Great experience from start to finish!!! About a month ago we were running errands and came out to my wife's new car and noticed that some jack$&@ had slammed their door into her car and failed to leave a note. Needless to say she was disappointed in the person and not happy her new car had a ding. She visited a few shops to gather quotes and felt the best about Kustom Kreations. She made arrangements to bring the car in when it was convenient for us and they told her it would be 3-4 days. On the second day she received a call letting her know the progress and anticipated timeline and on the third day she was told the car was ready to be picked up. The car looks brand new again and she is pleased (happy wife, happy life, empty wallet) . We just had our Forester back in Kustom Kreations for a bit of rear end damage. As before a couple years ago, Kustom Kreations did a fantastic job in a timely manner when our Forester suffered some front end damage. Dropped it off on Monday morning and received it back on Thursday morning. And as before it still looked like we drove it off the showroom after the repair job and amazing detailing inside and out. And we had no issues with communication from the staff as other reviews have mentioned. As far as we are concerned Kustom Kreations is Krazy Kool and they will be our go to place for auto body work in the future and we highly recommend them. read more

Do yourself a favor and find a shop that has better standards than this. Far the worst experience I've ever had. Poor customer service from a gentleman that calls himself a manager. He doesn't inspect the quality of their work or doesn't have higher standards. Have gone back and fourth for 4 months trying to address the lack of quality that they did on my Mercedes. Supposedly - their repairs are warrantied and will fix it if something is wrong but I took it back today since the trimming they installed was originally popping out and still popped out and they refused. If you have a vehicle with a front camera.. don't take it there. They never got the camera aligned after fixing the bumper damage. I guess they can't handle constructive criticism too when you point out the lack of quality from their repairs. read more

Make sure when they inspect your car they know what they need to order THEN. Update: upon receiving this review the owner worked with me to correct the issues. He worked with my insurance company and myself to finally get a solution after 8 weeks of this madness. His help was greatly appreciated. This shop has sure gone down hill since Farcello owned it. My car was towed here October 2nd as AAA's "recommended shop" and the fact that they have a frame machine. Well that car sat until October 12th without a word from them after being promised an estimate by the 6th. The "estimate" was a visual inspection of the cosmetic damage. Couldn't get a return phone call after two voice mails so I had to physically go in and the estimator Cole told me that he would for sure have it put on the frame machine to check for frame damage that they would look into why it was leaking so much fluids and the check engine light is now on which is why I had to have it towed in, but argued with me stating all fluids were just "a smidge low and needed to be topped off" not that they were completely empty after the accident. Well magically on October 23rd his story changed to that it's "unrelated damage" to the engine because the fluids are completely empty after sitting for nearly a month in their yard, yet the car will need to be towed and cannot be driven to a mechanic to further determine the engine damage. I asked that he not do any of the body repairs until the engine damage was addressed, but he replied they already started it and the car cannot be released to be towed until it's finished. He then said he would see what mechanic could have it towed in a timely manor, no reply call so then October 30th I get a call asking what I want to do with the car when the work is done, it's still not done and he didn't have an estimate of when it would be. November 2nd I get multiple phone calls insisting that it's done and needs to be towed. He then claimed I need to sign some paper stating that if the mechanic I had to arrange, due to no follow up on his part, decides it's unrelated to the accident that I'm responsible for the costs, which makes zero sense as the mechanic is completely independent from their shop as they don't have any mechanics on staff. I'm just mind boggled how I was clearly driving the vehicle at least 50 miles per day with zero issue and rear ended while stopped at a cross walk, pushed a few feet into another vehicle by a suv estimated to be going at least 40 mph that never braked, but this engine damage is "not related to the accident" according to him. Costing me $500 a week in a rental car now, cost of a tow to another shop, and cost of a damage causation diagnosis that now AAA may or may not cover. Also, causing me to have to file a lawsuit with my attorney against AAA due all this. Not to mention I'm 8 months pregnant, and really don't need to added stress while preparing to bring home a newborn!!! I highly recommend you go anywhere but here unless you want to deal with a complete and utter run around and nightmare. read more

I got hit in my driver side door, and insurance referred me to Kustom Kreations. When it was time for my appointment, They said it would take a week, and finished it in four days. I was very happy with the work they did. They had to fix the outer shell of the front door, and when I got the car back I was shocked at how perfectly they matched the paint color with the rest of the car. I had them repair my fender that was damaged by a shopping cart at home depot, they did a great job. This was last year and recently I had a problem with on another car with my front door not closing properly due to a high wind while I had the door open. I took it to Kustom Kreations and Tiffany looked at it and told me to let her take the car in back. In less than 10 minutes she returned my car with door problem repaired and did not charge me anything. This is great customer service as most places would of charged me. My 2008 SMS Beta Numbered Dodge Challenger SRT-8 was damaged at Surf-Thru Car Wash in Carson City. After they review the video they offered to repair the damage that they did to my Challenger. When the estimate came in, the area Manager at first denied the claim and said that their high Definition video could not show damage and in a later letter, said that I came in to Surf-Thru Car Wash with the damage already there. It comes down to this, this so called car wash tried to intimidate me with telling me that the owner was an attorney. Did not work, but the BBB could do nothing. So I used my personal insurance. Kustom Kreations repaired the car and even tried to remove the water spots that were created while Surf-Thru Car wash wrote up the incident report. I give very few 5 stars, and this shop is one of them. Donny is the man that treats your car as his own and will not stop until you are happy. I will not go to Surf-Thru Car Wash ever again, but if I ever get into a fender bender and with the way No. Nevada drivers after a snow, if I need anymore work, Kustom Kreations is by far the best. Staff was extremely frIendly and helpful. My front end was pretty messed up after my accident but they fixed my car up nicely and within a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint with Kustom Kreations is that I had to bring my car back in because the day I received the car back, I noticed my washer fluid stick (I don't know the proper name lol) wasn't working. This was working both before and after my accident, so I knew it was something they had done. No big deal though, brought the car back and they had it fixed within minutes. I just wanted to say how great there customer service is!!! I've taken a few of my cars to them for body work and my cars have always looked brand new! They do excellent work. This last time I had work done, the inside interior had some dirty hand smudges in various places left from the replacement of my roof. I called to ask Donnie what I could use to clean it and he insisted I bring it back for them to take care of it. I did and they cleaned it up plus a nice car wash! Got rear ended in Carson City. They replaced & painted a new bumper on Jeep GC. Went to hook my boat to the trailer hitch & I could shake it with my hand. Got under the car & noticed the 3 bolts that attached the hitch to the car were not even finger tight. Tighten those & decided to check the bolts that hold the bumper on. You guessed it...all 6 bolts were loose as well. Certainly glad I checked before hooking the boat up. Went in calmly & explained & they didn't seem alarmed & said they would note it. WTH??? Someone could have been seriously hurt had the bumper come off. read more

I had front and rear body work done on my car. I was rear ended pushing my car into vehicle in front of me. At first I was pleased with the work but after a year it was discovered my front bumper wasn't installed correctly. A gap between the bumper and side panel. Since it's been longer than a year I would imagine they would not think it was their error. Never will I go to this shop again read more

Last winter my truck was damaged by a 1000 hp snowblower, owned by Incline Village General Improvement District. It was actually quite horrific because the operator was destroying the asphalt of the road going up to the Crystal Bay, fire "look out". The truck was blasted for several seconds with ice, snow, asphalt, road base and the native soil... Decomposed Granite, (sand) My AAA claims adjuster advised going with Kustom Kreastions. Really long and painful story, but in short; the work was really, really bad. The headlights were replaced for some reason. The Right fender replaced and headlight do not line up, the fender is supposed to be tucked behind the light and not forced on the outside. The hood support structure was separated from the shell at most bonds when the dents were popped out of the hood. The windshield leaked and it was clearly installed before the paint was done. There are big dust nubs under the paint and the clear coat. The clear ding strips on the edge of one door and under one handle were not replaced. There is a chip in the paint under that handle with clear coat over it. Welding slag on the inside of one of the side windows tint...? The aftermarket bumper that was previously powder coated got chipped up, never re-painted. AAA has not helped me but actually insulted me by saying thats just how it is with winters living in Nevada. And that my truck is a rusty piece of junk.(field appraisal manager) It's a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Regular Cab that was actually quite nice before this incident. The appraiser and shop appeared to have a weird relationship that seemed shady. It was $5000 dollars that AAA paid and I don't see it worth more that a couple hundred bucks worth of hasty work. I dropped AAA. Them nor Kustom Kreations were really willing to do much. They didn't want to fix all of it and I am not willing to let Kustom Kreations touch my truck again. Next step I guess... Be careful with this place. read more

I was recently in my first car accident and was referred here through my AAA insurrance. I originally worked with Bee in the front office, who was so sweet. It being my first accident, I really didn't know what to do so I was kind of in this panicky state. I had a million things to do and no car. She guided me along and told me what to do and how to get the car to her, she was so wonderful and patient. Donny did the estimate, he was nice, professional and thorough. The boys in the auto body shop did an amazing job on my car; Mary (my Subaru) actually looks better then when she went in. They went ahead and buffed out an unrelated blemish on my car to be sure that the whole car looked amazing. It was a wonderful surprise. They cleaned the interior and exterior super nice and I couldn't be more pleased. Its been about two weeks since I picked her up and she's better than ever.
