Kyma is a longstanding Greek restaurant that generally delivers. The portions have gotten smaller over time, but I still enjoy the food. Servers are excellent and friendly. In fact, it's a warm ambiance the second you step in...with the host/hostess sometimes offering some sparkling wine on the house. There are various spaces in the restaurant. You can go outside for some fresh air, to the bar area for a low key vibe, or a more traditional dining experience at a standard table. I have noticed that their prices listed on the menu are stale (to the detriment of the customer). On multiple occasions, we are surprised by a higher charge on the receipt than what was listed on the menu, but I let it go. Frustrating regardless. They really should update their menu instead of this nickel-and-dime approach....leaves a bad taste in our mouths.

Food was great - we tried the tasting menu. It was a bit pricey, but for the variety and volume you get, it was nice. the chef was super flexible and was able to swap something to make our dining experience better. The best part of the experience was the service for sure! Both our serving staff, the kitchen staff, and the chef were so wonderful. The servers matched our vibe and made everything more fun! Would recommend for a celebratory dinner or birthday.

Went to Kyma for my mom's birthday and walked away satisfied. Went with the ribeye well cooked and solid all around. The small intimate interior made for a nice experience and the service matched. Would return again. -Mr.

One word: WOW. This might actually be Atlanta's best seafood. I hadn't been to Kyma in many, many years--not for any reason other than it just doesn't come to mind (hello, marketing opportunity). But I've eaten here at least a dozen times over the last 10 years and always had a fantastic experience. This latest one? Truly next-level... and I happened to have dined a St Cecilia two days prior, very well known for best seafood, but I felt Kyma quality ran circles around it Space: Don't judge Kyma by its dated exterior or slightly tacky Greek décor--the food is some of the absolute best in Atlanta. Honestly, if the restaurant group invested in a fresh exterior sign and a little paint, I'd bet the return in increased traffic would pay for itself many times over. Valet: $3--don't forget to bring cash for a tip. Food: * The guys did the tasting menu for two ($160pp)--well worth the price point and every single dish was spectacular. Standouts: Veal Sweetbreads, dorade "tsipoura", & lobster wedding rice. I also loved the calamari ribbons * The girls ordered a spread of apps, and honestly, every bite was 10/10. (*favorites) * *Ceviche, Scallops, Octopus * Crab Cake, Eggplant, Watermelon Salad, Brussels Only complaint: dish pacing. We were there for about 4 hours, and the gaps between tasting menu courses were a bit too long. Would love to see the kitchen tighten up the cadence and for servers to check in if delays are expected.

Fantastic dinner at the Buckhead Life flagship restaurant Kyma. 4 course amazing dinner with Excellent service. Ask for Delaney when you visit. Try the Mediterranean Sea bass, lobster mussels, and Greek donuts for dessert. You'll love the variety of menu possibilities. Great cocktails and wines along with seasonal specials.

It's been way too long since we last visited! We usually love exploring new spots in the area, but this reminder of why we love this place was much needed. The food and service were absolutely amazing, and we scored a perfect little table on the patio. Huge shoutout to our bartender who went above and beyond--she walked us through a flight of Greek wines and every single one was a hit! We definitely won't wait this long to come back.

This was my first time here. We celebrated a friend's birthday, and this restaurant, the service.... blew me away. Everything was amazing. From the complimentary drink, to multiple staff coming to the table to clear plates, bring more food, knowing exactly what's on the menu and being able to describe it well, clean bathrooms, gorgeous decor, great food...I could go on and on! 10/10!

Everything was amazing from the experience to the ambiance to the service. The lambchop was the best I've ever had. We went with the chef recommendations and it was all so good.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best dining experiences that I've had for both food and service. I brought my husband here for his birthday and everything was perfect. Our server, Patrick, was awesome and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The ambiance was nice and we were seated in the most perfect booth with a great view of the dining room. We tried a few different menu items and everything was superb. We ordered the octopus and lobster! We mentioned the sea bass ceviche and Patrick brought us some for a tasting...omg chef's kiss. You can't go wrong with any of these appetizers. For entrees, my husband ordered the whole fish (think it was pink snapper or something like that) and it was very good. The fish was mild and buttery. I had the lamb chops and they were seasoned very well although slightly overcooked for my liking. We had some really nice wines as well, don't remember the names of them but my martini was tasty! It's called the Morpheus. Highly recommend! It has gin, st.Germain, hibiscus, and lavender! I cannot wait to return to Kyma.

Making reservations was incredibly easy through OpenTable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient valet service for only $3. It was an effortless start to what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the host and promptly escorted to our table without any wait. Our waiter, Kevin, was phenomenal. He did an excellent job explaining the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations, and making sure everyone's needs were attended to throughout the afternoon. The service was attentive without being overbearing--truly excellent and unforgettable hospitality. We started with the Chargrilled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller, and Calamari. Everything was satisfying, but the calamari was the standout for me. It had the perfect crunch and was quite literally fried to perfection. I would absolutely order it again. These appetizers are true staples and a great way to start the meal. We also enjoyed several rounds of cocktails. The bartender was able to execute a few off-menu, custom cocktails perfectly, and there were absolutely no complaints from our table. Everything was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the Blackened Branzino with lemon-herb beurre blanc, paired with whipped potatoes and Vichy carrots. By far, this is one of the best seafood entrées I've had in Atlanta. I've had branzino at plenty of other restaurants, but this one? It clears the competition and has officially claimed the #1 spot on my list. The fish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the sauce and sides. The rest of our party had equally impressive meals. I had the opportunity to sample the 12 oz. Prime NY Strip, Blackened Salmon, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, and Clam Chowder, and everything was amazing. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed. Overall, this was truly an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Great food, phenomenal hospitality, attentive service, and an atmosphere that made celebrating my mother's birthday feel special. I'm already looking forward to returning--and next time, I definitely want to check out the patio! A true standout for seafood in Atlanta. Highly recommend.

I came on a Friday afternoon during oyster happy hour, and it was packed. There's plenty of tables. However, because it was so busy, I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. I made one and came 5-10 min earlier and we were seated right away. But they gave us the table right next to the door so we'd feel the door opening and closing throughout our dinner. As for food, the $2 oyster deal applies to their regular oysters where you can get them grilled or raw and in either half a dozen or a dozen pieces. The oysters were overall kind of small. Honestly, the grilled oysters were better tasting than raw to me. The calamari was great though. However, the breading easily fell off. The garlic aioli is a good addition for more flavor combos. I wish the sauce could have been a little bit spicier but that's a personal preference. I tried their draftburger beer which on happy hour is $5. It's a good light beer if that's what you're into. Not bad. Cocktails were ranging $10-20. This place takes pride in their service and attitude - and you can tell from how they dress and how they run things. It's definitely a place to come back for whether it's for the oysters again or other entrees.

It's in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking, but you may not be able to park close to where you want to walk to the door to because there are so many other spots there. But the parking is free in Buckhead. So that's a plus! There's spaces inside and outside for you to go to, so that's good, but the inside is very nice and decorated very well. They have TV so you can watch sports but it's not a sports bar so don't get that confused. The bar is a nice size and set it pretty well. Not billions of bottles but just enough to what you need. Dean was my my server and bartender, super good customer service, very warm and communicative, and I would have come back just to sit at the bar with him again. The ball is very well kept and very clean, but the whole establishment was as well. They have a lot of space by the bar and to the other side of the restaurant as well. The menu is predominantly seafood related but they have other things as well. But they have a couple things that look like. They should be really really good so I am going to have to double back! Calamari - The calamari was pretty good. It came out really fast so it makes me think that they were already cooking by the time I ordered LOL. But it had a sweet chili sauce to it, but the calamari seem to be crispy and seasoned enough to where it wasn't a requirement. Brussel sprouts - brussel sprouts for good, kind of wish they had more of them but they were still pretty tasty. Overall. They had the vinaigrette flavor so I know that they were cooked well. They were more firmed and mushy so that was good. I would get them again and I was see. Can I get a full order instead of just a side order because they were just that good. Old bay fries - The Old Bay fries were okay. They had that sodium to where you needed ketchup to kind of bring the sweet. But they were still good though regardless. Shrimp tacos - these were good. Had 3 large shrimp. Got mine blackened and they were just the right amount of taste and flavor. The sauce on it was a little much but that was okay though, it balanced out all of the spice for the peppers and the shrimp seasoning. Gumbo - the gumbo was pretty good and it came in a large bowl, more than you would think a cup would be. Savory and tasty. Overall, with the quality of the food and the customer service, I feel like this place definitely deserves my attention again. The first time I went in I only had a couple of appetizers, and that really didn't do it justice.

This was my second-ever Lobster Roll and it was the second-best after a Cousins Food Truck. The B's portion seem significantly smaller and, at $35, more expensive. I tried the fried chicken entree with macaroni and broccoli on the sides which tasted amazing. The chicken wasn't too salty, the baked macaroni was cheesy but not too creamy (exactly how i like it) & the broccoli was pretty average until I decided to pour some of the hot honey sauce on it. Highly recommend! My friend tried the seafood eggrolls which were deliciously packed with shrimp & crawfish.
