I took care of the suspension problems and brought it back at a discounted price.even then the alignment is still of and I'd rather just go somewhere else then have them attempt it a 3td time, also had them balance some tires for me.. after picking up the car they said the tires weren't capable of being fully balanced and still charged me for the balancing, any good shop will call you to inform you of tire problems before performing a balance. they also broke a hub spacer on the process and failed to inform me, I drove the car home and now the rim is completely screwed. place is money over service and it couldn't be more clear.

My experience with their service department has been absolutely unacceptable from beginning to end. Their service department is one of the most frustrating and poorly managed operations I have ever dealt with. It is run by Keith, a service manager who apparently has no interest in returning phone calls, communicating with customers, or taking responsibility for problems. Getting a response from him is nearly impossible. When you finally do reach him, you are met with an attitude that is rude, arrogant, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. A service manager should be someone who knows how to communicate, solve problems, and treat customers with respect. Instead, dealing with Keith has been the complete opposite. The lack of professionalism, knowledge, and basic customer service skills has been shocking. In the three months I have been dealing with Szott Ford, I have gone through three different service representatives because employees keep leaving. That kind of turnover does not happen without a reason, and it says a lot about what is going on behind the scenes. After this experience, I would strongly advise anyone thinking about bringing their vehicle here to reconsider. Your time, money, and patience are worth more than being ignored, talked down to, and treated like your business does not matter. Szott Ford has completely lost my trust, and I will never bring another vehicle here for service

Needed to get my DPF…read morefilter cleaned - was recommended to this business by the DPF cleaning facility once determined my filter couldn't be cleaned. The mechanics at MAD DIESEL replaced my DPF Filter as they were installing the new sensors they claimed one sensor was wrong and I would have to get a hotel room until after the 4th of July for them to get a new sensor. A few minutes later they said they actually had a sensor in stock that would work and the mechanics at MAD DIESEL (one of the mechanics was the owner of Mad Diesel) installed the sensor they said they had in stock into my truck. They test drove my truck, I paid & I left for home in Nebraska. In the South Side of Chicago my check engine light went on my truck told me my BRAND NEW DPF filter was full and I needed to stop driving. I had my TRUCK TOWED FROM CHICAGO TO IOWA ON THE 4TH OF JULY HOLIDAY to my mechanic in Council Bluffs Iowa. My mechanics tech found a EGT sensor was not reading as high as it should, found it had been BUTT CONNECTED AND WAS ACTUALLY A FORD EGT SENSOR!!! Mad Diesel installed a FORD sensor into my DODGE RAM truck. My mechanic's tech replaced the sensor with a MOPAR sensor & had to force regen my truck 2 times. I drove the truck for a day and the check engine light comes back on / truck is constantly Regenning. After several attempts to fix this problem I took my RAM truck to a Certified RAM Dealer for ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC. H&H Dodge Ram - They found that the constant regeneration had built up excessive soot in my downpipe from my turbo to my replaced DPF filter. Upon examination they found the bracket between the pipe and filter was loosened or not properly re-clamped down and had worn a hole through my downpipe, from the install of the DPF filter. Now I have to pay to have my downpipe replaced not just cleaned. Plus more issues all stemming from installing a Ford Sensor which caused my brand new DPF filter to fill up to 95% backing soot up into my system. I've spent over $14K to try and resolve MAD DIESEL's deliberate negligence installing a Ford Sensor into my RAM Truck. They are now avoiding me by not answering phone to discuss. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS!!

These guys took 4 MONTHS and almost 3k to "fix" the issue, it was back within 6 months. Took it to Gott's by sashabaw and they had it fixed in 2 days for a stuck exhaust valve, likely the cause of the original problem that didn't require taking the engine apart and doing a ton of diagnostics, that repair has held for a year now. I'd rate 0 stars if I could. I will never recommend this place, take your vehicle anywhere else.
