We meet some friends here and had such a good time. Our friends were able to call ahead and grab us a table. There is a bar near the entrance, a dining counter near the kitchen, banquettes, and some long high tops. There is a really cool mural on one wall. There is a patio outb front with plenty of seating Our server was great--very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out pretty quickly, and everything was delicious. Our table ordered: *Espresso martini *Matcha lychee lemonade *Lucky Dog sake juice box *Spicy creamy shrimp tempura *Crispy rice with spicy tuna *Salmon poke mini tacos *Crunchy cucumber salad *Brussel sprouts tempura *Garlic rice with pork *Two kinds of ramen (sorry! I don't know what kind!) Everything was delicious, and everyone gave the thumbs up. This is the kind of place with a lot to choose from, so great for groups. I definitely recommend it!

Came here on a little lunch date with my cousin for the first time. I typically don't care for ramen places due to the lack of flavor in broths, but I was thoroughly impressed with this place. They had a great lunch special going on, your choice of ramen with option A, crispy spicy tuna bites or option B which was like a little appetizer sampler with ramen, both prices were different. I went with the Tonkatsu Black ramen and added some of their seasoning sauce into it and it was magical. The tuna bites were alright. Atmosphere was nice, decorations were pretty neat. Bathroom ambience was also nice, decent lighting for selfies lol Parking in this area I always hated. Will definitely be back to try out other ramens.

Service was attentive. Tables are a little squished together. The ramen was hearty with al dente noodles. I liked how the ramen comes with a lot of toppings.

You can sign up on the waitlist on the way there since it does get busy! Located in downtown Chandler, there are street parking and a garage available. The ramen is always on point. The favorite is the Jinya Tonkotsu Black. Very flavorful broth. I love how it does not get saltier as you eat like other ramen shops. The chicken ramen is also good if you are in the food for a chicken broth. I really like how thin the noodles are. Service was great! Clean restaurant. Lots of tables indoor and outdoors. You can sign up for the rewards and claim a free Nikuman bun or mochi after sign up.

This was actually a recommendation from the judge who was presiding over the case I had to sit in jury duty for. I figured it was time for *me* to be the judge on this food pick of his! It wasn't too busy on a weekday for lunch so I figured it would be a good place to have my meal and be able to get back to the courthouse in time. In addition to their ramen bowls they have rice bowls in a regular and small portion size. I wasn't too hungry but I knew I would probably get hungry later while at the trial so I opted for the small chicken chashu bowl. It took a little longer than I thought it would since it was just a rice bowl but I still had enough time to eat and pay when it arrived. It was a really appealing looking bowl with an enticing aroma. The bowl includes "slow-braised chicken breast 'chashu', ground chicken soboro, kikurage namul, simmered shiitake mushroom, green onion, seasoned egg and sesame seeds" according to their website. The chicken was plentiful and well seasoned and I enjoyed all the other elements in the bowl. Service was pleasant and friendly. I was checked on as needed and water was refilled. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Overall it was a good experience and I'd go here again if I had a craving for Japanese food in downtown Chandler.

I love Jinya Ramen, even on a bad day-call me biased. This restaurant always has people and it's very active inside. The staff was very accommodating for my wife and I, since we also had a baby + stroller with us. The order: * chicken ramen 5/5 * tonkostsu black 5/5 * salmon, poke tacos 4/5, smaller than I thought * nikuman buns, free with sign up promo, but otherwise pricey

We got the Jinya Tonkatsu Black, Jinya Tonkatsu Red ramen, and Crispy chicken. We loved the ramen!! Best ramen so far in Phoenix. Husband liked the chicken but I think it needed a better sauce to pair with, maybe kewpie mayo. Price was not bad too, total bill was $50 plus tip. Ambiance was great. They have indoor and outdoor dining options. They have misters on during summer. Service was fine but not the best. Our server forgot 1 of our order so make sure to let your server repeat your order. Overall, it was a good experience and would definitely come back. Hopefully they'll open in Tempe

The last few times Ive ordered Jinya it has been via door dash and the food is just as good as sitting in the restaurant. The ordering process online is simple and I always add something new so I can try the full menu. Everything comes packaged, sealed, fresh and hot. The wait is often 30-45mins and its always worth it. This time I ordered the shrimp wonton ramen, the broth was delicious and the wontons are packed with filling, also tried the crispy chicken and ordered the fresh garlic to dip on the side. These were even better when I air fried the leftover pieces the next day. Definitely give Jinya a try if you're in the Chandler area, or order online if you prefer to eat in the comfort of home. You wont be disappointed.

We went to the Downtown Chandler location on a Wednesday at 6:30pm to celebrate a birthday. I was seated right away. Our server was pleasant and kind. The restaurant is lively with upbeat music and the lighting is dark and moody. We were still able to have a conversation and enjoy each-other's company. They have outdoor seating as well. They offer happy hour that ends at 6pm. We ordered the following items: small plates: Brussels Sprouts Tempura $8.90 Sautéed Broccolini $7.60 Ramen: Spicy Creamy V Ramen $18.20 JINYA Tonkotsu Black $18.20 Spicy Chicken Ramen $17.90 You are able to add additional topping to your ramen for an extra cost. Speciality Cocktails: Yuzu Margarita $17 Lycheetini $14 Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the ramen. The Spicy Creamy V Ramen broth was packed with flavor. The noodles were thick and my friends really enjoyed their food as well and said the Lycheetini was really good. We had e a great dinner and would come back again.

I went to JINYA for the first time after being invited and it was such a nice experience. The ramen was flavorful and comforting, especially the Spicy Chicken Ramen with a seasoned egg. The broth had great depth and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The vibe was modern and lively, and the staff was friendly even though you could tell they were a little rushed. Overall it was a solid first visit and I'd definitely come back if I was invited again.

Food, service, and atmosphere was all great! The drinks were delicious as well. My boyfriend said the bao bun was one of the best he's had. One of my favorite restaurants in downtown Chandler and I'll definitely be returning. A fair amount of vegan options as well

Being from Chicago, I've had plenty of great ramen, so my expectations were reasonable--but this place missed the mark. The cucumber salad was completely bland and needed spice. The edamame had no salt or flavor at all--it tasted like it was just steamed and tossed on a plate. The ramen itself was decent and had good flavor, but that's about where the positives end. The service was flat-out disappointing. The staff barely checked on us, didn't bother to ask if we needed refills or anything else, even with three small kids at the table. It honestly felt like they were more focused on pushing alcoholic drinks than actually taking care of customers. For a place with such a trendy vibe, the lack of attention and hospitality was surprising. Not sure I'd bother coming back--there are plenty of ramen spots that actually care about their guests.

Janessa at the bar is a total sweetheart, so warm and helpful. I reached a little nibble so went with just a small house salad and a snack side of thin noodles that I dressed up with soy sauce and lime. Perfect for wetting my appetite! Still definitely be back! The side salad was so great! Dressing was perfect and tasty, portion generous! The noodles were a touch dry but The gyoza sauce and seasoning sauce on the bar are delicious and a perfect compliment! The hot sauce was flavorful too, just too hot for me. I would have loved to try the crunchy cucumber salad but they had just sold or mout. Definitely next time! And the unagi inari nigiri looked great! Next time for sure!

Music is always on pointe and I would never change the look or ambiance of the place either. My last trip here though I had to ask about why the menu had stopped changing as often since we were one of two parties there in the middle of happy hour and there was a large framed picture of a bartender with a bunch of signed notes on the bottom of it beside me at the bar. It turns out that one of the oldest curators and bartenders of the bar and restaurant had passed from a drunk driving incident and I had not known at all! Gosh I was so disappointed in myself that I had ever complained about not having a new menu to try after that...but at the same time it was amazing to hear so many great anecdotes and to learn so much more about him and the history of the bar itself while dining this time. I had a lot of fun times at this bar - including remembering the first time I met that bartender and sharing that memory with the staff that told me their story. They also shared that they would be coming out with a new menu very soon and some of the new items and ideas that would be rolling out so I am also very excited to go back! New food menu tomorrow too?! What?! I was almost tempted to back today to get more of their amazing dishes from the main menu!! Thank you Cat for the amazing hospitality! I really wish it were easier to find breakfast joints with organic coffee but it can be a bit difficult to find in certain areas, such as the east valley area. This was one of a couple options I could find. We attempted to dine here for dinner on a previous occasion but it was a long wait at that time so we went elsewhere. This time we showed up around 10:15am on a Saturday in June, and we were quoted 90 minutes for two people. Fortunately there was room at the bar, so we were seated immediately. The decor is very clean and subtlety higher end. It is an open floor plan with the bar towards the front door, which is also accessible from the large patio (in cooler weather times) that has mister fans and a lot of shade. They have one of the nicest and cleanest restrooms in the valley, with complementary sea salt scrub and high end paper napkins. They also have a couple luxurious event spaces, one of which was hosting an engagement party. My mom tried a non alcoholic drink special with decaffeinated tea and fresh juices, with a little flower on top. She also tried the avocado toast. She enjoyed both but she said the avocado toast was a little spicy, albeit she has an extremely low tolerance for spice. I opted for the breakfast sandwich and black coffee. The coffee came in a neat mug with an oversized handle that was very ergonomic. It was good, but slightly watery. Was at least comforting to know it wasn't laced with tons of pesticides like most restaurants' coffee. The egg, bacon and avocado sandwich was delicious. The egg and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the bread was nice and soft but not too dry. The greens on the side were fresh with a nice vinaigrette. The service was excellent, all of the staff were friendly and seemed to be happy to be there. All in all I was impressed with this place. The only thing I wish they had on their brunch menu was an omelette, because this is first place I have been in a very long time that isn't a fine dining establishment, where they actually know how to cook eggs properly. They were fluffy, moist, and light. I don't bring this up as a brag, but I attended culinary school and learned proper scrambled egg (French style) technique years ago. This is the first place I've been in a long time that gives my eggs a run for their money.

The location has a quaint, house-style feel with beautifully manicured grounds. The large doors were open, allowing a lovely breeze to flow through, a welcomed touch. There's also a convenient parking lot right next door, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.

To accommodate for the warmer months, they have lots of shade over the outdoor seating and some fans to help try to keep it as cool as possible. I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Ended up parking in a free parking garage, but it was a little bit of a walk to the coffee shop from the parking garage.
