You really have to take this place with a grain of salt. For starters, it is in the hood!! the owner can be a little mean, but I usually just ignore him and keep it moving. What I do like about this place is that it is open every day and until 11 PM so when I have a late night emergency, I know that I can get a tire here. It does get a little busy, but I find it when I go as they open or if I come around 9 PM, it is not too crowded especially on like a Sunday night, but usually early mornings I am in and out. I do suggest calling prior to find out if they have your tire or not so that you do not waste a trip. I've called reputable tire shops and for my car a brand new tire always cost about 200 bucks, at this place it'll run me between $100-120. I have gotten used tires from here that have lasted me a long time, and I've paid no more than $55. I will say this, if you can have a man call or go with you, as a woman, please do so.! I have called and was told that they only have brand new tires and when I've gotten there, and I've gone with a male, all of a sudden the used tire is available lol. They do think a lot of us women don't know what we're talking about when it comes to cars so you have to let them know that you're not stupid or slow. I believe they do mechanic work as well, however, I've only gotten my tires there. They are quick and cheap. and again, if you can ignore the owner's attitude from time to time, the experience isn't too bad. read more

Owner dismissive and mean. Will never be back :( seems sketchy anyway, pulled in without calling and he deemed it a sin. I told him I just needed a tire changed and I waited 30 minutes before they even touched my vehicle. They were rude when they did and my car feels only half-better since their "maintenance." Don't know waste your money here, they are scammers. Workers are kind though! Just think it has to do with whoever the SELFISH, TRASHY management approves of this! But when my son went to get the job done, they replaced my brand new Bridgestone tire with a crappy used one! What kind of scam is that? They charged me for the used tire too, which is totally unfair. And when I finally realized what happened, I went back to Kwik Stop and asked for a refund. But instead, they denied that they ever had my tire and refused to give me my money back. They're nothing but a bunch of thieves, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you want to avoid getting ripped off and taken advantage of, stay far away from Kwik Stop Rims and Tires. They'll rob you blind and leave you with a crappy used tire, just like they did to me. Whenever you need service on your car the most other mechanics will jerk you around, force high prices on you and tell you they close at the most inconvenient times. But not this place. They are open at convenient times and on the weekends! My only recommendation is to come on an off day when you have time to kill. They get ALOT of customers so they get backed up a bit, if you want to save your money. Okay, so this is your basic tire shop. Its a little hood... Actually quite rachet, so if you can't deal with loud Caribbean folk, my advice, "stay away." The cool thing is right behind it is a convenience store by the same name which even has BBQ and homestyle food. "Giggle to myself" you can't make this stuff up. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. He explained everything they were doing with my car, and even worked with me on the rate which was wholesale reasonable..... Yay! It is an ethnic spot, Caribbean in nature, so I only advise going here if you are very comfortable in that type of setting. Definitely not in the best neighborhood in Broward. Horrible service!!!!!! Took my brand new truck to this spot to get a patch on a tire and they took my center cap off and placed the front part of it facing the cement. The face was scratched so I decided to see if they would be fair and just not charge me or give me a discount. When I ask for some type of compensation the man laughs at me. The price was $25. The guy tells me since I asked to get a discount he's going to actually charge me more $30 as if this was some kind of joke. He tells me the guy didn't mean to do it. So I tell him I understand but At the end of the day accident have consequences too. They still charged me even though they damaged my center cap. I have brought my car in for slow air leak. They spent their time looking for leak and couldn't find it. No charge. The leak persisted , went back a few weeks later. We noticed a gash in the inside side wall, most likely due to missing the track at the carwash. I was due for new set of tires. They were able to match best price i could find online. Included mounting and alignment. Sure they're rough around the edges but smile and they will smile back. I've been there are few times with no issues. This place is the worst place in the world , I came to change all four of my tires and the owner gave me four used tires .
