I am sad to write this review as a loyal kung fu tea goer but this location was disappointing for me. The teas were not as well made as others I have had at other locations. This location just opened so I would like to think maybe this was part of working out the bumps. Overall still a great boba spot especially since there isn't really one in the bay brook area. Went here with my family for Father's Day. I was truly amazed. The Coffee Milk Tea was amazing. My kids enjoyed the Strawberry Milk Slush. However I wish there was more seating. But probably good that there isn't because I would likely sit there long enough to drink several drinks. read more

I've been coming to this tapioca shop since their pre-grand opening and visit about 2-3 times a week and I am absolutely in love with their Thai milk tea. The employees here are incredibly friendly and welcoming and have even taken the extra effort to memorize my face and name which makes me feel a little bit more special like I'm not just another customer to them. While their drinks are delicious and their staff is amazing, there was time to time where I ended up having a somewhat off drink and the place as a whole felt a little bit empty decorative wise, however, they just recently opened and I can tell that most of their current employees are probably still under training so i completely understand if something was just a little bit off. I've been to most of the KFT locations here in Houston but this one may be one of the worst. I ordered a mango green tea with boba and not only were they extremely stingy for only giving me like 6 pieces of boba for my order, but the tea was awfully bitter especially when I asked for 100% sugar. The service was awful for the little amount of customers that were there. I doubt I'd ever come back unless I'm in the area and somehow have a change of heart for a desperate fix. read more

Just had my first drink here - the drink itself was fine but the tapioca was extremely hard and clumped together so I was not able to drink it from the straw. The tapioca tasted old and stale. They were extremely busy and had just opened so I'm hoping this was an anomaly and may try again in the future when they've worked out the kinks. read more

I absolutely love this place! The honey milk tea with tapioca is the best and the prices are pretty good for the size of the drinks. The service is always great since the staff is so friendly and my drink is ready within a minute. The only thing I would say is that the reward system on their app could be better since it takes forever to have enough points for a free drink. Created this account just for this review, this is how poor my experience was. Very saddened to write this but I feel the need to address such an issue. I am usually a fan of of the Clear Lake location but my opinion has changed over the past few days. Yesterday I come in for my usual drinks. No problem there-- drinks tasted fine, was not waiting long thanks to what I am about to write. The atmosphere was unbelievable. I was immediately met with an awful wave of heat. I felt a difference in temperate the moment I opened the door. I left the store and waited outside after ordering because it was quite literally COOLER OUTSIDE. And I checked the temperature, it's was 79 degrees which means it was colder than that inside the store itself. Ridiculous. I have no idea how the employees stand the heat, I could barely handle being in the store for 5 minutes. They seem to be working in an oven. It should be illegal to make them work in such conditions. Absolutely unacceptable. I have a daughter and son who look the same age as some of the workers and if I knew they had to work while sweating and without proper air conditioning I'd make them quit and work for someone with the means to provide a proper work environment. I hope whoever is in charge (MGMT? Owners??) shows some care for their workers and their customers, I will NOT be back to this location until this issue is solved. read more

I'm so disappointed. Whoever run the new creation of Kung Fu milk tea is so WRONG. It's SUPER sweet, and doesnt tasted any milk at all. However, I still gave them 4 stars, Cuz this is new location. However, it wasn't tasted like this before. Hopefully, they will change, and bring back the original recipes. read more

Finally! A true boba spot opens on the southeast side of town and no longer must we venture in to the dark depths of Mordor AKA bellaire to get decent milk tea. Drinks are sweet and delightful as need be for traditional milk tea (they don't have the chocolate milk after taste like the mom and pop shops nearby). Prices are equivalent to competitors in Bellaire so no complaints here. Kudos Ben and John. Hope y'all are here for the long run! read more

I go to Kung Fu Tea about once a week. Never had an issue with quality of drinks so I would have given a 5 star rating. However, on my recent visit, there was an extremely rude girl making the drink and a not-so nice cashier. The girl making my drink heard my order and literally rolled her eyes at me. I ordered a passion fruit green tea with mango. Although I thought this was rude I ignored it. When my drink came out I looked at her and told her thank you despite the attitude at first and she did not say one word to me, she just looked at me, rolled her eyes AGAIN and turned around. This was the first time I have ever had bad service here. If this continues I will not go there again despite good drinks. I contacted the owner on facebook and alerted him of the issue, they said they would take care of it. Hopefully they will.. read more

I've been to this Kung Fu Tea three times, each time hoping that the next time will be better. However, something just didn't sit right. The location- Bay Area Blvd is ideal but the place itself is very small. The first time I went, I got charged for tapioca but the lady making my tea forgot to put it in. I realized that it was pretty crowded and she might have been overwhelmed so I just left with what she made. Not her fault for not realizing it because I never went up to tell her; I understand. The next two times I went my tea tasted funky- I guess the employees are still working on learning the proportion of ingredients or maybe the ingredients they use aren't the best . I also think that this place is quite expensive for the quantity of tea they actually give you (make sure you ask them to put less ice because 50% of the drink ends up being water), not to mention how small the size of the "medium" and "large" cups are... idk I've been to far better bubble tea places where I've gotten more for my money (in terms of taste, quality, and quantity). read more
