My wife and I swung by this local Filipino joint. It was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint!! We opted for takeout and were greeted by the friendliest staff. The food? Oh man, it was something else--absolutely loved it. Their whole fried fish was a hit. Can't wait to go back and explore more of what's on the menu.

We took a sample of most entrees. It comes with white rice.

My fiance and I finally had the chance to go since it closes at 7 pm most evenings. We loved the food especially the curry bases. It's great to support many different kinds of Asian cuisine. Filipino is a new atmosphere I encourage you all to try. The husband and wife duo are very friendly too.

Wife and I have had the pleasure of visiting Kusinera a couple of times now and have sampled the majority of the entrees they offer. With the exception of the spicy pork that was too much for the wife, we both love everything we've had! The focus of the menu is on foods that cook up in a stew pot and so most things are ready to serve up right away when you order. The meat in all the dishes is very tender as a result of the slow cooking method. Appetizer options of crab rangoon and lumpias are both great! These are 100% the best crab rangoons I have ever eaten! They offer several different items for dessert but we haven't tried those yet. As for the ambiance of the place, it's very simple and low key. The staff are very friendly, it appears to be a real "Mom and Pop" operation. The restaurant is neat and clean but not at all fancy. Food is served with disposable dinnerware, the tables and chairs are very basic. The walls are covered with inspirational sayings written on chalkboard. The focus here is all on the food and it is fantastic!

The broth that comes with it was great. The bok choy was cooked perfectly, and the noodles are soft as well. The beef was very tender and complements the contents of the dish. The BBQ chicken skewers were not that great. But still, the texture and char on the chicken was pretty good. I would recommend stopping here if you're in the area and want to try Filipino food.

I have yet to visit the restaurant, so this review is for the food truck. I first discovered the food truck at the Beachwood Truck Park (now closed). I then rediscovered the food truck during the World on Stage Concert at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens this weekend. Both memorable food experiences! Food: My order during the latest visit included Chicken Tocino ($17) and Ube Cheesecake Cookie ($5). I felt like the food was much tastier the second time around. Chicken Tocino included generous serving of meat and was perfectly marinated. The dish was so plentiful with egg, meat, rice, and marinated veggies. I ate with my eyes closed! Ube Cookie always satisfies my soul. It had a good amount of Ube, was sweet, and delicious. If I wasn't already very full, I'd go for seconds. Almost forgot, you get a buzzer/pager that rings when your food is ready. It's a great idea for large scale events and venues where the truck might be. Service: Everyone working the food truck was nice. Asked me about my meal, wished me a pleasant meal, and provided me with to go bag for my leftovers. Interactions were very warm and friendly. Find the food truck: Street Food Finder site will allow you to find their food truck locations. You can mostly find them at Lakewood Truck Park. By the way, cash is the preferred payment method. Credit cards are accepted. I look forward to visiting the restaurant and further exploring all the menu. I also want to see if the brick and mortar location also has cute palm vibes like the food truck. I'll certainly catch Parilya food truck around the town too!

The hostesses were baseline friendly/welcoming; it was not dry, but not enthusiastic either. My food was ready so I didn't have to wait, that was a plus. They have a bar and patio, garage doors in front. Lots of seating. It's got a nice modern motif. Lots of wood. Menu is not too big. I decided to go simple for my first time. I got the chicken sandwich. It comes with fries, kewpie mayo, cucumber salad, choice of sauce. I got the Korean bbq. Bun comes branded. Decent amount of fries but as usual I got lots of little stubby fries. End of bag fries. They were just OK. Not any extra flavor just deep fried. Sandwich was good. Very sloppy. Korean bbq was good! Didn't taste the cucumber salad. Too bad I was looking forward to it. Cucumber salad comes on the sandwich. Needs more of that. My partner got the wings. 10 of the crispy. These were good. Crunchy and a bit salty. So if you have a salt thing you might not want those. The cole slaw was good. Prices are around $15 range. Some things more some a bit less but mostly in the $15 range. They have a full bar. We didn't drink. Have about 6 beers on tap. Looks like a full bar. TV's for entertainment. Steady biz. People eating in and taking out. Cute place. Warning water in the bathroom is hot and comes out full force. Be careful it could be messy. Next time trying something else. Lots of Korean options that sound good!
