I am not from India, so cannot comment how the Indian-specific flavors match up with similar offerings in stores or other places. What I will say that my daughter, son-in-law and I stumbled into this place after an excellent sushi dinner. There's a lot of big boxes and stinky refrigerators around making it unhygienic to sit down at this place. So glad I decided to try and stopped by this place on a Friday night! I was pleasantly surprised to find so many available flavors; some of them, I've never even heard of or knew existed. One particular flavor that stood out to me the most was the Ferraro rocher. I'm sure everyone has tried this chocolate at least once, so I was curious how they would match this chocolate flavor. The Ferraro rocher ice cream was very smooth and had bits of chocolate and nuts, which I'm assuming might be the actual Ferraro rocher chocolate. The lychee ice cream flavor and creaminess were amazeballs. I would return just for that! The place looked clean but it didn't leave much to be desired in the atmosphere department. So if you're on a date and want to go to a cute ice cream shop, you're probably better off going somewhere else. It seemed bare and sterile inside. FYI because of Covid, they do allow you to have a taste of the flavors, but ask you to take it outside to eat it. I didn't mind that at all because many ice cream places don't do tastings anymore but I just didn't understand the reason for it if we had to also open our mouths to talk when ordering, so isn't that the same thing? We would walk outside, taste it, and walk back inside to throw away the spoon. I did appreciate their desire to have safety protocols though, so we had one or two tastings and then chose our flavors. This place has a lot of unique favors such as Indian favors, exotic fruit favors such as guava, blue mango(blueberry and mango) and favors based on nuts and spices. The staff was very accommodating, patiently explaining the favors and giving samples. We ordered two cones with ferrero rocher and guava and mango and rum and raisin. I felt that the ferrero rocher favor was subtle and didn't really feel like the chocolate itself. It was more on the creamy and milky side. For the fruit favors, they were a bit artificial tasting and not real fruit favors. The rum and raisin had very strong rum favor. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. The place was clean and the service was prompt and courteous. Decent amount of options. Price is right for quantity. Follows COVID best practices. Associates in store wore mask and gloves all the time. No exposure to food. So why 3 stars over 5. The main reason is flavor, got a wide variety yesterday, butter scotch, lychee, pistachio, mango, vanilla, chocolate for a bunch of kids. It is out of the world. They have traditional indian flavors like 2 or 3 different types of malai kulfi, 2 or 3 different malai ice cream, custard apple, sapota etc etc. One of the best things is that they gave ice cream for sampling and you get to try before buying. They have traditional Falooda which resembles to what we get in India. They use fresh malai kulfi, choice of ice cream, chia seeds, semia. The taste is fantastic. Hot days demands some Ice cream! We were looking for ice cream in the area and this place popped up. I was interested in the flavors they offered and it isn't your typical ice cream shop. They sell other desserts that I never heard of since I haven't really ventured out to try Indian ice cream. I highly recommend this place. The flavors we got were Mango, black currant, and blueberry cheese cake ice cream. If you like Mango Lassi, you definitely would love the mango ice cream. The cheese cake in the ice cream was legit. So glad that we now have a Kwality Ice Cream in the Trivalley and this one is better too! They have so many ice cream flavors as well as falooda which is hard to find around here. During this quarantine time, they are open from 6pm-9pm. The owner was really nice and offered us many samples. We got a falooda and a small cup with 2 big scoops of cookies and cream and chocolate. Some flavors are actually very weak ... of you prefer a bit more intensity then you would be disappointed. You can get some of the same flavors in the Indian grocery stores for way less. A quart is around $15 ... Place is clean; service is decent ... BUT ... it feels like the employees DEMAND tips. Tip for scooping ice-cream and that too when the price is bit on the steeper side? Recently visited this place looking at the high ratings but was thoroughly disappointed. We ordered Falooda and it was extremely overpriced($9.25!!). By far the highest I have paid for this. The taste was average at best and the quantity was low; it was served in a low quality plastic cup. Added to that, the service was horrible; especially there was lady who was came across as arrogant and rude. She barely answered anything we ask.
