Seafood is not cheap so if you are going to invest, you want good quality, and that's what you'll find. Generally, their fruits and vegetables are high quality as well, and sometimes you just have to sort through them to find the best choices. Once inside, there was a fish counter on the left side that featured live seafood and sashimi grade fish. I got some bluefin tuna at $29.99 a pound. Quality was good and the price was comparable to other specialty markets. I also got some ripe avocados for $1.19 each, which was way cheaper than Safeway. Aside from fresh seafood and produce, they appeared to carry a good variety of Asian staples. However, I was unable to check out that area because a shopper lost her pearl earring and multiple workers were helping her to find it. :-P This is a good place to shop if you live in the area, especially if you don't want to drive to Concord or Dublin for Asian items. 4 stars.
