Finally a boba tea place in santee. I like how they have a lot of selections of pearl drinks. I personally like the Thai Tea over at the joint near by, Pho Ca Dao but for the specialty drinks they have all sorts of fun selections. The reason i am giving it 3 stars was because their sweetness levels seems to be inconsistent. i would always ask for half sweet and sometimes it's still really sweet and other times it's really bitter for the milk teas that they sell. When I tell them they made it seem as if I am picky and kind of give me a weird attitude about it. I wouldn't run off to come back here to soothe a craving or anything but if I'm in the mood, what the heck, why not. read more

What makes this even more frustrating is that I came in last week and noticed the freezer wasn't working. If the fruit or frozen yogurt that thawed out is still being used, that is completely unacceptable. Food that has not been kept at a safe temperature should never be served to customers. That is a serious health and safety issue. I paid for a smoothie that I had to throw away, and I would like a full refund. More importantly, if your freezer is still not working or your ingredients have spoiled, this location should not be open until the issue is fixed. No customer should have to worry about getting sick from a smoothie. I really hope this is taken seriously because this experience was unacceptable, and I don't want anyone else to go through the same thing.
