I explained that I hadn't been swimming for about three weeks, so my hair wasn't freshly exposed to saltwater. We discussed what I wanted for at least ten minutes, and she even mentioned doing a test strand -- which I thought was a great, professional idea. Then she left to grab the color and came back saying she would not work on my hair at all. "Saltwater exposure and dead ends." Seriously? "Summer time!" That's not a reason to refuse a loyal, paying customer. Everything from my last appointment with Megan was right there in their notes, so they knew exactly what to expect. Yet I was still turned away -- not even offered a haircut or an alternative. When I asked if someone else could at least give me a trim, she said, "We're pretty light today."
