So so happy to see that the owners got a physical store! And I met the infamous Jay- he is awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable, with great recommendations for things to try off the menu. I loved the decor of this place too- ube-themed with aspects of Filipino culture all around. Our drinks were delicious; not too sweet and strong, authentic ube flavor. Definitely come by to support a local business!

Got the ube latte - TASTE: 5/5 - visited their temporary spot at The Foundry in Cambridge many times because, as a Filipino and ube lover, their ube items are truly legit! So satisfyingly ube PRICE: 4/5 - only paid $6 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - perfect size for a sweet treat SERVICE: 5/5 - Jay and Sarai are super welcoming and friendly in every encounter I've had w them! ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - glad to visit their location in Somerville now. As expected, lots of purple decor and Filipino pride PARKING: 4/5 - got a street spot around the cornrow Sycamore St

I got the ube latte with the non-dairy alternative which was made with a coconut base. They didn't have any oat/almond/soy options, and it made the latte taste pretty acidic/sour. The drinks themselves look pretty, but definitely have a lot of caffeine in it. The baked goods are all packaged to go, and there is nice seating areas in the foundry. Good service, but weird hours that they switched from being open in the morning to only the afternoon.

Grand opening!

I've been searching for a Filipino cafe that genuinely showcases what ube should taste like -- and this place nails it down!

If you are a cat lover (or just have a soul), Kitty Cat Cafe in Peabody is a total must-visit. It's…read morea registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that shelters about 10 cats at a time, and you can instantly feel the passion Cora, Uri, and the volunteers have for rescue work. They've created a space that is the true definition of "mi casa es tu casa"--the cats basically own the place, roaming around freely while they rehabilitate and wait for their forever homes. It's so heartwarming to see them in such a chill, loving environment. What I appreciated most, though, was the educational side of the experience. They really take the time to highlight FIV kittens--which is basically the cat equivalent to HIV--and explain how they can live totally normal, happy lives with just a few standard precautions. Cora even touched on the biases that exist, even among vets, so I loved that I left not only feeling fuzzy from cat cuddles but also a lot more informed. Whether you're looking to adopt a new best friend or just want to spend some quality time with some kitties, I highly, highly recommend checking this place out and supporting their mission! As for food, you can bring in anything you'd like and if you're there for their tail thumping thursdays, you can also order delivery to it. They cannot serve food due to local laws and guidelines. They do have packaged snacks and drinks you can purchase to enjoy. In addition, they have merch you can also purchase. All purchases, including tickets, help fund the nonprofit.

The cats were adorable. The room is much smaller than it seems in pictures. 10 people max are allowed in the room which I personally thought was too much. I think something more like 5 or 6 is more reasonable, but even then with a new group coming in every hour this may be a lot for the animals. I like this model for cats to live in temporarily and then get adopted into a regular home. I honestly feel bad for the resident cats and wonder if all these new people all the time overwhelms them. I wish there was another room only they could go to when they want to. I wouldn't mind this type of set up at all. Overall, I still enjoyed the experience I just hope the set up is in the best interest of the animals especially the residents that live there. Honestly, if I were to find another similar cafe with a lot more room for the cats (and people) and a setup where they could leave the room to relax I'd probably go there instead. I just wish the best for all the adorable cats here!

They have the nostalgic 90s music theme of records we all love and you are immediately greeted by friendly staff. I also loved the familiar favorites on their menus with a unique twist. Not to mention at great prices! I stopped for a hot chocolate at first because it was pretty chilly in the morning. It was absolutely incredible. On the way back from errands I tried the Woo-Rito which I heard is a crowd favorite. It did not disappoint. I made a few exceptions..I did order it without the hot sauce but I added the spicy mayo and it gave it the perfect zing it needed. Absolutely love this place & love the staff. I'm a student from out of state attending a university & they make Woo feel just like home. Wish I would have come to this cafe sooner because it's absolutely incredible. 10/10 recommend.
