Fried fish, green beans and mac-n-cheese

Where do I start? I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while bc I drive by it a few days a week and finally was able to do it today. There is plenty of parking and the parking lot was clean. There is also a pickup spot for to go orders. We entered and were greeted and seated right away by a very bubbly, friendly woman who we later found out was the owner. She came back to the table and talked with us and repeated our names several times, even as we left. The restaurant has a really nice decor, a little old with new and it was clean. Very nice setup, tables, and chairs not too close together. Our server was really nice and friendly and attentive. The entire staff was friendly. THE FOOD: 1. **Fried Fish** Crispy, golden perfection. The fried fish was a symphony of crunch and tenderness. The batter clung to the fish like a flavorful armor, creating a satisfying contrast with each bite. 2. **Mac-n-Cheese** The macaroni and cheese were a comforting hug for the soul. Elbow macaroni swirled in a velvety cheese sauce--gooey, rich, and oh-so-indulgent. 3. **Green Beans** These green beans weren't your average side dish. They were vibrant, with chopped onions and pieces of bacon. I didn't make my way to the restroom, so I have no review on that.

My daughter and I had lunch at T Leblanc's in Slidell, Louisiana yesterday, and let me tell you--the food was outstanding! This spot really knows how to deliver when it comes to flavor. Everything we tried was excellent! They have a great menu and daily specials. I found out about this place by watching the RB & D guy's review on YouTube The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and efficient. We spoke with the owner who was very welcoming. She sent us home with some extra dessert since it was Friday and they were closing for the weekend. Overall, it was a great dining experience. If you're in the Slidell area and craving delicious, well-executed dishes, T Leblanc's is a place you won't want to miss. They are open 11-3, Monday -Friday.

Always looking for new place other than chain restaurants when traveling. This little place and reviews caught my eye. Service and attention were great. It was chilly and the hostess adjusted the temperature immediately. We were seated immediately. My husband and I shared the catfish because it came with 6 pieces. They were smaller than we expected but hot and filling. However it's enough for the price for one person.

T's food is absolutely delicious! I can't say enough about the food, the great service and the restaurant itself. I actually asked my waitress if I could take her home with me because she was so helpful! She went above and beyond with us and our leftovers. I don't know how but the breading on the fried shrimp was so light and fluffy and tasty it blew me away! Normally the breading is burnt or too crispy/hard, floury (if that's a word), and just yuck. Not at T's! And I've tried many, many fried shrimp dishes throughout the Northshore and new Orleans and none compare to hers. KUDOS!! Don't get me started on these onion rings either Or the bread pudding Or the corn & crab bisque

What a great restaurant. From our server Olivia to our appetizer (fried eggplant! OMG GOOD) to our entrees all really exceptional! Desert? Hands down the best coconut meringue I ever had! Seriously! The best!! Highly recommended this fine establishment my new favorite north shore restaurant.

I really like this place so I can't really give negative a negative review even though they did screwup a couple of things today. the turkey was bland and too much sage in the dressing. Auto Cozumel chicken taco soup was outstanding and I always give you hot French bread. Here's a tip for dessert don't go for the chocolate pies there's no meringue on Top of it! do you go to the coconut cream pie it's great

I won a gift certificate to this place and that's what initially got me here. Didn't even know they were here honestly. Turned out to be a good call. Nice local, neighborhood sort of restaurant. Ordered the Cajun two step which consisted of one seafood item and one other entree item. I got the Fried Catfish and Seafood Gumbo. Both of them were very nice and I would definitely get them again. The prelude was a side salad which looked like a pile of lettuce with a couple of pieces of other things underneath. It was fresh and crisp in terms of taste but was lacking something in the presentation. THAT BEING SAID - it was a very good meal, the mains, as I said, were very nice, the French bread slices were just right and enjoying those with a Pinot Grigio and everything else - it just worked. After the meal I tried the Coconut Cream Pie which was OFF THE CHAIN. Maybe the best version of that I've ever had - all homemade. That was a memory maker! One final word about my server for the day - Maria - she was friendly, professional, fast and attentive. Would come back just for the great service. All in all, a great local spot serving high quality seafood at very reasonable prices!! Definitely need to check this out!

Great service. Food was really good. Baked Mac & Cheese was the best. The pasta jambalaya had kidney beans in it... that was interesting.

The Sunday Brunch Buffet offered an impressive variety, and everything we tried was delicious, especially the tender ribs, flavorful brisket, and the perfectly chargrilled oysters. The view was unique and right on the bayou, which added a relaxed, scenic backdrop to the meal. With live jazz and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, the whole experience felt distinctly Louisiana in the best way. Friendly service, great food, and a beautiful setting made this a brunch we'll gladly return to.

For reference I've had acme, Dragos, superior seafood, New Orleans food and spirits. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly fried with boiled shrimp and a cucumber salad and remolaude on top. WOW! The shrimp were a party in my mouth. The bread pudding was also arguably the best in the area. Slightly firm, but incredibly moist, topped with cream and apple slices. Also, Natalie went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We'll go back often and ask for her. I do also appreciate restaurants were it seems there are working together to and sure customers have what they need The only downside was the bar tender didn't offer smiles. She had a very firm and unwelcoming look that didn't seem to go with the rest of the culture.

The Impeccable Seafood Platter is what we usually order, and it never disappoints. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order--always hot and full of flavor. In the five years we've lived in Slidell, Louisiana, there hasn't been a single time that the food wasn't absolutely delicious. The fish is perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp always tastes fresh and seasoned just right. Outside of the food, we also come for the sweet tea. I don't know who's making it back there, but it is consistently good every single time. The customer service is another reason we love this place. The ladies are always kind, welcoming, and attentive. They bring your food out to the table, check on you to make sure you have everything you need, and are more than happy to pack your food to-go if you can't finish it. For two people, we typically spend around $55 for the Impeccable Seafood Platter and two drinks--but honestly, it's enough food to feed about four people. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for fresh, flavorful seafood and great service.

Since it was later in the evening, they were out of a few menu items, but there were still plenty of good alternatives to choose from. Copeland's - Slidell…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I went to Copeland's in Slidell with my daughter. She ordered an espresso martini during happy hour, advertised at $9, and it was ordered creamed (with Baileys). There was no mention of any upcharge with the first drink. When she ordered a second espresso martini, also creamed, the waitress then told us there would be an upcharge, mentioning $1 at the time, which we were fine with. However, when we received the bill, the upcharge was $7.99, nearly the price of the entire drink itself. When we questioned the charge, the waitress said she had told us there would be an upcharge but stated she did not say it would be $1 -- even though that was how we understood it at the time. This led to confusion and an unnecessary back-and-forth that could have been avoided with clear, consistent communication from the start. A manager was involved. She explained that she had recently been promoted and initially seemed unsure about making the decision, but she eventually did make it right. Still, the situation should never have escalated over unclear pricing. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. I took my food and cheesecake home, and on the very first bite of my cheesecake, I found what appeared to be a piece of plastic wrapper inside it. That is a serious food safety concern and completely unacceptable. Between the unclear drink charges, inconsistent communication, and a quality control issue in the kitchen, this visit was a big disappointment. Customers should never be surprised by pricing or worry about food safety. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and kitchen oversight.
