I thought that was incredibly generous, and I truly appreciated how seriously he took my feedback. Today, I had a busy meeting at work, so I sent my coworker to this location to pick up some muffins for us. He was warmly welcomed and helped by two wonderful female employees. He brought back a dozen muffins, and I finally got to try one myself--the chocolate chip muffin was absolutely delicious! And when I say these muffins are HUGE, I mean HUGE! This location is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the establishment is clean and well-kept, and the muffins are delicious. I definitely recommend giving Muffin House a try!

The menu is focused on quality rather than overwhelming you with choices, and each beverage is unique in its own right. I really appreciate the dairy alternatives, caffeine options and overall outstanding service at Loose Leaf. I love this boba shop in particular because it's conveniently located on my way home, inside Pokemoto, a Hawaiian spot that serves raw fish (think deconstructed sushi in a bowl). If you're looking to grab lunch and a tasty drink, this setup is perfect for hitting two birds with one stone. The drink selection is well-rounded, ranging from fruity to milky and healthy to indulgent. The Matchacado uses real avocado and high-quality matcha, blended together to create a drink I could honestly have for the rest of my life. There's something about the sweetness of the condensed milk, the creaminess of the avocado and the chewiness of the tapioca pearls that makes each sip taste SO (underline, bold and italicize "so" for me please, Yelp) good. Better yet, it's consistently well-made and the young team members behind the counter clearly know what they're doing when it comes to this drink. My last visit to Loose Leaf was heartbreaking: they were out of avocados, but the young man behind the counter recommended the Purple Roots instead, which had a pleasantly earthy taro flavor. It reminded me of a classic taro milk tea, but blended and elevated the Loose Leaf way. Their Vietnamese drip coffee is also solid for anyone who wants a strong caffeine kick to the face. If I haven't spotlighted them enough already, shoutout to the young man and woman who handle both the boba and poke stations - you two absolutely rock and are always so friendly! My only wish (as I mentioned in my last review for Pokemoto) is for steady Wi-Fi. This would be a fantastic spot not only for lunch, but also to settle in and get some work done for an hour or two. I ordered the brown sugar bourbon coffee and it was surprisingly delicious. The guy that made my drink seemed like this was his first time making a cocktail so I was a bit skeptical, but he pulled out a recipe sheet and followed it exactly. He produced a good coffee with a nice bourbon flavor, a light sweetness and luscious sweet cream. Such a fun way to kick off a movie. After lunch, we went apple picking which was I think $34 for a peck which is pretty standard nowadays. They had macoun, macintosh, cortland, and some other varieties, but I prefer my macs. The apple orchard is very small compared to other places I've been, but served its purpose. Would have been nice to have a couple ladders in the orchard for easier access to apples on top. Would have also been nice if the bathrooms were not portapotties--my friend and I chose to hold it lol. They also have a pen with chickens, ducks, and goats that look fairly happy and well cared for. We came on a weekday so it was not crowded at all, but I would imagine it gets packed on weekends.
