Jinya has is absolutely fantastic Ramen. I really love the lunch special. You get Ramen and crispy tuna absolutely ridiculous. Such a special lunch. Our server was Eden She was super sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed Nolan Grace Wine. The ambience is extremely aesthetically, pleasing with a gorgeous gogo geisha girl painted on the wall. You can go there for a date, lunch dinner also, the bar is fantastic.
We were exited to try their ramen but unfortunately, the ramen didn't live up to expectations. During the week they have a great lunch special with three different ramen options and a couple of crispy rice with spicy tuna for only $18. We both ordered the Jinya Tonkatsu Black. I was disappointed that the broth wasn't as rich and flavorful as I expected from a tonkatsu ramen. The noodles were definitely not cooked right as I expected chewy and bouncy noodles but the noodles left a raw flour taste in my mouth instead. We also tried the Nikuman bun which was just ok. It definitely needed more filling. The highlight of the meal was definitely the matcha tiramisu. It was soooo good! That alone would make me go back for dessert. The service was fantastic which I really appreciated. Overall, I wouldn't return for the ramen, but I'd absolutely go back for that matcha tiramisu!
I've eaten a lot of ramen in my life and this one just wasn't my cup of tea. I got the tonkatsu black ramen and the broth was rather weak for my taste. Did not leave me craving for that next spoonful. I also did not like the noodles they had a muddy flavor and I ended up taking most of the noodles to my dog as he loves any kind of noodles. Crispy rice with spicy tuna was not so good either as it was lacking that deep flavor I love. Our server was attentive and very nice which made the experience much more enjoyable.

I have no idea what they do different! My order is the Jinya Tonkotsu Black, swap out the thin for thick noodles, and I ask for fresh garlic to press on the side-- it's literally the perfect bowl of ramen (at least in my books!). Super garlic heavy, great texture, and the spice isn't overwhelming. I recommend adding yourself to the waitlist before heading to the restaurant, just so you can avoid waiting. Usually there isn't too much of a wait though! One thing to note is the music is a little loud in the evenings, so expect to raise your voice a little if you're looking to chat with friends.

Came in 7/31/26, and I got the Creamy Tonkotsu, which is limited edition until end of August. It was really good, with the creamy and fatty rich broth. I like the veggie they put on top of it as well. During lunch time there are 3 types of ramen you can get for $18/bowl, which comes with the crispy rice tuna appetizer. The crispy rice tuna was delicious. The tuna tasted fresh and I like the texture of the chewy crispy rice. Also tried Jinya chicken ramen: the chicken broth was delicious. I tried the Tonkotsu red. It's nice that you get to choose the spicy level from 1 to 10. I got a medium maybe a 5 or 6, which was perfect. I love all the eggs in ramen that it's soft boiled and gooey on the inside and has a light flavor on the outside. Overall Jinya is definitely a staple whenever I crave ramen!
Our party of 4 was seated immediately around 8:15pm ish, outside, underneath all the misters. Our server was SO SO nice I wish I got his name, i want to describe him so he gets some kind of acknowledgement, maybe he was Hispanic and he had a flannel tied around his waist if I remember correctly? However he recommended me and my other friend go with the Birria beef ramen instead of the other option we were considering, a decision we both regret! I usually go with chicken ANYTHING cause it has the most flavor, we both found the birria ramen to be pretty bland. It was also a crazy small portion for $20. I was super underwhelmed. We even went Nextdoor and got dessert then looked for a place to get tacos, that's how unfulfilled we were after this meal. We got enough attention and service sitting outside just as we would get sitting inside, the service is great, the food just overpriced and not the most flavorful. I think I should stick with Pho!
Excellent ramen bar in downtown Chandler! This was our first time coming here and we absolutely loved it. From the ambiance, staff, food - everything was excellent! The menu has tons of options to choose from. If you're not familiar with ramen, the menu explains the dishes very well. We tried the Spicy Chicken and Tonkotsu Black. Both were delicious! You can customize them with add ons however you like as well, which is awesome. The location is small so utilize the waitlist feature on the website or Yelp. It gets very busy! They do have a full bar here also for drinks. If you like ramen, or looking for a new spot, I recommend coming to Jinya!
Stopped in again today and it was again delicious! Service is always great and they got us seated right away despite being really busy. A lot of their seating is at the bar, so as long as you're open to that seating hasn't been too much of an issue for us. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking for a great dinner date night spot, this is your place! Our server, Sammy was so friendly and attentive and provided great customer service! We came for happy hour and it's very reasonably priced! We got the mio sake for $9 and the chicken Ramen as well as salmon poke tacos, we also got fried chicken and crispy tuna bites. Everything was so delicious and the tacos tasted very fresh; the fried chicken was a little greasy- otherwise everything else was fantastic. 5/5
Food was good. Ramen had flavor and the gyoza were crispy. Service was fine, but our apps came out way after our dinner. Timing killed the flow of the meal. Still worth a return for the food. Place looked great and cozy.
Service was attentive. Tables are a little squished together. The ramen was hearty with al dente noodles. I liked how the ramen comes with a lot of toppings.

Great food, atmosphere, and customer service my friends had a few requests and despite the busyness they handled all our requests very quickly. I've come here multiple times and I will continue to do so. Fun with friends and family, and it's not super expensive. read more
Watch out, Look out! Pure ramen bliss awaits you! Along with other delicious bites! We had a craving for some authentic ramen and been wanting to try JINYA for a while now. No we said "no longer!" and went for lunch. The atmosphere is super chill with a great vibe. Love true set up of the restaurant, very cool. We were greeted in the traditional Japanese Izakaya style. I was trying not to get not to get my hopes up! The menu is perfect, not a gazillion options, straight and to the point. We ordered tacoyaki for an appetizer, the JINYA Tonkotsu Black ramen and the Birria Raman(!?!?). I know Birria ramen is not traditional, but love the idea of fusing the two. Ok, the food was hands down amazing. Some of the best ramen we have had in a very long time. Super flavorful and nice serving size! Our hostess, Chelsea, is awesome and did an outstanding job explaining the menu and answering any questions we had. Chelsea had our food to us in a snap and staggered the appetizer and entrees perfectly. All in all a perfect way to spend some time relaxing and enjoying great food. Junk!! Absolute daylight robbery. You get one piece of protein that literally is the size of your thumb for a price tag of $20+ The soup is extremely salty and they put a crapload of whole garlic quads which make it taste like a dud I cannot believe for a skimpy quantity of noodles and hardly any protein or veggies they charge so much $$$ Unacceptable I did order a side of steamed broccolini and that was really good taste Don't go unless u want to waste money and come out hungry read more

This was actually a recommendation from the judge who was presiding over the case I had to sit in jury duty for. I figured it was time for *me* to be the judge on this food pick of his! It wasn't too busy on a weekday for lunch so I figured it would be a good place to have my meal and be able to get back to the courthouse in time. In addition to their ramen bowls they have rice bowls in a regular and small portion size. I wasn't too hungry but I knew I would probably get hungry later while at the trial so I opted for the small chicken chashu bowl. It took a little longer than I thought it would since it was just a rice bowl but I still had enough time to eat and pay when it arrived. It was a really appealing looking bowl with an enticing aroma. The bowl includes "slow-braised chicken breast 'chashu', ground chicken soboro, kikurage namul, simmered shiitake mushroom, green onion, seasoned egg and sesame seeds" according to their website. The chicken was plentiful and well seasoned and I enjoyed all the other elements in the bowl. Service was pleasant and friendly. I was checked on as needed and water was refilled. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go here again if I had a craving for Japanese food in downtown Chandler. read more
You can sign up on the waitlist on the way there since it does get busy! Located in downtown Chandler, there are street parking and a garage available. The ramen is always on point. The favorite is the Jinya Tonkotsu Black. Very flavorful broth. I love how it does not get saltier as you eat like other ramen shops. The chicken ramen is also good if you are in the food for a chicken broth. I really like how thin the noodles are. Service was great! Clean restaurant. Lots of tables indoor and outdoors. You can sign up for the rewards and claim a free Nikuman bun or mochi after sign up. read more
We meet some friends here and had such a good time. Our friends were able to call ahead and grab us a table. There is a bar near the entrance, a dining counter near the kitchen, banquettes, and some long high tops. There is a really cool mural on one wall. There is a patio outb front with plenty of seating Our server was great--very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out pretty quickly, and everything was delicious. Came here on a little lunch date with my cousin for the first time. I typically don't care for ramen places due to the lack of flavor in broths, but I was thoroughly impressed with this place. They had a great lunch special going on, your choice of ramen with option A, crispy spicy tuna bites or option B which was like a little appetizer sampler with ramen, both prices were different. I went with the Tonkatsu Black ramen and added some of their seasoning sauce into it and it was magical. The tuna bites were alright. Atmosphere was nice, decorations were pretty neat. Bathroom ambience was also nice, decent lighting for selfies lol Parking in this area I always hated. Will definitely be back to try out other ramens. read more

The last few times Ive ordered Jinya it has been via door dash and the food is just as good as sitting in the restaurant. The ordering process online is simple and I always add something new so I can try the full menu. Everything comes packaged, sealed, fresh and hot. The wait is often 30-45mins and its always worth it. This time I ordered the shrimp wonton ramen, the broth was delicious and the wontons are packed with filling, also tried the crispy chicken and ordered the fresh garlic to dip on the side. These were even better when I air fried the leftover pieces the next day. Definitely give Jinya a try if you're in the Chandler area, or order online if you prefer to eat in the comfort of home. We went to the Downtown Chandler location on a Wednesday at 6:30pm to celebrate a birthday. I was seated right away. Our server was pleasant and kind. The restaurant is lively with upbeat music and the lighting is dark and moody. We were still able to have a conversation and enjoy each-other's company. They have outdoor seating as well. They offer happy hour that ends at 6pm. We ordered the following items: small plates: Brussels Sprouts Tempura $8.90 Sautéed Broccolini $7.60 Ramen: Spicy Creamy V Ramen $18.20 JINYA Tonkotsu Black $18.20 Spicy Chicken Ramen $17.90 You are able to add additional topping to your ramen for an extra cost. Speciality Cocktails: Yuzu Margarita $17 Lycheetini $14 Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the ramen. The Spicy Creamy V Ramen broth was packed with flavor. The noodles were thick and my friends really enjoyed their food as well and said the Lycheetini was really good. We had e a great dinner and would come back again. read more
I went to JINYA for the first time after being invited and it was such a nice experience. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, especially the Spicy Chicken Ramen with a seasoned egg. The broth had great depth and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The vibe was modern and lively, and the staff was friendly even though you could tell they were a little rushed. Being from Chicago, I've had plenty of great ramen, so my expectations were reasonable--but this place missed the mark. The cucumber salad was completely bland and needed spice. The edamame had no salt or flavor at all--it tasted like it was just steamed and tossed on a plate. The ramen itself was decent and had good flavor, but that's about where the positives end. The service was flat-out disappointing. The staff barely checked on us, didn't bother to ask if we needed refills or anything else, even with three small kids at the table. It honestly felt like they were more focused on pushing alcoholic drinks than actually taking care of customers. For a place with such a trendy vibe, the lack of attention and hospitality was surprising. Not sure I'd bother coming back--there are plenty of ramen spots that actually care about their guests. read more
Janessa at the bar is a total sweetheart, so warm and helpful. I reached a little nibble so went with just a small house salad and a snack side of thin noodles that I dressed up with soy sauce and lime. Perfect for wetting my appetite! Still definitely be back! The side salad was so great! Dressing was perfect and tasty, portion generous! The noodles were a touch dry but The gyoza sauce and seasoning sauce on the bar are delicious and a perfect compliment! The hot sauce was flavorful too, just too hot for me. I would have loved to try the crunchy cucumber salad but they had just sold or mout. Definitely next time! We got the Jinya Tonkatsu Black, Jinya Tonkatsu Red ramen, and Crispy chicken. We loved the ramen!! Best ramen so far in Phoenix. Husband liked the chicken but I think it needed a better sauce to pair with, maybe kewpie mayo. Price was not bad too, total bill was $50 plus tip. Ambiance was great. They have indoor and outdoor dining options. They have misters on during summer. Service was fine but not the best. Our server forgot 1 of our order so make sure to let your server repeat your order. Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely come back. Hopefully they'll open in Tempe read more
Food, service, and atmosphere was all great! The drinks were delicious as well. My boyfriend said the bao bun was one of the best he's had. One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Chandler and I'll definitely be returning. A fair amount of vegan options as well read more

As a ramen lover, I've been wanting to try Jinya for awhile now. This place always seems full when I've driven by so I was excited to finally try it. My fam and I came on Mother's Day for an early dinner. We were greeted right away and managed to grab the last open table. We came at the right time and beat the line that formed after us. Our waiter was nice and attentive. We ordered the crispy rice and spicy tuna starter. Comes in 3 pieces. They were ok but I've had better. I like when the rice is lightly crisp on a couple sides, this seems like it was just deep fried as a whole. * The Jinya chicken ramen had a nice clean flavor to the broth. I wish the noodles were Al dente but maybe that's something I had to order? * The tonkotsu black was ok. The broth wasn't very rich or flavorful, didn't blow me away. Jinya Ramen Bar in Downtown Chandler has been in my rotation of ramen spots since they opened back in 2021. I've visited a few times now, and every visit has been consistently satisfying--especially when I'm in the mood for a particular style of ramen. I'm a big fan of chicken broth, so I went with the Spicy Chicken Ramen: chicken chashu, spinach, spicy bean sprouts, and green onion, served with thin noodles in a rich chicken broth. I ordered it at the spicy spice level because I love my ramen with some serious heat--and it definitely delivered! Bold, flavorful, and just the kick I was craving. To pair with the meal, I tried the Yuzu Margarita, which was super refreshing and balanced out the heat of the ramen perfectly. Light, citrusy, and exactly what I needed. The bartender was very generous and friendly also. If you find yourself in Downtown Chandler and you're craving a comforting, spicy, and flavorful bowl of ramen, Jinya is absolutely worth checking out. I loved loved LOVED my meal at Jinya Ramen Bar. I went over for a lunch date and was not disappointed. I may not be the best ramen critic as I've only had ramen at one other place before but I'd say Jinya definitely tops it by 10! The service was quick and attentive, no complaints at all. The atmosphere was clean, casual, and vibey. Perfect for a lunch date or dinner date. I ordered their Black Tonkotsu and it was delicious! I'd definitely order it again! read more

Ok. First this is quite possibly the best ramen in the entire valley. Popular chain from California servicing it up right here in Chandler. Thanks for saving us the 6+ hour drive. But... In AZ people complain when the restaurants set their thermostats too cold...like 65...when it is 70, 80, 90 or even 100+ outside. People freeze and get uncomfortable. But now it is winter this restaurant thinks it is OK to leave the entire window wall open when it is 50, 60 degrees outside. What a horrible uncomfortable cold experience that is. The cold spewing into the entire restaurant. People bundling up at their tables. Soups/food getting cold on the counter. Poor employees suffering in the cold. People wearing hats and gloves at the bar. The wind blowing in from outside and sending the rancid dirty bleach smell from the bar dishwasher into the restaurant. I about vomited right there on the table. No matter how good the overpriced food is...being cold is miserable. That is why snowbirds come to AZ...to get away from the cold. Do the patrons a favor...close that wall once the sun goes down. People that like the cold can sit on the patio. People that like it comfortable will come inside. The cold plunge is not supposed to be a dining experience. read more
