes to get my drink because of the amount of orders. Since I only ordered one drink, I didn't think it would take a long time to get it. I waited over 30 minutes to get my drink. Three people who were behind me got their drinks before I did. The bad part was that they didn't forget to make my drink, they had it sitting on the counter for the longest time. They didn't even apologize for taking a long time. read more

What a experience. On Saturday I went to tasty cup just to grab some quick boba but I had to wait 20 minutes for one drink. On top of that the service was sickening. I then went to Kung Fu Tea the next day and I had a totally different experience. My cashier Philip was nice and informative about the drinks.
