I ordered a pina colada slush drink and added mango popping bubbles. I absolutely loved it Slush was perfect and tasty. I've never had a drink with popping bubbles before and I have to say they were pretty interesting but yummy nonetheless! Definitely thought about how much my kids would love these drinks! Environment was comfortable plenty room to sit and enjoy tables and chairs were interesting, different and pretty cool. The chair/stools swing out and were fun to sit on. It's pretty cool to watch the machine shake our drinks and wait time was reasonable. Pretty quick actually considering it was a busy night for them! Employees were friendly and very informative about drinks. Prices were decent and extra for toppings so expect to pay at least $5 unless you get something pretty basic like a coffee or tea. read more

Kung Fu tea is 10 minutes away from my house. This is dangerous. This kung fu is like the others although one thing I noticed was that this one seemed a lot bigger!! A lot more seating and outlets than the other kung fus. Maybe someday the hype of boba will calm down in NOVA and I'd be able to do some work/studying at a kung fu...probably not but a girl could dream. I ordered my go to order. The mango green tea. The cashier asked if I wanted the mango poppers that come with it...I was like mango poppers?! At all the other kung Fu locations, mango jelly always came with it so to hear I had to pay extra for jelly was a little bummer. Why do you come then you ask probably. The only reason I come here is that it's very close to home and it's on my way home. I really like this spot more compared to the one in Burke (mind you I'm not from around the area so I've only had it a couple of times while I was visiting) only because they have the popping boba and I LOVE popping boba soooooo much. Don't get me wrong, the other location is a lot bigger and it doesn't get busy but over here they make some good bubble tea. I still like the other location as well but when I came to the one in Springfield I went out of my comfort zone and got the passion fruit green tea with mango popping boba. The only complain that I have is that they were supposed to open at 11, but wasn't ready when I opened the door by 11:05, but given that they just open recently I will overlook it for now. The drink itself is well done. I got the honey oolong milk tea with half honey and bubble, and it was actually with half honey. The bubble itself was on point, probably one of the better cooked ones that I had for a while! Hopefully they keep up the good work! Boyfriend and I went here because he had been craving bubble tea with those little bobas. First off, the menu is EXTENSIVE! There are so many choices! Even choices of how sweet you want it, how much bubbles you want & so on. Since it was our first time we went basic. He had the kung fu milk tea and I got the oreo milk tea. We both really enjoyed ourselves. The oreo tea had the perfect amount of oreo bits and was delicious as a dessert. My boyfriend liked the amount of bobas that was in it because sometimes he feels like there aren't enough. They seal the top on so if you need it to go (gotta get in the car or whatever) you can leave it sealed, even turn it upside down to shake around the oreo bits. Then when you're ready you stab the top with the straw and it's ready to drink! Will definitely go back to try other flavors :) read more

I just came this location and let me tell you that they do not disappoint. ISSA TRUTH!! LOL. I got here with my friend in uniform and he was nice enough to purchase a drink for 3 coworkers. They give military discounts if you didn't already know!! So they get an extra star for supporting our troops. The line was not long when we got in and the place was clean and bright. The young woman greeted us both and asked what we wanted, asked if we wanted toppings, and was very alert to answer our questions about the different teas. We left briefly to grab a lunch as the Japanese food place around the corner but when we got back, the drinks were ready. I really wanted to love Kung Fu Tea. I have been disappointed in my local Starbucks lately and looking to try something new. The menu here is varied which appeals to me. I think no matter the season or one's tastes, there's something here for everyone. However, when I asked the lady at the register to explain the difference between the headings "milk cap" and "milk tea," she seemed annoyed rather than happy to help me. That's a turn off when you're a first time customer. However, the person who served our drinks to us was friendly. I found my drink to be interesting. I'd try it again. My daughter ordered off their Top Ten poster which was posted on the wall next to the register and very helpful for first timers like us. She loved her drink, the Strawberry Lemon Green Tea - it was listed as #1. I had the Oolong Cap (still don't know what "cap" means). The store decor is nice and it's clean. The prices are reasonable. I'll try it again because the menu is big. I might check out a "slush" drink next time. Is there tea in it? Hmmmmm. Maybe next time the person at the register will smile. I don't think that's asking too much. A customer's first interaction should be with one of a business's friendliest employees. Oh, if you wonder if Kung Fu Tea sells loose tea. They don't. read more

I like tradition and values. The line is so overly taxing before going to my Psych college classes, but the classic beverage choices are healthier and morally more responsible. What I am hoping is lower of pricing business wise of supply and demand law and more Tea shaker machines to expedite wait lines and servicing. Milk choices should also be considered as nutritional options since it affects everyones' health. Keeps me awake in class, staff are neighborly pleasant and compared to shareTea company I just like the flavors better. Yum yum yum ... ok so when the first Annandale Kung fu tea opened I was super excited ... then I got my tea and was so sad it was like sugar yellow green water. Then Kung Fu tea in Springfield opened and it's like a whole new world a whole new chain I don't know but they know what's up. For being down the street from me I thoroughly enjoy this place. They do a hands down great jobs with honey green tea. You can taste the dark tea and sugar isn't overpowering the cup.
