The young lady and older gentleman told me I had to get whatever service is recommended on the garment care tag. Out of 18 pieces of laundry only two pieces could be starched. Even though they have literally been starching my clothes for almost four years they still said no. I had no choice to leave my clothes last time but not in the future. Now I have to find a new cleaners.

I visited on December 8 to get pants hemmed, and Kim quoted a 3 to 4-day turnaround. However, it took until December 17 for the work to be completed. When I picked up my pants and mentioned leaving a bad review, Kim's indifferent response was 'thank you', which highlights the lack of care for customers and service quality. I absolutely do not recommend Stonebridge cleaners.

I don't usually write reviews, but there's one situation that specifically made me want to write one. I was stressing out a lot because I realized I needed my suit earlier than I had originally asked. I was worried it wouldn't be possible to get the tailored suit any earlier. But the owners were so understanding! They looked further into my situation and were actually able to get the suit to me THE SAME DAY!! Now THAT is service!! I don't get alterations often, but I felt like the price was pretty fair. I paid $126.85 altogether with taxes: this included pretty major alterations to my two piece suit PLUS full pressing and dry cleaning. They did all of that in less than a week for me, which I felt was super fast!! While the price is good, I'm really writing this review for the service. The couple who run this place are just so kind and friendly. They have absolutely earned my stamp of approval; I'm not sure when I'll need dry cleaning and tailoring services again, but I am sure of who I'll be going to for help! I found the card system they use to be very user friendly with clear instructions. And I've seen many regulars are happy to lend a helping hand if anyone gets confused. I have only ever seen one rolling cart to be used, and the chairs are few so if you come at a busy time, or in a weekend don't expect to find either available. The large washers are $11/cycle and can easily handle two larger loads together so I end up combining towels & rugs with my darks. The large dryers are $2/cycle but they don't dry larger loads with one cycle. I have found its more effective to split my larger loads into two dryers. I have been twice so far and have been pleased with Adamstone Local Laundry - I'll be back!

I pulled up at 4:58pm and the little punk teenagers running the store had already shut down, locked the doors and the little bastards snuck out the back and literally ran to their cars to avoid me!!! I'll be speaking to the owner about those plunks and they'll be looking for jobs soon!!! This place has always employed rude, entitled snowflakes to run their store and they've always been rude. This was the last straw though....running/laughing to their cars so one customer won't make them late to their ever so important and busy lives? Dang!! read more

DONT GO !! You will waste your money. I will drive an extra 5 seconds to another dry cleaner for sure. They lie to you about price and then tell you I'm not going to play " he said she said with you" I had a receipt with the price quoted yet they fixed a button and zipper with out asking and wanted a extra 30$ for it !! I can always count on a warm and friendly hello, help to and from the car, and a warm and friendly discussion while they collect a return our clothes. Recently, they taught off these years of great service with the deed of great generosity. Our family has been helping an elderly disabled neighbor without family who has struggled since his wife died a few years ago. Cleaning his home in anticipation of his discharge from hospitalization, we discovered several closets full of dirty laundry apparently accumulated since his wife died. Apparently his physical limitations prevented him from addressing the laundry and it just built up. The resulting more than two truckloads of laundry was overwhelming. I'm sure where to go for a solution, I contacted my friends at Star Cleaners. I was overwhelmed by the response. Not only do they have a great laundry service, they charitably arranged a substantial discount that I can only hope is breakeven for the services. Certainly the service wasn't reduced in anyway. The laundry had been sitting for a long while, contained some dirt that many cleaners would be reluctant to handle, and in many cases required extra treatment and care to remove stains, mildew, and other issues. Despite these challenges, the Star Cleaner family provide Cadillac service salvaging virtually all of the linens, dry cleaning, clothes, and other laundry with the same meticulous care and detail as one would expect for much valued antique wedding dress or a priceless designer gown. If you or your family need dry cleaning or laundry for your every day needs or for some special item, I encourage you to check out Star Cleaners. Their prices are affordable but their service and quality are off the charts.

Warning - Do NOT take your leather goods here!…read more I brought my 100% leather coat (purchased in Italy) to Royal Cleaners to have it cleaned and stored. Before leaving it, I specifically verified with the manager that they were able to properly clean real leather. She confirmed that they could. When I picked it up a week later, the coat was completely ruined -- the leather was faded, there was a hole in the front, and the sleeves were damaged. When I showed the manager, she said she didn't have to inspect it when it returned from the outside company that actually did the cleaning. I requested the name of the company they used and their business insurance information from both the manager and owner. They refused to provide it. Even my attorney attempted to get the information, but the owner still refused to cooperate. I eventually had to take them to small claims court, but the judge wouldn't review all the photos, emails, or attorney letters. The judge stated I should sue the company that cleaned the coat -- even though Royal Cleaners was the one who hired them and took responsibility for the service. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. If you value your leather or designer items, do not take them to this cleaner.
