I haven't been to Stoneridge in forever so was excited to try this new shop. The strawberry Matcha drink was really good. I got 50% sweet, with oat milk and less ice. You can really taste the matcha and it's not overly sugary like 100% sweet. They seem to more well known for their soft serve and Taiyaki. They have the Hokkaido milk which you don't see often. Service was very polite and efficient.
iSee Cream is a hidden gem inside Stoneridge Mall for matcha drinks, ice creams, and more. I got the Banana Cream Matcha and I was surprised how fresh and natural the banana cream tasted. It definitely didn't taste artificial and the matcha is strong to my liking. My friend got the Strawberry Cream Matcha and it was good too. It's small inside for grab-and-go and service was efficient
Really good ice cream and taiyaki. I actually came here during an East Bay Yelp Elite experience, so I'm curious what my fellow East Bay elites got. For me, I ordered an ube soft serve taiyaki with fruity pebbles. It was really good and not too sweet. The taiyaki had all the wonderful textures of a waffle, crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The fruity pebbles also added a nice textural contrast to the soft serve. I've also tried the sweet corn taiyaki and that was good too. It's savory and sweet, so something worth trying if you're not feeling ice cream that day. There's a place to make your experience Insta worthy, and a few tables to eat. And it was pretty clean when I was there. I used a kiosk to order, but otherwise service was pretty quick.
Freshly made taiyaki, got the box of 5 and were able to pick my own flavors. Loved the savory ones over the sweet ones. I like the corn cheese fillings but not crazy about the mayo. The shredded pork floss not my favorite but my daughter likes it as I'm not a huge fan of shredded pork. I like the cheddar cheese but I think it would taste better if a jalapeño cheese were used. The brown sugar boba filling wasn't too bad. It was filled with a lot of boba and super chewy. Nutella is Nutella, I don't have anything to say about that. Will need to come back and try the ice cream.
needed some ice cream to help cool down during the summer and stopped by my favorite sweet treat spot in stoneridge mall! ordered a soft serve cup with ube and strawberry swirled soft served topped with fruity pebbles and a fresh nutella-filled taiyaki on top! service was fast as always and i was able to to get my soft serve cup in a timely manner. i will say it can get a little hot inside the storefront since the taiyaki are made to order but i don't mind it since i know the taiyaki are going to be cooked perfectly
Tried another item on the list! Iced strawberry matcha latte 50% sugar With Matcha foam It was almost perfect. I would say it's a solid 4.5*. The sweetness level at 50% was perfect. There is an option to swap the matcha portion from foam to a non foam version. I chose the foam version because it's the original. I would try to other version next time. Also had the vanilla ice cream with lychee jelly and extra mochi pieces. The ice cream and jelly are great. The mochi pieces were not as soft as I expected. So I would give it a 4* for the ice cream lychee jelly combo. The strawberry fruit tea with strawberry popping boba and 50% sweetness were also good. Everything here is pretty much amazing.
Strawberry matcha with oat milk! Wish they had boba and wish they weren't inside the mall! Self service kiosk. Love the options! It's one of the best matcha drinks I've had! Reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back and try other items. You don't interact with anyone. Someone just puts your order at the table when it's ready.
*2.5 stars if I could. Went with a couple of friends while visiting Stoneridge and wanted to get some matcha. The shop is small as any mall store is but it's cutely decorated! Veryyy limited seating since it is small. They use self-service ordering kiosks, so you don't really see the workers in the front unless they're dropping off drinks at the counter from the back. Service could have been better as they weren't really calling out the names loudly even though we were in a mall. My friends' drinks were sitting on the counter for quite a while and we were sitting right next to the pick-up counter. *Original Matcha Latte w/ Extra shot of matcha and matcha foam (2/5): I'm assuming they use pre-sweetened matcha powder because it was sooooo sweet even at 25%. My friends ordered the mango matcha latte and the brown sugar latte and they were both incredibly sweet. You can still taste the matcha since thankfully it doesn't taste watered down or too much milk, but I'm worried it was only that way because of the extra matcha shot. There are so many better matcha stores to go to but if you have no other choice, try to get 0% sugar if you can.
This shop is located in the stoneridge mall. We tried their Dubai chocolate strawberry $18. This is seasonal item so only available during strawberry season. The cup comes with many strawberries and soft serve ice cream. It's very good. However, I think the chocolate sauce is a bit over. So it's ever sweet towards the end. I also think this cup can fill up your stomach. It can definitely share with 2 people. Also tried the matcha drink, the matcha amount is perfect! Love it! In case you are looking for place to hangout, there are only a few seatings with no table. They have great items on their menu including macarons!
Cute dessert spot in Stoneridge mall near JCPenney! My sister and I have been wanting to try this place ever since we did a sweet treat dessert hunt in the Dublin / Pleasanton area. We were pleasantly surprised with their prices, aesthetic interior, and menu options! Very clean and open. All of their swirl options that come with premade toppings (that you can adjust) were only $8.50, which is almost the amount of most boba drinks nowadays so I'd opt for their desserts rather than their drinks at this price point...Although there wasn't really any seating inside, there were several tiny chairs for photos or to wait for your order. You can order via kiosk or cashier. We got the Sakura Matcha Swirl that came with agar boba, cornmeal flakes, and matcha pudding. There was also a strawberry pocky and Sakura flavored flowers. The amount of toppings and soft serve ratio was perfect. Flavor of the matcha was strong, yet creamy. Wasn't too overwhelming and the consistency was just right (a bit thick and soft). We do wish they had fresh strawberries or more strawberry flavored items because the pocky combined with the swirl was yummy! They do put all their toppings on the bottom though, but we love to dig here. Would love to come here again and try more of their other swirls and give their drinks a shot!
First time here! I got the crème brûlée matcha latte with 100% sweetness, oat milk, and regular ice. I read some other yelp reviews that said their drinks run sweet but I have a big sweet tooth so I didn't think it would be a problem, but they were right, these drinks really are sweet lol. I would get 75% sweetness if I come again. I didn't really taste crème brûlée flavor from the cold foam; it just has a subtle sweetness to it but no specific flavor. This drink actually tasted like a pistachio matcha latte but maybe that's due to the earthiness of the oat milk. I like how you can add extra matcha powder yourself... I definitely felt the caffeine while drinking it haha. Overall, the drink didn't really taste as advertised, but it was still pretty good!

You know it's good when there's a line out the door! After being in a meeting and hearing my stomach growling, I needed a matcha and some snacks. Ordered my crème brûlée Matcha drink, a Blackpink drink(strawberry w/Oreo type cookies on the bottom), ham&cheese taiyaki and vanilla custard taiyaki. This place exceeded my expectation! My son loved his drink and he usually doesn't like anything because he's a teenager lol. My matcha was so good. The quality of matcha was much better than other bakeries I usually go to. They also caramelized the sugar on the crème brûlée. The taiyaki came in a cute box. My ham and cheese was scrumptious and savory. The store was small and cozy with a warm welcoming ambience. my usual go-to spot in the area for sweet matcha boba drinks! (specifically the matcha foam drinks, my favorites!) during this visit, we went on a monday afternoon. not busy and quick service. staff is always very friendly and sweet! convenient location since it's in the mall, so we enjoyed the drinks and macarons while roaming around stores. we also decided to try new menu items that are exclusive to the month. we got the biscoff matcha, biscoff latte, and a few macarons. Biscoff Matcha: 6.5/10 matcha w/ a cookie butter swirl, topped with/ vanilla cold foam, biscoff cookie and crumble on top. felt like a good amount of sweetness, got it at 50% for the sweet lvl. wished the matcha powder had a more earthy and strong flavor. cookie butter swirl was nice, would've been great w/ a concentrated syrup to enhance the flavor. Biscoff Latte: 7/10 similar to the matcha, latte has a rich coffee flavor. not so sweet, which i enjoyed. just the same w/ the cookie butter from the matcha. needs more of a strong flavor profile for the biscoff taste. Macarons: 8.5/10 love getting the macarons! we got the salted caramel, fruity pebble, and strawberry cheesecake. they were all great! however, i felt like the flavor didn't shine through for the strawberry cheesecake. highly recommend the salted caramel. read more

I have been SEARCHINGG for Hokkaido milk flavored soft serve since coming back from Asia. This place might be the closest I have had I saw on their IG that they had a new Hokkaido milk flavored soft serve and I knew I needed to try it. After trying so many different disappointing places, I wasn't expecting much, but iSee Cream has an extremely smooth and creamy soft serve. The soft serve was also super milky and similar to taste to Hokkaido milk, similar to cremia. I'm not sure if it was just because we caught them on a good day, but i definitely will be back!! My cravings are satisfied for sure!! The workers were also so super nice and let us try a sample before purchasing! There's limited seating, so we ate the the ice cream standing outside. read more

A winner in Stoneridge mall! I love ice cream and had to try this highly rated premium soft serve shop. I got the chocolate & milk tea swirl with taiyaki and cocoa pebbles for about $8. A good amount of smooth, creamy, flavorful ice cream with a freshly made warm crispy taiyaki fish cone was SO delicious! There are several flavors and I want to try ube strawberry and matcha salted caramel swirls in the future. It's a perfect spot to get your ice cream break while shopping and there's ample parking. This isn't a "matcha shop," but it has become my favorite place to get matcha ever. I stop by every time I'm at the mall -- it's basically part of my routine now. Their Strawberry Matcha with Matcha Cold Foam is chef's kiss, and the Supreme Fruit Tea is so refreshing and perfectly balanced. I've also tried their taiyaki, and I'm working my way through the menu -- not a single thing has disappointed me. Everything is consistently delicious, fresh, and made with care. Customer service is also 10/10. They're always friendly, patient, and get the orders right even when it's busy. I've brought multiple family members and friends here and now everyone is obsessed too. If you're a matcha lover -- or just want something better than the average mall drink -- this place is a MUST. read more

I felt like getting a dessert while visiting Stoneridge Mall, so I ordered matcha and strawberry swirl ice cream in a taiyaki from iSee Cream. I selected cocoa pebbles (no extra cost for the topping) and vanilla custard. The concept, flavors, and even the visual design of the menu reminds me a lot of SomiSomi. They also offer milk tea and ube flavor ice cream, which I might want to try in the future. The ice cream melted fast, probably because the taiyaki is freshly cooked and warm. They sell taiyaki by itself with various fillings too, though. I felt the matcha ice cream flavor was too weak and wish the matcha was stronger. read more

All the reviews said isee cream had some seriouly delicious ice cream desserts, needless to say we had to check it out! We got the Taiyaki on top with ube and green tea swirled ice cream and it was delicious! The taiyaki was freshly made so it was soft and crunchy, while the ice cream was creamy and favorful but yet not overly sweet. The shop was really cute as well. As it lacked a big seating area, it made up for it with a cute photo backdrop area. The staff was friendly and we got our order in no time. Overall we highly recommend I see Cream and will come back whenever we get a chance. read more

Very decent matcha for something that's at the mall. It's bitter and creamy, so make sure to mix it well! It's very easy to miss but if you're craving for a sweet treat, I highly recommend finding this place. You order through a kiosk, and service as quick. There's limited seating like two chairs, so this is more of a grab and go type of thing. read more

I was craving taiyaki so found this spot. They have a good number of filling options. Small shop, but reasonable speed. Touch screen or cashier ordering. I went with touch screen and it was quick/easy. Staff was polite handing out orders. The taiyaki itself was decent, but at $6 for two little fish I hoped for better.. custard cream was a bit of a let down. Boba filling was different and surprisingly better. I kinda wished I'd gotten ice cream, but I really came for the pancake fish. read more

I always wanted to try this place ever since it opened but never got a chance. It's inside the mall. And we got to finally tried it on Black Friday. It was not busy since it was in the evening. We got the Sakura bloom. They ran out of matcha pudding so we got chocolate pudding instead. The ice cream itself didn't have a strong matcha taste that you expect. We still thought it was a good deal until we saw a big hole in the middle of the ice cream. All in all , the ice cream looks pretty but it tastes meh. With the ice cream just on top with the "toppings" underneath, we ended up with lots of the toppings left with not much ice cream. The inside didn't have much room to sit and enjoy. Also the trash can was overflowing with trash on the floor! I really wanted to like this place but don't think I will be back. read more
Discovered this place nestled in the corner of Stoneridge mall right across from the quickly and tapas restaurant. It's a small store with beautiful interior decoration. There's a spot for photo ops and other themed decorations as well. When I went, the fall decorations were up. Me and my partner ordered the very berry latte, vanilla ice cream with taiyaki on top and two separate taiyakis. We tried the matcha and the corn cheese taiyaki. The service was a bit slow and the store was really stuffy so a lot of people were standing outside :/ The very berry latte was unexpectedly not as sweet. It did only taste like strawberry though. The taiyakis were made to order and piping hot when they came out. My favorite was the corn cheese! This place is in Stoneridge mall so it is a bit inconvenient to get to if you are on a hurry but I have called in my order and because they are so close to the Mall Entrance (next door to Men's Warehouse) I found it quite simple to grab n go! My daughter lives the strawberry matcha with cold foam, light ice and 50-75% sweetened. I really enjoy the matcha with brown sugar, light ice, 50% sweetened and I opt for the coconut milk. If you are a match fan you might find this spot to be a favorite! read more
We stopped by here today while at the mall. Pleasantly surprised. The kids like their drink, but the food was even better. Mine was the corn cheese and my other daughter got cheese and one got Nutella. All three tasted fantastic. My favorite was the corn cheese. Everything is fresh and they make them right in front of you, service was good and everybody was friendly. The ordering system on the kiosk is really easy and it didn't take to volunteer our food. Impressive soft serve (creamier than the others) and ice cream place has come to Pleasanton. Beautiful clean store, good decors the stars are the ice cream : milk tea base brown sugar topping wow it is so good. Served over corn flakes cereal. Delicious. Sakura bloom: Very smooth ice cream, the smoothness almost made the ice cream unrecognizable, flavor was a light matcha flavor, got better as it melted. pretzels didnt feel right in an ice cream but the pink crackers were pretty. Strawberry flavored pocky sticks. Corn flakes also felt weird in the ice cream, some still remained crispy while others became soggy, just depends how fast u eat em. Boba were a different kind of boba felt like gummies (they werent crystal, but not brown sugar either). Cute little dessert shop inside Stoneridge Mall that sells a lot of matcha desserts such as matcha soft serve and parfaits. The taiyaki is soft and delicious and you can add cream inside. You can customize your order as well. The soft serve was not too sweet (which is high Asian praise!) and the cereal you can add on top gives a nice crunch. Would go back! read more

One of the best ice cream shop experiences I've ever had. Service was great and our ice cream was ready in around 5 minutes. I also really love the interior of the shop, it feels super welcoming. The shop is located upstairs near a Quickly. Sakura Bloom (4/5): Solid matcha ice cream. The consistency of the ice cream was amazing. Thick and creamy. I would say I wished there was more matcha flavor to the ice cream, but everything else (cereal, agar pearls, matcha pudding) was delicious. Choco Love (5/5): One of the best chocolate ice creams I've ever had. Everything about this was great. All of these cups have the same toppings (cereal, agar pearls, and pudding of the flavor). We walked in for a quick drink, but all of a sudden, I was craving something savory. I noticed that you could order 5 different flavors of taiyaki waffles for $10.50 or 2 of the same flavor for $5.50. I just had to order 5 for little old me. I ordered the dried pork and seaweed, red bean, ube taro, smoked ham and cheese with a $0.50 up charge, and a vanilla custard. My daughter loved her strawberry tea with lychee popping boba. iSee Cream opened recently next to Go Fish Poke Bar. Service counter only. No seating. Minimal decor. Offerings: soft serve ice cream, ice cream cup, taiyaki waffle, drinks, mochidonut, macarons... Quick service. Only 1 person in line. Ordered at counter. Paid. Cone ready in 5ish minutes. Licks: Taiyaki cone (6.95) filling: nutella, red bean, ube taro, vanilla custard, no filling.. -ube matcha swirl soft serve ice cream didn't have much flava, very creamy. Fast meltiness soon caused collapse of taiyaki cone...didn't opt for filling. Otherwise the outcome would be very messy. 3.5 stars possible repeat for drinks or "ice cream cup".... !May is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. read more
