Such a great spot right by Reading Market. They have plenty of seating, including really cute lovely honeycomb shaped booths, perfect for a cute date. Their service is great, and pretty fast even during busy times. Their ramen is delicious as are their sides and appetizers. I really loved their pork belly.

Omg, the best ramen I've had. Beautiful interior. Delicious edamame, delicious boba, and broth was so yummy. Would go again!

My first time at this restaurant was at the NYC location. I was so excited to be in town and walk past the Philly location and realize it was the same restaurant. The biggest downside was that I saw a HUGE roach run across the restaurant. We stepped on it and asked the server to clean it up but it ruined my appetite. I got the fried dumplings and taro milk tea and once my stomach settled, both were tasty. The kimchi ramen was my main course and if you like kimchi, definitely get this. The service was pretty good because we sat in the hive and had a little call button that we could click when we needed something!

I tried one of the NY locations and so when I saw this, I immediately jumped on it. Most of the food came out great, some of the ramens were meh (#3). The Ying Yang and the Kimchi ramens were good, though a little less spicy would have been ideal. The bao bun can be skipped, had a huge piece of fat on it. The kicker though was the roach we had to kill before it came under our table and that's when I started looking around. Vents and such also needed cleaning. It definitely has your stomach churning so killed the experience.

We were super excited to try out the Uber trendy Kyuramen. We walked in for lunch/dinner. There was about 20-30 min wait at the time, but the tables do turn quickly. We were hoping to be seated in the honeycomb, but we got seated in the back at a private booth instead. I think we actually ended up preferring this instead as it's more quiet. We ordered combo B to try a little bit of everything. It included popcorn chicken, spicy miso and tonkotsu shoyu ramen, with matcha pudding and the Japanese cherry blossom jelly. We really like the popcorn chicken which was seasoned well and juicy. Along with the two desserts as they were refreshing and weren't overly sweet. As for both the ramens, we found them to be very mediocre. I would be interested in returning just to try the omurice and matcha tiramisu.

I've seen Kyuramen in a few different cities across the U.S., but I never had the chance to try it until I noticed they opened one right across from the convention center in Philadelphia, super convenient while I was there for work. I stopped in for dinner the night I arrived, and it was exactly the warm, comforting meal I needed after traveling. The service was really friendly and attentive. Since it was a Monday night it wasn't too busy, and we were able to grab one of the honeycomb booths, which was a fun as they are known for those We started with a few appetizers: the pork bao, takoyaki, and the cucumber salad. Everything was really good! The cucumber salad was a little spicy for me, so next time I'll probably ask for a bit less chili oil. For ramen, my husband ordered the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, and I got the YingYang Bowl. It's divided in two so you can try two different ramens. You don't get to choose the flavors, but both sides were really good and it was fun getting to try two kinds in one bowl. Overall we really liked it. I'll definitely be checking out the Kyuramen location in Nashville when I get the chance.

food: Katsu omurice with Demi glaze- egg gravy rice heaven Each bite is warm, savory and comforting, paired perfectly with the crispy thin katsu 5/5 Katsuobushi pork ramen- good serving of thick pork belly, regular tonkotsu broth 3/5 Green tea with seat salt foam with boba- one of the better bobas in the area. Chewy boba!! Green tea flavor comes through the creamy sea salt foam. service: super fast and friendly! interior: cute and modern with plenty of seating. They even have tables in what looks like a matcha whisk

For those who love ramen, this place is amazing since it offers a variety of delicious options. Personally, I love the yinyang bowl since it offers two types of ramens on different sides of the same bowl: the Tonkatsu Shoyu ramen and Sapporo Miso ramen. I also love that each table comes with different types of flavoring peppers. My favorite, to my surprise, was the sauerkraut pepper. While it didn't add any heat, the flakes' slight tangy and salty flavor added an interesting taste profile that made each ramen even more delicious. The ambience of this place is casual and trendy. I like that there are tables both on the ground level as well as on the raised beehive-like platform. If you're lucky enough to be seated at one of these higher tables, you can dine in style while looking down on all the rest of the less fortunate diners. Service here is top-notch. I was greeted warmly upon entering the place and the waitress provided a friendly and attentive service throughout my dinner. Since its opening, Kyuramen has been trending on the more popular side. There could be a bit of a wait for a table if you go there on weekends. If you're not a fan of that, give this place a visit on a week day/night. You won't be disappointed.

    Shrimp Tempura (4Pcs)
    Torya M.

In town for a conference and the market scene was way too busy for me, so ramen it was. This is not my go to on any given day, not even at home, but I was feeling adventurous and that day was the day. And yes, I wanted a drink. No Tito's though, ha. The decor is so dope. Honeycomb pods, secluded seating with curtains, and I loved the privacy. You can also leave your mark in the restaurant with a cute keepsake which is a nice touch. We started with the shrimp tempura and garlic edamame, both were very good. The Mega Ramen was truly chef's kiss. Earthy, flavorful, hearty, and delicious with every bite. Someone please give me a lesson on chopsticks because I was struggling, but I made it work. Safe to say I need to put ramen into my rotation more often. Enjoy.

    Bailey B.

It's a rainy day here in Philly, so naturally I ordered ramen in. I love how it came prepared so as not to disturb the flavors/with the ability to reheat the items without affecting the texture. The heat of the ramen paired perfectly with the sweetness of the mango smoothie. Next time I'll definitely downgrade to 75% sweetness and add the mango boba balls. Great rainy day feast!

They have the honeycomb booths here, super aesthetically pleasing. The lady who sat us was super nice, but the additional service by another lady was kinda snarky... she had a bit of an undertoned of attitude whenever we requested anything, especially when we asked if they crepe cake, which they do not serve at this location... "we don't serve that here" with no apology or something with that tone... because of this... we will go to another Kyuramen that does have the crepe cake, without the honeycomb booths... that was just a rant. Food was about the same at other locations, just parking is costly in Philly... especially on the reading terminal market district. Oooof.

(7A) Curry Ramen W. Diced Chashu
    Cheri S.

Service was awful. It wasn't that busy, it was a Thursday afternoon and it took us flagging a waiter down to get service. They are offering an aesthetic rather than quality food. The ramen was just okay, and for just okay ramen, there are much cheaper ramen spots with more flavorful bowls and more interesting combinations. Despite the downfalls I did win one of the bowl that had a free desert items. But i never got to claim it. Overall go for the boba. Not the food. It's yet another social media resturant. Not for me. But i saw lots of people having a great time.

    Thai iced tea
    Janet C.

I ordered takeout from here so cannot comment on service, but the few times I've walked by, I have definitely noticed the unique interior design of the place. Finally, a spot in center city that does a decent omurice!!! They offer both a curry sauce and beef demi glace sauce to pick from. I got the omurice with katsu and also really liked the light crispy katsu. Would definitely return to have this again, as well as to try their ramen and teas. The Thai iced tea was just as expected!

The edamame was standard, and the takoyaki and pan-fried dumplings didn't taste homemade. Rather they both reminded me of what you would pick up at the frozen section at the food market. Nevertheless, they were passable. After all, we were here for the ramen. I opted in for their Terakawa special. The broth was flavourful, and the chashu was the most tender and juicy chashu I've ever had. As for the girlfriend, she opted in for their spicy ramen which was also spectacular. I absolutely loved her wavy noodles. I would have loved to have swapped out my straight noodles for her wavy noodles. They have a nice bounce and slightly chewy texture. Their marinated eggs were to die for. We put in a few extra orders for these. Overall, a great experience.
