We've had a couple different insurances and even paid out of pocket to stay when our insurance changed because we love Dr. Chris so much but this is the second time one of my kids has been scheduled more than our allotted 2 times a year for a cleaning per our insurance and have no idea why we were scheduled that way. I thought it was an honest mistake.. but now it's happened again and I've been trying to get a hold of someone to find out why and make sure they are more careful so this doesn't happen again and I've gotten the run around and haven't received calls back for MONTHS. Meanwhile the charges keep racking up because every time they send a bill it's an additional $10 charge. !!!MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT SCHEDULED MORE THAN YOUR INSURANCE WILL COVER!!! Dr. Ashley Currington, DMD cares about her patients. This was a simple procedure. I tell everyone I see about the great treatment you receive in her practice. They took photos of my teeth and showed them to me on a large monitor to point out where I had tooth decay. Since there were so many "cavities" they divided the work into two appointments. The first appointment was very uncomfortable, the dentist seemed rushed and didn't want me to swallow as often as I needed to. I was sick with a sinus infection and tried to cancel the 2nd appointment on the Friday before a Tuesday appointment over a holiday weekend. They were very aggressive about wanting to charge me for the appointment. I decided to get a second opinion and actually got two other dentists to look at the photos and x-rays and they both said the so-called cavities were only stains and natural wear on the teeth and did not need treatment. Sadly, I had already paid for over $2K in unneeded and uncomfortable dental work.

He said one thing the first visit and a totally different thing this time. He's all over the place. I will find a kind and competent dentist that listens to medical concerns. And by the way, I have friends and family who have left the practice since Dr Owen took over, because of some of the same things I am sharing now. However, his assistant was a helpful and polite young man. I am blessed to be surrounded by kind, competent and compassionate medical professionals. Unfortunately, Dr (??) Owens is not one of them.

Why would they leave doctors on their website that aren't working there anymore? If they can't even keep their website updated, can I trust them with my dental care?
