There's some unique and interesting flavors offered here. I wasn't too impressed by the texture of the ice cream, it kinda felt more like a frozen yogurt/smoothie kind of texture. Kind of oily as well? Hard to describe but the more we had, the more we weren't really digging it.

I was feeling like getting some ice cream while in the area, so I stopped by Kwality. Kudos to the worker who was friendly and allowed us to sample many different flavors without limit. I noted they have rose petal, guava, and numerous nut based flavors (pistachios, almonds etc.) and a lot of the flavors contain cardamom or saffron; I appreciate that the flavor labels included a little bit of info about the main ingredients. I ended up going for a kids scoop of mawa kulfi (they have a separate malai kulfi as well). It was super buttery and creamy, you would like it if you are a dairy lover. If you get the small size (the next largest after kids scoop), then you can pick 2 flavors. I thought it was a decent quantity for kids scoop.

Came here because of the high ratings but unfortunately it fell flat. The ambiance was severely lacking. With only 1 table and a whole bunch of dead space there wasn't anywhere to sit and enjoy the ice cream. The establishment needed a good power wash. The ground was sticky and the only table inside was also sticky and unclean. The ice cream was good but nothing extraordinary. They had exotic flavors plus a few standard ones like vanilla,chocolate, and cookies and cream. But if you're looking for exotic I suggest Salt and Straw. Service was standard. Nonetheless safe to say I won't be returning.

I went there to try Falooda, and they didn't disappoint. They have an mazing selection of the kulfis that you can try in your Falooda. I tried rose and malai. And it was delicious. Highly recommended place if you are craving some / want to try new Indian flavors. They also have paan flavor icecream for the pan lovers.

Kwality Ice Cream is unlike any other ice cream place in the area. They offer ice cream made without egg and unique Indian-inspired ice cream flavors. There were a lot of interesting flavors I had never tried before. I think it would be helpful to include English translations with the more unique flavors, but maybe that's like trying to translate a Chinese menu into English (lol). Thankfully, the staff were patient with me and happy to translate for me. I stopped myself at three since I didn't want to overindulge. Ended up going with the chikoo (sapote) and rose petal flavors. My boyfriend got the black currant and malai kulfi (milk and cardamom) flavors. Seating was sparse with one sole table inside (probably because they opened during COVID), so we opted to sit outside. It was a pretty warm day, so our ice cream started melting pretty fast the moment we stepped outside. The chikoo flavor was quite nice. The rose petal flavor ended up being too overpowering for me, but if you like rose flavor, I'd say go for it. The black currant tasted like a a blueberry yogurt, and I was definitely a fan of their malai kulfi (though my stomach wasn't). Wondering how much dairy and cream they put into their ice cream, but no regrets here. They also sell pints of their ice cream and when you order ice cream, they cover it up, which makes it easy to take home and enjoy! Honestly, I am curious to come back and try some of their other flavors, as I didn't get to try everything the first time. Guess we'll have to wait until then.

Tried this place on my trip to san ramon. The variety is wonderful. We had Vanilla cup with sprinkles and koolfi falooda. The ice creams were delicious. Service is pretty quick. The ambiance is ok. There are plenty of parking spots nearby. I would definitely recommend this place! MUST TRY!!

Nostalgia kicked in when I entered Kwality ice cream this week for the first time. All the flavors that I have missed after moving to the states, all my favorite flavors...all in one place!! My mood just brightened after seeing the options. Tried these scoops- Lychee, the best of all and my fav, Black currant my second favorite, Sitapal/custard apple, Mango pomegranate. The quality might be equivalent to the ice creams that you get in a supermarket, but these flavors are definitely not available easily. Boy I have missed and craved for them so much! Definitely a must try!! And next time I'm gonna buy 2-3 scoops of just Lychee and a combination cup of other. PS: I saw a coffee flavor for coffee lovers, unlike me. Prices seem reasonable.

My new favorite ice cream place! I had the pistachio with saffron and my friend had the pan masala. Both flavors were amazing! Texture and creaminess of the ice creams were perfect. Nothing I would change. Great service. Clean store. AC worked great! We came in on a hot day and it was so comfortable inside. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. They also have pre packed containers of ice cream and ice cream cakes. Highly recommend!

Natural flavored Indian icecream shop. They have a huge collection of icecream you can try and get in scoops in cup on cones. They serve togo in pint and quarter sizes. The specialty here is the falooda- which I recommend. read more

Stumbled upon this ice cream shop while I was picking up lunch next door. They serve plenty of flavors both Indian and American. The plethora of choices can be a dilemma but don't let that stop you! Next time I will definitely ask to try some samples. I bought a pint of pistachio, a quart of mango, cassata, and malai kulfi. The ice cream was very creamy, airy, and soft. Flavors were prominent and did not taste artificial at all which is hard to find especially for a flavor like pistachio. The prices are a bit high I feel, $9 for a pint and $13 for a quart. I will probably find my favorite flavor and only buy one to keep at home as a treat. read more

Let me first start with saying that the flavors are distinct and very unique and certainly takes us back to India. We tried the Pan, Rose petal, Ferroro Rocher, Butterscotch, Guava, Chickoo and Chocolate ice cream. Everything tasted delicious. We even went there multiple days during our short stay in Dublin. Definitely worth the try. Then wondering why a 3 star? See, I do see multiple people have written reviews here who have very clearly mentioned that the person in the counter is obligating you as if you HAVE to pay tips. When he has the payment monitor on his side behind the glass clover, once your bill is ready, he explicitly asks, "do you want to give any tips". See, tips is a very delicate topic, if we feel like giving, we will. But as plenty of others mentioned, why should we tip if all the person is doing 'scooping' the ice cream and putting it in a cup? I am wondering if the owner of the place is reading the reviews, or bothered about reviews on Yelp, if he/she is concerned, he would certainly read this comment from others and would have informed his/her employees to stop obligating the customers. Just because of this reason, I might hesitate going to this shop and is the owner ok with this when several people stop coming here? read more

ordered through doordash. I felt that the quantity was less for the money we pay and also the taste wasn't that good. I ordered Falooda Kulfi in a cup and Cassata. the Malai Kulfi, falooda (rice noodles), takmaria (basil) seeds were all frozen like a rock and there was no rabri & rose syrup. the cassata was so thin for 7$. I guess it's just one time try only, not worth the money. read more

Visited here on a friend's recommendation, and definitely was not disappointed. Was not surprised that the favorite flavor of butterscotch was sold out by the time I visited. However, they had lots of options for flavors, taking it back to my childhood. All the flavors I tasted and tried were flavorful. What was nice to see was that they also had eggless options for vegans. Would highly recommend. read more

I am loving the ice cream from Kwality!! My husband brought home sugar free pistachio for me and it was fabulous! The mango and paan flavored ice cream was also delicious too. Loved the open airy store. Friendly staff offering tastings. There so many unusual flavors so glad they do offer tastings. Got the pistachio, mango, cookie dough and butterscotch (latter two I would not get again). They just started to make IC cakes so will look into that too. It will take me 3/4 trips to try the other flavors I saw. Glad they're in town! read more

I have loved this place since we found it tucked away among the shops at the Tralee Village complex over 2 yrs ago. This review is for sure tardy! There is an array of flavors to choose from to fill your palate with tropical fancy! Their ice creams and cakes are made in small batches, and are eggless. Sometimes they also have sugar-free flavors, but are never short of sweetness! A have a few flavors that I always come back to when I can't decide: Lychee, Guava, Kesar Pistachio, Rose Petal and Figs & Walnut. Even on cold days, I find myself coming here with my boys, just to imagine myself back in the islands with the sun on my back as I savor this dairy deliciousness in a cup! They especially put a huge smile on my face during the pandemic. A must visit even for a lactose intolerant creature like me, so don't forget your lactaid pills. A 'regular small' (2-scoop) cup usually hits the spot with my choice of 2 flavors. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! (PS-- no, it's not true that they demand tips. They ask and flip the cashier's screen that asks you if you'd like to tip before they finalize the transaction. If you are the kind who likes to be served and yet leave no tip, you can still opt for 'no tip' on the screen. This is a specialty ice cream place that are made small-batch, and prices will be higher than a mass-produced ice cream. For those who are not willing to pay the fair price for this, pls. do visit your local grocery store for a gallon of mass-produced ice cream that you can serve yourself.) read more

We had a blast choosing our ice cream with the (I think) store owner. We both got size small and did half and half so got to have multiple flavors plus a sugar cone. The flavors are original and most are fruit and nut based so it's healthier and delicious. Come here during shelter in place for your dessert fix or anytime! I got butterscotch and fig/nut. read more

Stumbled upon this place because it was open the latest. I was in for a pleasant surprise. The service was great, the place was clean! Large variety of fun different flavors. My personal favorite is the Ferrero rocher which is absolutely delicious. I just found it alittle odd that they ask you if you'd like to tip. Which I would do regardless, but I don't appreciate feeling forced to do so ! Besides that 10/10 would recommend!! read more

Pros: 1) Lot of unique varieties of ice cream if you need a break from regular/good ice cream flavors from Target, Costco, other places. 2) Clean 3) Good taste. Why am I giving only two stars? Ans: Read cons below Cons: 1) Demanding tips. I am one among few who like to tip only if you are happy with exceptional service or great conversation. I understand due to covid and touch-less experience, they kept their POS (point of sale) gadget behind glass shield. By default, have no tip selected and let customers decide if they need to tip or not. At cold stone, they sing a song sometimes. At other ice cream stores, they never ask, "would you like to tip today?" I understand it is your rights to ask and it is our right to deny. Don't give a dirty look when tip is denied because you didn't do anything exceptional except scooping ice creams and I didn't even try tasting. If I had to taste 10 different flavors or you make my day with great conversation, then any customer like me will tip without asking. 2) $$$$$$ (priced high) 3) Any business for profit is to make money but their milkshakes are mostly milk than ice-cream. I took a sip and asked myself, am I drinking cacao latte or milk shake. I went back in and had to complain and get a replacement. 4) Please give back to community/customers and your business will grow automatically if your quality speaks for itself. read more

I love their icecream , rich and flavorful with many options. But here is my problem - why are you guys so thrify ? If I go to shops like Salt and Straw & Baskin Robbins you get heaps on scoops to fit a cup. But at this place , the server gives you barely 2 scoops in fit in a 7 dollar cup. Really folks - you can do better. So I will take 2 stars off service. This thrify mentality will not do you good. Please be generous next time !!! read more

This is a small privately owned ice cream place that we stumbled upon one day while hanging out in Dublin. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He offered samples which was nice. They make the ice cream themselves. They have unique flavors with an Indian influence and the basics like chocolate and strawberry. FYI, they don't use eggs in their ice cream. They also have ice cream cakes. read more

We love Kwality's ice creams (their Paan flavour is my favourite) but this review is specifically about their cake. We wanted a custom cake at short notice and they were the only ones willing to take the order. Rama worked with us to customise the design and delivered it exactly the way we wanted. You can choose what ice cream flavour would you like in the cake - we went with a ferrero rocher ice cream with a chocolate cake. And it was absolutely delicious! Their prices are also unbelievably reasonable. We are surely going to be ordering from here again! Give them a try! read more

I ordered a falooda and was very disappointed. it was just ice cream with milk and added small qty of vermicelli and seeds for 8.99. I have seen other places they serve falooda with nuts, and may be with fruit cuts. read more

There's a local park nearby to enjoy the ice cream & hang out. The prices are cheap for the amount of ice cream that you get. Please know that there seems to be no a/c in this little shop but she has fans going. We went in the late afternoon so it was really uncomfortable inside. I had to leave and wait outside until the dessert was ready. It's hard to take these home as it melts fast so we sat inside to enjoy them. The Kulfi Falooda was too sweet, and the Chickoo tasted average. The texture of both was off, feeling like they were melting - may be an issue with the refrigeration? While the flavors were unique and exotic, I've had better-tasting Indian ice cream at other places. The ambiance was also a letdown - the place looked deserted and had a dull atmosphere. It didn't feel like I was enjoying a creamy ice cream, but rather a smoothie due to the melting texture. Put simply, a really solid place. I was really happy with the quantity Kwality offers, the small size having two scoops surprised me. I love and highly recommend the blue mango flavor and butterscotch. Those two flavors are my personal favorites, but the other flavors like rose petal are just as good. Really nice consistency for the ice cream across the board. Kwality has great service and has adapted really well to Covid.
