Was told over the phone they will price match the groupon and to not buy it. When I pulled up, I was met with constant up charge after upcharge. Went in expecting $235 and when I arrived he told me $380 because he changed didnt know it was that low. If someone didnt know any better they would have gotten away with it. I ended up getting just a oil change and when it was done, my battery was dead and was told because of the little to no corrosion on my battery. Very bad experience, do not recommend unless you dont mind mechanics with lack of integrity. This is the absolute worse place l've ever been to for an oil change. The older man(and I use that term lightly) was telling me about an issue he "found" with my car. I said ok show me. When he showed me l told him I take very very good care of my car and it's NEVER done what he was showing me. So l asked him if he maybe hit something while doing the oil change and he got ABSOLUTELY IRATE!!! HE STARTS YELLING AND SCREAMING AT ME ASKING ME WHY DID I SAY THAT!! I told him cause I haven't been having ANY issues with my car and I only needed an oil change. SO HE KEEPS YELLING AND YELLING AND YELLING AT ME AND GOT IM MY FACE YELLING! So I jumped in my car and put the window up and as I'm putting my window up he's STILL YELLING THROUGH MY WINDOW!!! This place needs to be shut down immediately. Especially if this is how they treat women customers that ask questions. He tried to scare and intimidate me. I will be making a police report as well. Go there at your risk. WORSE PLACE EVER!! Found this shop through groupon when searching for a good deal on a brake job for both front and rear axles. I called in and they were straight forward and transparent about there being an additional charge as my car is newer. Still saved a ton compared to the dealership that wanted to charge 3x as much +fees for the same job. They quoted me a time frame for the job, and met that time frame. Drove around for about 20 minutes and the squealing from the old brakes is gone and the stopping power is back. I would certainly come back in the future for other services. I took my truck in for a tune up and oil change. Got the truck back and before i got home it threw 2 codes P0171 P0174, directly related to the tune up. Truck was whistling and clicking. Turned around and went back to the shop they were closed and gone for the day. closed on Sunday so i cant go in tomorrow. I will deal with it on Monday and update review based on that experience. Also the truck had oil all over the place, steering wheel, floor mat, and spilled all over engine bay. This place used to have a young kid mechanic working the cars and he was one of the best I've experienced. Today was an older man who clearly didnt give a dang about the quality of work. read more

This company screwed me over. Purchased a Groupon that specifically stated it covered both front brake pads and rotor replacement. Only when I get there they tell me it doesn't cover rotors and I'll have to pay an additional $140 for that. Which the Groupon never mentions anywhere. And they were quite rude when I questioned that. And to top it all off, they didn't even do that correctly. The brakes where still pretty unresponsive afterwards, so I took it to a different mechanic who said they didn't properly bleed out the air when replacing the brake pads and rotors, which caused my brakes to go "soft" . Which almost caused me to get in an accident when my brakes didn't respond. So I let that mechanic correct the issue, and will definitely never trust Grand Prairie Auto with my car ever again. read more

I bought my car in because my gas acceleration did not match the amount of pressure I was putting on it when driving . He stated that my car will need a tune up in a few months but there was nothing major wrong with it . Yelp says they open at 7:30am. Safari says 8:30am. I showed up at 8:28am. It is now 10:05 and no one is here. No sign on the door and no message that they are closed today on their phone. Wow! They don't like making money. I saw many reviews about this place on another site, that complained about the same thing. One lady waited quite awhile but had to go get an oil change somewhere else and was late for work. One of the reviews got a reply from Grand Prairie Auto. It was an apology and said that the mechanic was late. Well, what's their excuse for all the other times? Why do you treat people like this? Just so wrong. Also, I had a Groupon. My Groupon suddenly said I had used it before I had ever been to Grand Prairie Auto. I thought perhaps I had been pushing buttons that I shouldn't be pushing. So, I notified Groupon and they were kind enough to reactivate it. A few days later, I see it shows as used again. I believe this is Grand Prairie Auto's handy work and I do not trust these people, especially with my car. I purchased my breaks brand new from them and they charged me 150.00 to put them on. I thought everything was great a few weeks go bye and my breaks started to sound horrible! I went back asked them if they could fix it and they asked me for my proof of payment. Ghufran was the one who checked me out I finally found my proof of payment.
