A Cashier with a better attitude and professionalism, I was trading in my scratcher's and I noticed the machine said 63.00 when she scanned my tickets, so I just said nicely "did you know your machine says 63.00, and she showed me my tickets and I told her nicely, yes I won 50.00, just wanted to make sure you were aware of it and she went crazy and said "I DO WHAT I WANT" yelling like a crazed person, I only said something because I was not aware if that was important, but anyway then I was bothered for her rude behavior and ask her what is your name ? And she answered next customer and kept yelling crazy, I just told her you need to be nicer and kinder. Morale of this story don't tell them anything they do what they want ‍ read more

They've come into the 21st century! This station usually has the cheapest prices around. They have a ton of pumps, and access is good. Here's the trade-off: This is a dicey area. Don't be surprised if people approach you asking for money. They also want you to keep the restroom locked, so it's not vandalized. It's a little too late, since the restroom is already trashed. But on the other hand, it's free, and they cheerfully give you the key. Just be sure to bring the key back. The staff here are usually super friendly. I like getting a good deal. SCAM! Came in late after work to get gas, and card wouldn't work at the pump. Ok, fine, go up to the window, and the guy takes my card, and he says it"declines." It is very interesting as it shows the payment went through. Guy ripped me off. Dont let the cheap prices fool you. This guy is a scam artist. Will be filing fraud with my bank tomorrow. As i excited highway 80 at rockville road, i was surprised to see regular gas at 3.86 and diesel at 4.06, certainly cheaper than oaktown. naturally i filled up. downtown stations' diesel was still relatively high at between 4.39 and 4.59. certainly will check out this station and the valero on this street next time i'm in town.. read more

Just few minutes ago I almost got scammed at the corner gas station Kwik Serv on Oliver Drive. I put my card in, zip code etc., I pulled the nozzle out of the nozzle holder and when it was time to select the octane grade, I wasn't able too. I tried to cancel the transaction, I wasn't able to do so. I looked inside the nozzle holder and somebody had stuffed ball of paper towel inside it, preventing the switch to engage. After pulling out the paper, the gas pump worked just fine. I went inside the gas station to let the attendant know, but he just told me to go to another pump. If I have moved, someone else would have pumped gas. If this happens to you, check everything and do not move till you cancel the transaction. read more

What jerks. We live in LA and visit our family in Fairfield every couple of months. Our going home routine involves getting gas and a car wash as we head out on the road... Long story short, we bought a car wash and drove in. It sprayed underneath for a second then just stopped. We waited a couple of minutes and nothing. So we drove out to the cashier to ask, she was SO RUDE! She said we moved our car so the wash was over and that was it. The car was still dirty and she said it was our problem not hers. I asked for the manager and she gave me a name and phone. Furious I went back to the car and called....... It was the phone in there! She answered and when asked said the manager was on vacation for another week!?!?! WTF! What a joke, crappy service in people and machines... I went to this gas station since it was conveniently off the freeway and the prices are good then suddenly I got a email alert from my bank stating they suspect fraud. My credit card info was stolen and charged $1 here right after I used it here and then spent over $400 on other merchandise. Never going here again. It's a gas station, so what do you expect? Good prices, but usually there is a line and at least one pump out of service. Make sure you're ready to be agressive and fight for your pump! One plus about this gas station is that the price they advertise is the price you pay with cash or a credit card. I hate how some gas stations will charge more if you use a credit card and less if you pay cash. read more

*****ZERO STARS***** We used to buy gas here regularly. I removed the pump from tank and the fuel shot out all over the pavement. A guy came running out yelling at me to stop and I said, "it's stuck and i'm not pulling the trigger or anything." He was SO RUDE! Blamed me for the mess and stood there arguing with me that this was my fault. Another man (Obviously a manager or owner) came out and apologized for this employees bad behavior and and told him to go inside and get something to clean it up with. When he returned he started yelling at me AGAIN! Insisted that I did this on purpose and that I knew exactly what I was doing. TOTALLY RUDE!!!! Obviously the pump was broken or someone fiddled with it because normally, the gas wont pump until you insert the rubber nozzle perfectly inside your gas hole, A-HOLE! I've been going here for years. The price of gas is right. Today, I paid for a car wash, and I got screwed. That's not what gets me though. I went in to speak to the attendant, and what happened? She gave me attitude, told me it was my fault and said I wouldn't get anything. I pointed out that I paid for something and didn't get it. Her response, "that's your problem". Always have the cheapest gas in town and usually the car wash is working and cheap!

I paid $5 bucks for one car wash about 2 weeks ago. I entered my code and drove my car inside and clean water poured down for about 5 seconds. Then the car wash dies. I got out and went to the office to complain. The guy in charge told me I broke the car wash and he would not refund me my $5 dollars. I did nothing wrong so I was ready to call the police. He then called his boss on the phone and spoke to him in a foreign language. After talking to his boss for about one minute, he gave me back my 5 dollars. I never get gasoline at this station or buy anything else. I have used the car wash in the past, but now I would rather pay a couple of dollars more and go somewhere else. It is very frustrating to be stuck inside a car wash when it breaks down, and get out of the car right in the middle of this big machine. I could only back my car out because a barrier was in front of the car. Very irritating this happened, maybe just back luck? This place does not even deserve one star. The car wash dies after pouring soapy water, leaving the soap on the car. The previous time I was there the cashier didn't charge me for a take two, and the second time was a charm. I just went through the car wash today, it died on my with soapy water stuck on my car. I go to the cashier and the lady refuses to let me do a take two unless I want to pay again. I did everything right, including where I parked the car in the car wash, and still she wouldn't budge. I told her if she wronged me like that I'd refuse to buy gas there ever again. She said fine. Right now it's $3.29 both there and the closest competing stations. Next time I'll go to the Valero and or Arco nearby. read more

Can not believe my experience here today . I usually come here a couple times a week but today will be my LAST . I got a car wash in my brand new car & when I came out had white specs of God knows what all over ... I began to wipe off only when I realized it was leaving SCRATCHES . I quickly called to let them know of the issue & my frustration hoping they'd fix it .. only to be called a LIAR .. Dalia or whatever she mumbled her name to be was very argumentative & made me feel very uncomfortable. I came back to the gas station only to be called a liar yet again & her make up scenarios of what she believed happened .. first it was "oh it's your paint the paints not good" umm excuse me lady but whatever's all over my car is white & my NEW car is BLUE ! Then it was "you must of drove by someone painting their house" not once apologizing or taking responsibility for what happened at her so called establishment. Unfortunately I got off the freeway to get gas at this Kwik serv.The first Gas Pump did not work so the cashier charged me twice to send me to another pump, then the carwash brock my driver's side mirror. When I asked the cashier Dallia to help, she told me the owner has gone to India and will not be back for two weeks. She refused to give me his name and or number. I gave her my name and number and have not heard from the" owner", I since have found the number and called several times and visited the station several times, the "owner" is never there and they have not return my calls. The cashier told me that everything breaks down and the owner never fixes anything. Every time I call I try to get the owner's name so I can file a claim with the local small claims court, but all employees tell me they do not know the owners name. The companies name is CAL PETROLEUM INC. I even think I talked to the owner's son, who called himself "Victor" and he told me he does not know the owners name. STAY AWAY. read more

Reading these reviews is very helpful now I know I'm not the only one. On May 1, 2015 on my way to school I stopped here at Kwik Serve for a car wash. The machine slammed against my passenger side and then took out my passenger side mirror that does not move. I immediately drove out and told the attendant. She came out and took pictures and so did I. she told me the manager was not there and would be there in a couple of days. I went and got an estimate from ford and gave it to the so called manager Dave. He told me since the damage was over $80 they would have to go through insurance. I have been going back for the past month and caught the manager only once and he offered me $120 but my damage is $317 so I refused. Every time I go back the manager is not there and the Latin lady cashier always ayes he is on vacation. Does anyone knows who owns this location? Since they are not taking care of this I'm filing a lawsuit. They are not getting away with this. I'm contacting the BBB as well. read more
