Hamburger Steak, gravy fries and bread.

Excellent service and great food. We wanted something besides the normal run of the mill places. This was perfect. This place has character. Old style with antique bicycles hanging from the ceiling. Antique bar looks wonderful. Friendly staff. Excellent food. We ate the Hamburger Steak and gravy fries. Delicious. The bread pudding after wonderful. It's a big piece so bring your appetite. When the owner heard it was our first time in he walked from the back and personally introduced himself. Not many places with that old small town feel anymore. We will be back.

The cutest little eatery! The decor and the bikes hanging from the ceiling were fun to look at. The service was good. Our waitress was really nice. There was another woman I believe mixing the drinks was lacking personality but other than that we had a good experience. I got the steak special with the salad and baked potato. I have heard great things about the steak but I personally wasn't impressed. It was huge and thick but lacked taste. And chewy. I don't know that is just my opinion. My husband ordered the fish which he said was good. I do have to rave about the bread pudding they serve. It was delicious! Probably one of the best I've had. I will definitely go back and try something else from the menu.

This is a great place for lunch when on a road trip! Quaint, cozy, local restaurant. Walk in and find a place to sit. You order at the counter and they bring out your food. We ordered the whole fried shrimp po'boy and the fried oyster po'boy (both came with fries) and Abita beer. Lots of shrimp and oysters and they were freakingly delicious!! Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks and we left happy and full!

This is not a bicycle shop! The first time I tried going to KY's the name threw me off. I was pretty sure I had heard about it on the radio, but when I saw the name and building, I assumed it was an actual bike shop. While it does appear to have once been a bike shop, it is actually a pretty good place for sandwiches in the Old Towne area of Slidell. Once I finally realized that this place was indeed a restaurant, I knew I had to give it a try. I went during peak lunch time and there was a pretty substantial line. Despite being busy the line moved fast and the cashiers were very friendly. The restaurant is one large open room with tables in the middle and a long bench with tables along the wall. Normally restaurants that have a long bench like they did sacrifice privacy for seating. That was not the case here as the tables were spaced far enough apart that private conversations could be held. I always judge sandwich joints by their roast beef poor boy. KY's version was good to very good with homemade beef with a slight garlicky taste. The only other sandwich I have to compare it to in Slidell is Bear's and I think Ky's was better. If you are in the Old Towne area and want a good sandwich, I encourage you to check out KY's.

    Gumbo. Very good and favorable.

Perfectly fried shrimp every time. Love the house dressing. Attentive service. The poboys are loaded and the bread is soft but crackly.

Ordered their smash burger lunch special and ladies and gentlemen save your money and go to B.J.'s Brewhouse or Buffalo Wild Wings because atleast at those two establishments you get your moneys worth for the burgers. They're $13.95 burger is literally 2 small slider patties on a bun. I took a picture cause you legit can't make it up how small they were. Arrived at 11:45 and the only customers there ordered burgers and fries which finally arrived to the table at 12:27. This was the first and only time will visit this business.

This restaurant has mixed reviews but we found it wonderful! The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas! We started off with 3 Happy Hour Appetizers which were all good but our favorite was the spinach dip with pasta bow ties chips! So yummy! I couldn't decide which drink to start with when one of the bartenders said she had just created a Mardi Gras "New Fashioned" and made it a Christmas drink with icing and sprinkles. Wow!!!! It was delicious! I went on to have the Christmas Cookie martini which was also delicious and a Grinch Mimosa which was good as well. My friends got the Christmas margarita, the Crème brûlée margarita, eggnog martini and cinnamon White Russian. All were amazing! We actually like all of the drinks better than the ones we had at 2 Holiday pop ups! For entrees we had the Cypress burger which was cooked on point, juicy and flavorful along with cups of gumbo and a salad. All of the food was really good. We had a bonus of being there on Trivia night and had so much fun! The staff along with some of the regulars were extremely friendly and helpful. We all agreed we would be back.
