I've never physically dined at their restaurant (what parent to toddlers actually has time to dine-out anywhere nowadays), however, I've Doordashed from them a couple times now's and I'd have to say the flavor and authentic Thai vibe to their dishes are on point. Today I ordered their popular dry noodle dish called Tiew Haeng with beef as my protein choice, egg noodles and the spice level I chose "mild". It's basically a noodle dish that has your choice of noodle tossed a savory, sweet, and tangy sauce, topped with meats, crushed peanuts, fried garlic, and fresh herbs. I can't even begin to describe how delicious the sauce is. On top of that, the ratio of crunch with the bean sprouts and peanuts to the meat and noodles is well balanced. You also know it's a legit Thai spot when you order the spice level as "mild" and your tongue is still burning while eating. I was excited to try traditional Thai boat noodles for the first time but unfortunately this restaurant wasn't for me. The broth had a very earthy, muddy flavor that I personally didn't enjoy. I realize boat noodles are a traditional dish and many people love them, but the taste just wasn't to my palate. The beef was extremely tough and chewy and the portion size was pretty small too. We also ordered the chicken wings and they were disappointing. Six extremely small wings cost $12 and they had almost no flavor. I expected a unique dipping sauce but it tasted like a store bought sweet chili sauce. They were perfectly crisp on the outside and steaming hot and fully cooked on the inside. They came with a sweet sauce to dip/drizzle and it was the perfect portion to share. We then ordered the Boat Noodle Soup. I ordered mine with beef and no spicy, whereas my friend ordered with mild spice and beef. They offer 4 sauces that are conveniently located on each table: chili flakes, fish sauce, sugar and a spicy vinegar with a baby kick, lol! It was was super filling and I left nothing in that bowl! If you are a REAL foodie, this is the type of place you want to stumble upon, where you will find unique and tasty dishes that are not common fare. Legendary Anthony Bourdain was big proponent for noodles and Southeast Asian cuisine because of his love for the simple ingredients, yet complex flavors. He explained how the food was a perfect mix of salty, sweet, sour, tangy all balanced within the dish. The flavors here were no exception and was perfectly perfect. THAI BOAT NOODLES- Fortunately you have multiple options for your spice level, noodles, and protein, as well as other add- ins, so you can get whatever floats your boat. I chose LEVEL1 heat because I can't handle spicy, and LEVEL1 was just right with a little kick. I went with chicken and vermicelli noodles. The soup was warm and hearty and hit the spot. Great alternative to Pho or Ramen or Beef Noodle soup if you are getting tired of those. PORK LIVER SALAD- salty and tangy to level out the pungent onion and bitter iron flavor of the liver. It was somewhat heavy but refreshing at the same time. The liver was very mild actually, compared to cow liver. If you can eat Bun Bo Hue, you will stomach this, no problem. I do wish the cabbage was cut up more to make it easier to eat as part of the dish. THAI TEA- it was heavy on the tea and very sweet the way it was made that day. I like mine more creamy. Next time I will definitely request different proportions. For those timid to venture into the unknown, they do have a curry dish, pad thai, fried rice, and drunken noodles that may be a safe choice and more familiar to your taste buds. The cool thing is that there are fresh herbs growing right outside the entrance of the building, that I assume are used in the dishes? Can't get any fresher than that! And you thought it was just for decoration. The other big reason to eat here is to SUPPORT LOCAL, support SMALL BUSINESS. Date night landed us at this unique Thai restaurant that offers boat noodles. We arrived around 6pm and the place was not busy until midway through our meal. We shared the papaya salad with medium heat. Whew! This was definitely on the hotter side but we finished it! It's one of those heats that is burning your mouth but it's so good, you eat more if it! Then we had the Thai chicken wings...probably one of the best crispy wings I've had! This beats all the local wings I've had. It comes with a love chili sauce and cabbage salad. For entrees we got the panang curry with tofu. Also one of the best fried tofu in a dish that had a good amount of it. The curry itself was flavorful. I've tried theirs before when they were at the pop up location in Chandler but have not been to their new location here until last night. It took me a minute to find them. They are right next to Filiberto's. I've had boat noodles before at other restaurants and have even made it at home a few times the past! It's different than other noodle soups you would normally see and has a different flavor too. I recommend trying it at least once! For a picky eater like me, many are surprised that I eat this broth because of one ingredient it uses (I'll let you Google it haha). There are Vietnamese noodles soups that use the coagulated cubes that I won't even eat, but this broth uses the liquid version. It adds richness to the broth. My order: Thai Boat Noodles Noodles w/ beef $16 -regular rice noodles -no bean sprouts -spice level: HOT Thai Papaya Salad $13 -spice level: HOT The boat noodle was delicious! Comes with some greens, sliced beef and homemade beef meatballs. Also comes with chili vinegar and chili flakes on the side. I used the entire container of chili vinegar. Not too sweet, just the right amount of saltiness and lots of fresh bean sprouts, peanuts and fried tofu was so soft inside. First there is plenty of parking in the plaza and the place itself has quite a good number of tables. The inside is simple yet cozy. The staff were friendly and efficient. This small restaurant popped up in the neighborhood about five and a half months ago. I've been hearing good things so today my wife and I decided to give it a go. The restaurant is small but pretty clean and organized. The owners were very friendly. And the food was amazing. We started off with the sun dried pork off of the appetizer menu. This dish is awesome! To me it was like a chicharone and a thick cut piece of bacon combined. The seasoning was delicious and the sauce was spectacular. A little tangy and a little spicy. She, being a native of Southern Thailand and having a pallet for Thai cuisine, it is extremely hard for her to be pleased/impressed by any Thai restaurant. The fact that she suggested that we eat here and for her to want to visit a Thai eatery 2X is a major statement. Most times I will suggest eating or trying a new Thai establishment and the answer is always a flat NO! The food here was absolutely GREAT and it rivals some of the top Thai restaurants that we have tried in Los Angeles. The food is extremely tasty and of really great quality. I started off with their handmade egg rolls, which were absolutely exquisite. We followed with main courses of their Beef Penang and my wife had Thai Cucumber salad. All were spiced just right. For desert We had The Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. It was to DIE FOR!!! The Mango was ripened to perfection and the desert was an overall 10. The ambience of the restaurant is rather simple and dining is very casual. While we were were there we ran into Instagram influencer @foodiehand and ruby. A few of my friends heard about this place and asked me to try it out first and report back to them my thoughts. After a few visits, I can safely say that this is probably the best Thai boat noodles I've had so far in Arizona! So far for non-noodle items, we have tried the pork meatballs, the fish bomb, pork jerky, and the Thai wings from the special menu. The accompanying sauce for the meatballs was simply delicious. It was sweet but also had a nice subtle spice to it. The pork jerky was nice and crispy, not soggy at all. Now for the boat noodles, the broth was aromatic and rich in flavor, not overly salty at all. So far, I've tried the boat noodle soup with pork and with beef. The pork was a little bit too tough for my preferences, but the beef was nice and tender. If you're not sure on what spice to level to get, I recommend starting off with mild and adjusting to your preferences with the supplied condiments that are on the table. The portions are quite generous and well worth the price, sometimes it's a struggle to finish it all in one sitting. The ambiance of the place is simple but also comfortably inviting. Now that they have their own restaurant in Gilbert I was super excited to try especially with extended hours and availability. The beef was super tender, and the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The flavors were excellent as is - there is no need to add the condiments on the table at all. We also ordered non-boat noodle dishes. Pork Laab tasted just like what you'd get in Thailand. Khao Poon (rice noodle in red curry broth) was also great and can't be found anywhere else in Phoenix. This is one of my favorite restaurants for boat noodles. I believe this establishment opened this year, the menu is still growing, parking is decent, and family ran business. I've been to a few Thai restaurants, this one is by far the most authentic (for boat noodles). The menu just added Lao style papaya and Thai style. The restaurant has about 8-10 tables, it gets busy during lunch hours and there is one waiter/cashier. I try to order during off hours as one time a to go order took about 45 minutes so plan accordingly if you do not have the time. Got the boat noodle soups in chicken and beef. The meatballs were delicious! Soup was flavorful and on the thicker side. My only issue was that the noodles were overcooked, too soft and no bounce. I got some sticky rice for dessert and the rice was packed a bit too much into the heart shaped mold. Wish it was shaped into the mold a bit looser for more bounce and chew. It was a bit more work to chew since it was a thick piece of rice. The maraschino cherry was really strong and that flavor stuck onto the rice a bit more than the coconut milk. Thai boat was just ok. I'm starting my search for Thai boat in and around the Phoenix area, and was soo excited to see this restaurant name. Had high expectations, but it definitely fell flat. I did like that it was hearty and meaty. Most of all, the noodles were packed well for takeout. My issue is the broth tasted about the same quality as powdered/jar Thai boat broth. Just bland and lacking. I am giving high stars because this is probably decent for AZ. read more

My wife and I have date night once a week. We make a regular habit of visiting all the different thai restaurants in the valley. Thai boat noodle is without a doubt, the best we have encountered so far. The food is obviously very fresh. We had five different dishes on our table before we were done. They each had their own distinct flavor. The last few times we have visited other Thai restaurants, the heat range has been very disappointing. When I mentioned that to our host, he warned me that they use nothing but fresh chilies and that the hot was definitely hot. I heeded his warning, and the four, instead of five was just right for me! We were a total of 8 in the party. We were the only ones when we got there. The individual who took our messed up in several ways. 1. We ordered 2 coffees and one Thi tea. The tea had a big piece of paper floating in it and he forgot one of the coffees. 2. We were given chicken wings We didnt order. But instead of letting us keep it he took it. So I wonder who got served cold chicken wings? 3. We all got our food except for one person in our party. By this time other people entered the restaurant. And we are still waiting for this person's food. So we asked about it twice. We were told that it was given to another table. By the third time we asked he told us they forgot to make it. We canceled the order because we were all finished eating. We all shared our food because we felt terrible. No apologies and the service was terrible. No asking how's the food, or if we needed or wanted anything. The food was not bad but we wont we returning. We tired it and that was enough. read more
