I bought crazy big progressive ..lenses and frames Gucci ... super cute and a fantastic deal! Staff was absolutely helpful and food and snacks was delish... First time i attend one of these. So glad i came in today to pick up contacts. Loving my eye care specialist more and more every year. Have been a patient for over 6 years! Dr Bun (pronounced Boon) isalways so helpful and takes the time to answer all your questions who handles the pre-screening and also coordinate my contact lens it always makes me aware of any offers.

My mother, brother, daughters, and I have all received care here over the years, and I had always associated Dr. Morris's practice with trust and patient care. Unfortunately, my most recent experience has completely changed that. My last two visits were with Dr. Bun. At my most recent exam, I explained that I am an elementary school teacher and that my vision needs have changed. I now need help with distance, reading, and especially seeing my computer screen. I specifically explained that I was constantly taking off my distance glasses to use my computer and switching to readers for close-up work. Dr. Bun recommended progressive lenses. I was hesitant about the additional expense, but I was told by both the doctor and staff that I could try them and that if they did not work for me, they could be changed under the warranty. When I picked up my new glasses on August 11, I could see at a distance and through the reading portion, but I could not see my laptop screen clearly at ANY angle. Thankfully, I had brought my laptop with me specifically to test this before leaving. Michelle told me they could remake the lenses as distance-only with Transitions. I agreed and then asked how the refund for the progressive portion would be handled, since I would no longer be receiving progressive lenses. I was told there would be no refund. That means I paid an additional $193 for progressive lenses, they did not meet the need I specifically discussed before purchasing them, they are now being replaced with distance-only lenses, and Eye Care Associates is keeping the additional $193. What makes this especially upsetting is that I had already made it very clear that finances were a concern. I even declined a $25 retinal image. Spending the additional money on progressive lenses was not a casual decision. I agreed because they were recommended for my needs and because I was reassured that I had options if they did not work. I understand businesses have policies. However, I do not believe it is reasonable to charge a patient for a more expensive product, replace it with a less expensive product when it does not work for the stated need, and then refuse to refund the difference. After more than 25 years of loyalty, I am incredibly disheartened that this is how my relationship with Eye Care Associates is ending. A practice that I once trusted enough to recommend to my own family has lost both my trust and my business over the way this situation was handled.

After observing it, he suggested I get a biopsy of it. To make a long story short, it was malignant. Dr. Kurwa went out of his way to personally call my primary doctor to get an authorization to see an oncologist to whom he discussed my medical case. I don't think a lot of doctors would do that. Dr. Kurwa is a very kind, compassionate and brilliant doctor. He also has a great sense of humor and is very quick witted with his jokes which I love. So if you are looking for a good eye doctor, go to Dr. Bud Kurwa.

Meagan helped me fall in love with what I see--because for the first time, I could actually see! I'm serious. I saw Dr. Ishi, who I seriously cannot recommend enough -- she's truly amazing. She helped me figure out that my previous experience at Costco Optical has, in fact, been totally useless and wholly inaccurate--my prescription has been off for like...10 years??? No wonder I can't see at night! Ha ha! Turns out, my bizarre and highly astigmatismed eyeballs happen to be both nearsighted and farsighted on each respective side..and thus require a certain amount of due diligence and attention--all of which I have never experienced at any other optometrist prior to coming to this place. Literally, one side of my contact prescription was off by 1.5 points or whatever they use to measure it--i mean, what?? Should I contact my car insurance to dispute any claim against any minor car accidents that I may or may not have been involved in over the past DECADE since I LITERALLY COULDN'T SEE!!!?? Dr. Ishi is incredible. Megan is a sweetheart who helped me pick glasses that not only fit, but ~*flattered*~ my large and in charge face. Because of this wonderful team, I can FINALLY see for the first time in my life. Can't recommend this place enough! 10/10. Ps; and not to be super creepy or anything...as I still don't know that deep and mysterious voice I heard but I think I'm low key in love. I seriously can't wait to go back!! But next time, I think I'll wear makeup! Although idk maybe i won't bc what if they put drops in my eye and my mascara runs??? Only time will tell...stand by for updates ).
