I tried the Rustic Tuscan and it was so good! The brioche bun was super fluffy as well. I can't believe I got such a solid sandwich for only $6.50- the prices are great. Kyle's has grown on me When first opened on Calle Real, I attended a Yelp Event and followed up the experience with some lunch dates. I was not impressed by the size to price ratio and the taste of the food I tried. I'm happy to say that I've figured both out. First the portions. The size is actually what I should be eating. Smaller burgers, smaller sides, smaller salads, smaller me. It's not something our bodies may be used to and therefore, I felt hungry in the afternoon. Eating healthier in general also helps combat the hunger. And making it a "Pair" with a sandwich and salad and not fries, helps too. Sure it sets you back almost $11 with tax (drinking water) but it's easy and I find it filling. For the food, it's the Rustic Tuscan Chicken Sandwich & Farmhouse Salad is my new go-to at Kyle's. It's healthier than a Double Double and supports a good cause. But you already know all about the charities. If you don't, please come in and ask how Kyle's is helping the community. There's still some flavors in the burgers and fries I'm not keen on so I'm sticking with the chicken and salad. This is one of our go to places. Great philanthropic place with quality food. However we were disappointed with our past 2 visits. They forgot our drinks and fries and when I went to the counter and reminded them I got the drinks but we never got the fries. Also the bathrooms were really nasty and looked like they had not been cleaned for days. Disappointed by this. A restaurant's bathroom is a direct reflection of the overall hygiene of the place. This location is fairly new and is flanked by ample parking and a large, sunny patio. The inside decor is fun and urban-inspired which I enjoy. The menu selection is large and they seem to offer a little something for all tastes, particularly those with dietary restrictions. Having such a carefully-tailored menu is rare and I do appreciate that they offer it. I know that I can come here with friends who are vegan, gluten-intolerant or keto and rest assured they'd have a good amount of options to choose from. The biggest selling point to me is that a portion of my bill goes to a local charity. They update the source monthly and the featured organization is always a well-deserving recipient. Great find! Travelling to Hollywood for AIDS Lifecycle and couldn't stomach another ALC lunch. We found Kyle's and glad we did! We had small salads, plenty for us. My friend had the Thai salad, and I had the Ahi tuna salad. Both had fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients and the tuna was seared perfectly with white and black seasame seeds. I've paid much more in fancier places and didn't get a salad as good as this one. And they support great causes for kids with special needs. Kyle's is okay. I started out more enthused, but I have recently become more bored with their offerings. There's nothing wrong with the food, but there's also not much that gets me excited or makes me want to come back. In person, ordering works great and is easy. The lines, even when they seem long, don't really take that much time, as everyone has typically figured out what they want by the time they get to the register. However, ordering online is often a nightmare with the website timing out, and the employees are instructed not to take phone orders unless the online system is down. This becomes a problem because the employees on the phone seem untrained on how to take phone orders. If you're looking for something quick and easy, Kyle's is definitely better than any big fast food chain. However, it's not anything excited given the excellent food in the area. read more

Tried this place recently for lunch. Service was fast, restaurant nice and clean and the staff was super friendly. i ended up getting a bacon bbq burger medium done. Though the meat was cooked perfectly, the meat amount is a bit dinky in size! The burgers are small when it comes to the patty themselves. Flavors of the BBQ sauce was really good though, can't complain. There are a ton of options for everyone also, with everything from salads to burger selections that cover all ranges of tastes. Honestly for the area, you can't beat the price. Super affordable for good food. We did get the texas cheese fries. Which, eh, were ok. Being from texas I expected more loaded up cheese throughout. they kind of just pile on some fries and only put things on the top layer. LOVEEEE Kyles. It's one of my go-tos in SB! Not only is it a good cause (they donate to disability organizations) they have great food as well! I know Kyle's is known for their burgers and fries but I go for their Thai Peanut Salad with chicken. I love salads. Kyle's salad is a big winner in my world. The lettuce is always fresh and really green and never limp. I really like the onion rings and the scallions and they taste so good together. I know I shouldn't use all of that Kyle's dressing but it's so darn good I just have to pour it on. This location serves used to sell premium Hamburgers. My last couple experiences have been fair to midland: 1. Answer phone for take out. They refuse to answer the phone, for take out. I got there and 3 people standing around, wasn't that busy and they tell me their busy..so they don't a answer the phone..I said does not look too busy to me? (No sorry, nothing, just lies, deceit and excuses) 2. Quality.c The burger, I was always ok with paying more, but lately it appears the size of the burger and the condiments the burger comes with is lacking and reduced by a small significant portion..maybe 35% 3. Service (tipping) The service personnel there at Kyle's want a tip, but they refuse to answer the phone and they won't even include a napkin in the bag the burger comes with. (How can you demand a tip with credit card purchases and not even include a napkin in a hamburger bag.. this task would take under 1/10 of a second. No offense, but these young adults feel completely entitled....to provide poor service; welcome to the bubble in Southern California and the extra bible of Santa Barbara..where everyone is entitled..I just don't get it...these young adults will not survive in the real world. We've been coming here for years since the Hollister location has opened up. Upon arriving you step into a quaint casual place. There are menus for you to look at while in line. When we got to the register the Trainee's smile welcomed us. Ordering seemed straightforward, burgers/sandwiches are mostly $6 (some $1 or $2 more) and for $4 more you can make it a meal. The trainee took our order, but somehow missed one of the sandwiches, which is frustrating as there were only 4 people in the group. They should repeat back the order before someone pays. Just courtesy to make sure everything is there. They also have happy hour which you can get a beer for $4, pretty good deal or you can get a pitcher for $14. When we got the sandwiches, they were devoured in minutes as they were really good. Mine came about 5 minutes later. I had the chicken club, which was a chicken breast with bacon, avocado, tomatoes, etc. Really good, moist chicken, very flavorful. BF had the Ahi Tuna, others had the chicken avo sandwich, and a burger. We also had the stinky pig fries, blue cheese and bacon on top of the fries.
