Kwik Kar lube & Tune is located on E Broad in Mansfield, TX, serving up the local community in all car related services, including oil changes, brakes, and even state inspections. I came in to get a state inspection for my car that is required yearly by the state to ensure your car is safe for the road. They check brakes, lights, emissions, and more. They opened at 8 a.m., and I went ahead and called to ask if an appointment Is required. The gentleman replied that no appointment is nessasary and it's first come, first serve basis. I went ahead and drove there and was serviced immediately! There was no line, and I was told to wait in the waiting room. Inside the room, they have a full complimentary coffee bar with sugar and creamer for your daily caffeine needs. They also have restrooms, a TV, and chairs to sit in while you wait for your vehicle. Within 10 minutes, my car was finished, and I paid. The value is standard for all vehicles since it is mandated by the state. I was given a receipt with the inspection to take to the county tax office to get my 2024 sticker stating that my car passed. The service was so quick and efficient that I hurried up and drove home to pick up my second car to bring in for another state inspection. I wish when bringing in my car they informed me on what they were checking but unfortunately I had to search on what was inspected on the internet beforehand. The team did such a great job that I will be back in the future for other services they provide but not for another inspection since the in 2025 state inspections will not be required. read more

I have been having our cars serviced here for over 15 years. The service and attention to detail has always been exceptional. Unfortunately, not anymore. Lack of attention to detail, charged for a full service oil change and did not complete the work, they broke my coolant reservoir and did not own their mistake. Lastly, while they had the vehicle they did not complete the annual state inspection work so I had to make two trips to the shop. This is unfortunate. I do not recommend this location. read more

I was a long term supporter and friend of the previous owners. Took my 2020 Ram in today for an oil change and told the technician that I had my own oil ( 5W-20 Mobile 1 and Mobile one filter. I looked some time later to see the same young man putting my two empty 5 quart containers in the trash can. I approached him and asked where was the left over oil and he said, "I put all 10 quarts in". Needless to say I was furious. I approached another employee and asked if he was the manager. He said he wasn't but asked if anything happened due to the overfilled crankcase. I said not yet. It's still in your bay. He said they would drain the extra oil. A short time later I was informed that my truck was ready. No apology for this potentially damaging screwup. Clearly there's a lack of training and little supervision in this shop. Will not be returning!!! read more

The management is very dishonest and the quality of work is horrible. I took my vehicle here to stay up to date with the maintenance to prevent mechanical issues. less than a week later my car is at the mechanic because they failed to do their job. Do your self a favor and the headache by going somewhere else. read more

Do not take your car here. If they make a mistake they will not help you in anyway and try everything to not take responsibility. If you do choose to go here, make sure you have full coverage insurance. This place destroyed my engine. read more

The day before Thanksgiving I went to get my oil changed and ended up getting my brake pads and rotors done too. Since I was leaving town the next day and knew the underlying issues needed to be done I went ahead with the work especially since they helped me out big time with an affordable price. They even gave me a better deal than the Dealership which usually gives me the best price. I actually noticed a huge difference after they quickly and efficiently worked on my Tahoe. I will definitely be going back! Thanks, Mansfield Kwik Kar! I wish I could give this place another review to make up for the one star that they received because of an opinion concerning health as if they were a hospital. This place used to be a decent place to go to. Either ownership has changed or the owner doesn't care about the practices I saw there just a little while ago. I walked in and was told two vehicles were ahead of me. I thought cool, I can deal with that and was instructed to pull around to the back and get behind the white car. It was the second in line. The first was in the bay and was just pulling out completed. Then...this other "representative" for the company comes out and asked me if I could find a parking spot. Well, I was exactly where I was told to be and in the position in the line I was told I was. I mentioned that I was told I was third in line and now this guy tells me that there were three "other" vehicles before me now. So he stands there as if just wanting me to say something else. lol He was a this little guy walking around that facility like he owned the place. I watched another guy drive out of there after talking to this same guy. I'm sure he probably didn't like his attitude either and decided to go somewhere else just like I did a few minutes later. Not before witnessing this same employee jump into a silver truck and pull it into the bay in front of me like he stole it. When I saw that, I knew he wasn't getting anywhere NEAR our vehicle. Before I left, I literally watched one of the "mechanics" come out back with a five gallon barrel and empty antifreeze not only onto the parking lot but into the grass as well. That was all I needed to see. They'll never see a penny from me or anyone else I can tell. This place used to have a lot of nice, courteous people. I guess good help is hard to find after all. Went here for a state inspection when my regular guy down the street was out on leave. Wish I hadn't. These idiots failed my inspection claiming my wiper blades were bad. Charged me $45 extra bucks for two new blades that I didn't need. On top of that, while I was waiting the manager pointed out to one of the Techs a line of oil trailing out of the garage bay and down the street. The managers comment was just "wow". These idiots just blew up somebody's engine by forgetting to replace an oil drain plug after they serviced it. Didn't even bother to try and track down the customer to fix it. Yes sir, "wow" doesn't even begin to describe how poor your service is here. Don't worry, I will NEVER be back here again. read more

Just had my oil changed and not one employee was wearing a mask. It is difficult to understand why wearing mask is such a big deal. I am not sure why the owner would let this go on. What I am sure of is that there are a lot of other places that can drain and fill oil that will not put my health at risk. Will NEVER return to this business. read more

I LOVE this shop! They are honest and have quick service. I had gone to another mechanic first who quoted me a full-blown repair for over $300. Brought my car in here for a second opinion, and they determined that it only needed some o-rings! I was in and out in under 30 minutes for around $20. Now I won't take my car anywhere else - I drive 13 miles out of my way just to get my oil changed, because I know I can trust them. They always tell you what else may need to be done to your car, and give you a time frame so you're never on the spot for an extra repair. If they tell you that you should do it "today", believe them!!! read more

Manager of location tried to lie to me about them damaging my lug but on my truck. Snapped it completely off and told me it was already like that. Then tried to charge me extra $100 to fix what they broke. Would not let me speak with owners of location. Very unprofessional and liars. Truck was having first ever rotation and wheels had never been removed up till this point. Completely done with this place!!!! read more
